"Is that her boyfriend? What family is he from?" one woman asked curiously.

"I don't know. He looks unfamiliar, yet he's clearly wealthy—just look at his car and clothes," another answered.

Some of the young men who were Christina's suitors glared daggers at Samuel.

Just then, another car drove in.

"Is that a Bentley Votess S1?" someone exclaimed.

"Yes, I heard it costs three hundred and fifty thousand dollars," another added.

The moment the Bentley’s door opened, the entire place erupted in murmurs.

"That's Annabelle—she’s the daughter of the first son of the Macaulay household. She’s really impressive. I heard she’s achieved massive success in the corporate world. She’s one of the brightest stars in the third generation," the guests gossiped as a beautiful, dark-haired woman stepped out gracefully.

Mark took only a glance at her before turning to Christina. Her expression wasn’t great, so he reached out and gently patted her head.

“I beg to differ, Old Man Brown, but you might not be a match for the strongest of the Urgabas,” Samuel said. The old man looked at him in a new light. “You know more than I thought, son. I think I understand what you are referring to, but the thing is, matters concerning Abominations of that level are not spoken of lightly. When I mentioned the strongest, I did not mean them.” He smiled faintly.“We have a rule not to mention them to others.”“Have you ever come across any?” Samuel asked.“I’m afraid not. I wouldn’t be alive if I had.” The old man threw the question back, though only for form’s sake. Samuel would not be standing before him if that were the case. “Have you?”“Maybe. Let’s not dwell on this topic,” Samuel said, shifting slightly. Still, he could not help thinking about his terrible luck. He had encountered two of them, while a renowned Urgaba Hunter like Brown had never come across even one.Samuel clasped his hands together and began explaining the artifact he had bui

Such things were rare, but not unheard of.“Why do you keep dodging?” Cain snarled. “If you have the guts, stay in one place and take me head-on. It had been four days since the visit to Panya. Samuel had requested a meeting with one of the higher-ups of the Supernatural Organization. It was a difficult request, but after Majeed made repeated appeals, his superior finally agreed to meet him. As a result, they traveled to the capital. It was Samuel’s first time being in the capital.“My superior is a very unpredictable man. He’s also extremely powerful. He is at the Golden Core realm, and he even has students at the same realm. Because of that, I believe he is definitely overpowered, even among Golden Core cultivators.”Majeed said this to Samuel as they drove into a vast compound. At the center of the compound stood a structure that resembled a dojo, built a few meters away from the main house.“Alright, thanks for the warning. But if he’s that powerful, how did he end up being your direct superior?” Samuel asked.“Oh, that?” Majeed chuckled softly. “This is actually a secret, but we are related. He’s my uncle, hehe. A boat sped swiftly across the river. Atop it were the president, the prime minister, and one other senator. Several military men were also on the boat, standing guard.Beside them were two additional boats, each filled with fully armed soldiers. They were the finest troops from Panya, sent to ensure that the president reached Dell City safely.“Mr. President, what exactly happened to our men?” the prime minister asked.“I don’t know,” the president replied grimly. “They haven’t returned from the mission, and I haven’t been able to contact them either. I already sent other men to investigate. They should call me once they find anything. But for now, all we know is that the targets are still alive and healthy…”He clenched his teeth before finishing, “…and they are waiting for us in Dell City.”One could only imagine his shock when he received a call from Eric that morning. Soon, Dell came into view. He had already informed the city mayor of their arrival in advance to prevent any unne

Samuel strolled casually around the island, watching as everyone tucked in their tents for the night.Nina had already set up her own tent, but when she noticed that Samuel looked as though he intended to remain outside, she frowned. She stepped away from her tent and walked over to him.“Aren’t you going to sleep tonight?” she asked softly.“No. Everyone can’t just sleep,” he replied in a low voice. “Someone has to guide the tents while everyone else is asleep.”“Then that should be me or Eric,” she said. “It’s your subordinates’ job to guide you, not the other way around.”“Eric is not my subordinate, and you are more than just a subordinate to me,” he said calmly. “In short, I no longer see you as one. Don’t worry about me. Nothing will happen even if I don’t sleep for days. Go and rest.”Nina walked a short distance away, picked up a rock, and placed it beside Samuel. Then she sat down next to him.Samuel looked at her in surprise, but he did not say anything to discourage her. Kn
