“I mean, you will still have to finish the three tasks from the bet."
She walked along silently for a moment, considering the information. She looked at Logan.
"Fine then."
"Good ."
She stole a look out of the corner of her eyes at how calm he was. She hesitated, in her mind at first but then decided it could not harm to tell him the truth.
She had to tell him the other clause In the contract, she stared at the mark, apparently speechless. Finally, she collected herself and killed off a smile on her face.
He could see the serious look she had on her face and immediately he felt concerned about it.
"What is the problem?"Logan asked.
He locked his gaze with her, in a way he was looking more worried than even Joanne had looked.
"There is something I have to tell you."
"What is it?"
She opened her mouth to speak but Brock joined them.
" It is time. " Brock muttered.
The Craven Sanctum;
West Chinatown.
Mere looking at the inscription on the walls with a binocular one could see the darkness hovering around the deserted building.
Logan swallowed the lump in his throat, as the situation was looking more severe in his mind than he had thought it would be, at the moment he thought of just turning the four cars back and heading back to his base.
Still the sudden realization of how much was into this flashes across his mind, he took one good look at the man behind him Brock as usual with an ear plug on.
Brock moved closer to where he was and whispered something about everyone being ready to swoop in.
It was the first time he was going to come up straight at people, and not just mere people, a gang, deadliest in the entire west.
Yet when he thought about the assault and the fact the pain he still felt from them, a bitter feeling crept through his soul in anger—
He clenches his fist before pulling out his gun, once again he runs through the instructions in his head, sinking deeply in him as the Brock blueprint of the entire sect.
Earlier that day…
Brock walked into the room that had ten other men seated all vicious-looking and smoking heavily.
A concerned look appeared on Logan's face, in a way it was the last thing he would have succumbed to if he still had a choice but now, his whole life was governed by the law of the Mafia.
The moment he had borne those tattoos it felt like his entire life had changed.
"This is how it is going to be," Brock said pointing out at a marked area with his Index finger.
"We swoop in through the Eastern part of the building, there are no cameras so we don't need you on this." All eyes turned at the sound of a crunchy noise from the new guy who had his mouth filled up.
"What?" He shrugged with a bit of the crisps falling off.
"Like I said, we don't need you." He muttered. " Still just Stay around. "
"Are many men in the building."
It was the first time he was speaking, He had his hand on his chin with his gun by his side.
"Estimating that twenty men would be right there by the time we arrive."
Logan nods his head. All the years of learning how to shoot, all the crime scenes that were filling up his mind. It was so surreal now, it was happening.
He looked around at the ten men willing to take a gun just so he would get back the respect and have his revenge, he smirked hard.
" Let's do this. "

Present
He looked around at the darkness surrounding them, it was slowly starting to rain again, the brief moment he was lost in thought had sent two men in to take the gates.
As they awaited their return, his phone buzzed.
Brock looked in his direction anxious as well, sweat ran down his brow as he motioned to him to put the phone out.
Just before he did, he took a peek at the message and saw who it was from— Joanne.
"一切安好"
Everything is fine
He sends the message, hoping she’ll respond, trying to calm the panic that rises in his chest.
A storm gave a crashing noise In the distance, and this time it wasn't his heart, he was not used to feeling this way. He was not used to the fear that was racing through his mind at the moment.
Message not delivered.
He shoved the phone into his pocket, despite the cool weather he was still sweating. Maybe all of this was giving him so much fear because he was putting his mind too much over it.
Maybe it was better this was all a futile effort and he should perhaps quit.
It was his fear speaking, whispering in his head again and making the whole situation harder.
The thoughts were still heavy in his mind when he saw a halogen light flash in the distance, the door to the car unlocks and he could see Brock's eyes shouting—
He raises an eyebrow, looking at Logan to make certain that he is ready for all of this.
"Are you ready?" He asked the question that had been running simultaneously in their minds.

He walked afterwards, moving gently down the steps one at a time. At the moment he considered telling the word he just heard to her but didn't, at least not till he had his facts right. But if there was anything he would let himself believe, it was the fact that he found the mole and Brock of blessed memories was right after all. After what seemed like a moment later, Logan appeared, his thick hair mussed from the number of times he ran his fingers through them , he had a broody expression even bloodier than usual. As he walked away donning nothing but a sleeveless shirt, running shorts, and shoes with a gun strapped to his thigh. He stepped out to the gentle rays of the sunlight with nothing but his shoes with its lacing tagging along as he walked past the guard manning the door."Tell her that I went for a run if she asks." He had barely said the words when he saw her yawning as she made way down the step with running shoes as well.Apparently, It was Logan first time he was seeing this a

He turned and saw Wade stroll into the room, his gun still steaming, a dog wailing in the distance. Confused, Logan tried to process what just happened. Two other men from the Mafia rushed in as Logan fixed Wade with the most absurd gaze."You scum —"His hands curled around his collar as he shoved him against the wall, the room echoed with their heart beating heavily from agitation. "What did you do that for?" He questioned. "Were you blind to see that I was questioning him?""But …But, you were under duress, it is just normal I shoot. " Of all things that could be blamed it was surprising that he chose to do it in the most disgusting way and blame mere instincts. He was enraged, Wade's face turned red as he gasped for air, the other two men watched with eyes widened, the shock glistering in their eyes.He loosened his hands and Wade fell to the ground with a thug gasping for air. "Take care of the body." He picked up his bag. "He is yours now." ******Home, sweet home that should have been

Logan grunts and lifts the bag forcefully, ignoring the man’s cry in protest as the piece drags on his big ear. The man wails louder which only serves to annoy Logan even more he drags the bag so hard he is sure there will be a bruise the next day as proof of this moment.“I advise you to stop producing whatever sound it is you’re making right now if you like that particular part of his.” He orders, pinning a glare on the screaming banshee. What an excuse for a man.The crying immediately stops and Logan nods, “Now you have two options since I’m feeling quite generous tonight.” He begins but his smile is anything but generous, it’s a cross between a sinister smile and a glare. The man shifts in his seat despite the ropes binding him tightly to the chair.“You could either talk and I make it quick or…” He drawls, picking up a knife from the collection of sharps on a stool behind him. “You ke
