Samuel traveled for two hours. He knew he was getting closer.Suddenly, he stopped and closed his eyes. The group left the cave and walked for several more hours. They were now close to the place the map led to. Along the way, they encountered a group ahead, clearly heading in the same direction.They slowed, then stopped."Who are you?" a tall, handsome man asked as he stepped forward, dressed in an expensive purple robe.The people ahead were clearly divided into factions. Their screams tore through the air, but unlike before, their movements fell apart completely.Some lunged at him in blind frenzy, others turned to flee, and most staggered in chaotic confusion, crashing into one another as the flames consumed them.Samuel stepped forward instead of retreating. His figure blurred as he closed the distance, weaving through the chaos. One creature leapt at him, jaws wide. He sidestepped at the last instant, seized its skull, and slammed it into the ground with crushing force before finishing it with a burst of fire at point-blank range.Another clawed toward his back.
