Susan giggled with a mocking tone as she pointed at Gerald in his outfits.

“What is this, Gerald? What exactly are you trying to do here?”

Gerald stared at her with a slight smile.

“I don't know what you're talking about. Do you care to elaborate?”

Susan retorted a bit heatedly before giggling once again.

“Oh, I plan on doing exactly that. Why are you pretending to be something you're not? Where on earth did you even get such cheap gimmicks of such expensive clothes from high fashion brands?”

Gerald raised an eyebrow.

“Gimmicks? Susan, do you even know what you're talking about? Which part of what I have on my body is a thrift shop gimmick? I thought you would know better than to spew such rubbish. Didn't you always claim to be a fashion enthusiast? So why can't you distinguish real from fake?”

These words made Susan feel another rush of mixed feelings of shock and anger fill her heart.
