Logan watched them leave, his mind was again filled with the fact that he needed a shower, and then he could figure out what his next steps
are as He longed for his revenge —
"When do you think I will be discharged?" He asked.
She smiles sheepishly. " By the weekend. "
"Weekend!" He grimaced, noting I was too far and he had to do something.
Soon after she had left, he waited for a while, he opened his eyes tiptoed down the hall, and peeked at the back door to see if any nurse was at the table.
The door sits in the frame at an awkward angle, almost as though it was a trap, and at any moment anyone might just walk to the door and see him trying to leave.
The sun shines in through the small windows, the sky beautiful and blue.
He walked to the door briskly and soon he was out.
He was certainly the last person anyone was expecting to see, at the moment he stood there still dressed in hospital wear, and the maid that got the door could barely stop herself from laughing watching as he walked in.
"I'd go get ma'am." She muttered before leaving the room after opening the door for him to walk in.
He barely nodded his head in her direction before the door was shut again, as soon as it was he got out of the hospital dress he was putting on and walked away naked to the bathroom.
Soon the only noise that filled the room was that of water running down from the faucet.
All dressed up and well shaved he stood back and looked at himself again in the mirror, already there was a plaster over his head where he had a cut.
He picked up a jacket and walked out, with his gun tucked to his back.
He knocked on the door to the study where he was certain Joanne and Brock were, there was another new man with his face buried in the computer as well, they all looked up as he walked in.
"I was surprised when she said you were back, ain't you supposed to be there for more days?"
He rolled his eyes. "I can't stand the drugs."
He had quite an eyesore expressive gaze in his eyes, "I need your help."
"Are you speaking to me ?" Joanne turned to him asking.
"Not you." He points to Brock.
"What do you need, Sir," Brock asked.
"You spoke about the Craven, tell me all you know about that place, I… "
" The Craven, a secret society in the Third Sect of the Mafia. " The new man that had been speaking and reading from the computer looked up to be Certain he had their attention.
"Who is that?" Logan asked
"He is our new IT," Joanne answered.
"Really, and what happened to Brock here?"Logan asked.
" We both know he is just filling the spot in the meantime."
" Should I continue? " The man asked.
" Yeah, please. " Logan begged.
" Like I said, they live in the suburbs. "
" Get a printout for the location. "Logan muttered.
" Copied. "The geek replies.
" A copy doesn't tell me what I think. " She muttered.
" Well, I have to do something. " Logan gritted.
"well? "She shrugged. " I can't stop you, take your time. "
He stepped out of the room.
Later that evening…
She was Walking through the garden that surrounded the house, shoving her hands in her pockets, she stared at the ground as she walked instinctively looking out as she did.
Her mind was disturbed, not at the fact that he had returned but the fact that she was still trying to balance everything that was happening all at once.
She found the trail that was to a deeper part of the field and walked through it. She had barely walked for ten minutes when she heard the sound of footsteps that caught her attention and she looked up curious as to who else was there. With narrowed eyes, she watched
the figure approach from the dying light —
His image towered over hers filling her up with recognition. It was Logan.
Pausing, she waited for the man to meet up with her. To the best of her knowledge, she hadn’t thought that she'd run to him here, it was her usual quiet time and she chose a time that would have most of the men away.
“Evening Logan” She called out once the man was close enough to hear her.
He was all sweaty and his shoe was covered with swamp mud.
"Didn't think I'd run to you here. " A thought that while he jogged at a spot as he looked at her warily, as if unsure what to do, then took a deep breath and gave a forced smile. “I was going for another lap car to join? "
Surprised by the fact that he was acting all cool as though he was feeling unconcerned about the fact that she had led to the cast being wrapped around his wrist she hesitated before nodding. This was a change.
While she was expecting the whole anger and all it turned out that he was taking this more mature than natural
Could it be that he had something on his mind?
Possibly!
“Uh… I would have said but not dressed for that. "
He stared at her appearance from Jean's leather jacket, she was right.
"Guess I would have to head home then."
They headed back together, each cautiously observing the other. Finally, tension
seemed to get at her enough that she couldn't stop herself.
"Logan," she called out.
"Yeah." He arched his brows.
"Just want to be sure we are on the same page."
He locked his gaze on her not understanding. " I don't understand. "
" You know, I want to be sure you've listened to my apologies. "
He gave a short laugh. “I don't do anything against you, just so you know the three tasks still stand."
She raised her eyebrows and cocked her head not understanding what he was trying to say.

He walked afterwards, moving gently down the steps one at a time. At the moment he considered telling the word he just heard to her but didn't, at least not till he had his facts right. But if there was anything he would let himself believe, it was the fact that he found the mole and Brock of blessed memories was right after all. After what seemed like a moment later, Logan appeared, his thick hair mussed from the number of times he ran his fingers through them , he had a broody expression even bloodier than usual. As he walked away donning nothing but a sleeveless shirt, running shorts, and shoes with a gun strapped to his thigh. He stepped out to the gentle rays of the sunlight with nothing but his shoes with its lacing tagging along as he walked past the guard manning the door."Tell her that I went for a run if she asks." He had barely said the words when he saw her yawning as she made way down the step with running shoes as well.Apparently, It was Logan first time he was seeing this a

He turned and saw Wade stroll into the room, his gun still steaming, a dog wailing in the distance. Confused, Logan tried to process what just happened. Two other men from the Mafia rushed in as Logan fixed Wade with the most absurd gaze."You scum —"His hands curled around his collar as he shoved him against the wall, the room echoed with their heart beating heavily from agitation. "What did you do that for?" He questioned. "Were you blind to see that I was questioning him?""But …But, you were under duress, it is just normal I shoot. " Of all things that could be blamed it was surprising that he chose to do it in the most disgusting way and blame mere instincts. He was enraged, Wade's face turned red as he gasped for air, the other two men watched with eyes widened, the shock glistering in their eyes.He loosened his hands and Wade fell to the ground with a thug gasping for air. "Take care of the body." He picked up his bag. "He is yours now." ******Home, sweet home that should have been

Logan grunts and lifts the bag forcefully, ignoring the man’s cry in protest as the piece drags on his big ear. The man wails louder which only serves to annoy Logan even more he drags the bag so hard he is sure there will be a bruise the next day as proof of this moment.“I advise you to stop producing whatever sound it is you’re making right now if you like that particular part of his.” He orders, pinning a glare on the screaming banshee. What an excuse for a man.The crying immediately stops and Logan nods, “Now you have two options since I’m feeling quite generous tonight.” He begins but his smile is anything but generous, it’s a cross between a sinister smile and a glare. The man shifts in his seat despite the ropes binding him tightly to the chair.“You could either talk and I make it quick or…” He drawls, picking up a knife from the collection of sharps on a stool behind him. “You ke
