9. Cell Phone Left Behind

Mark cursed himself for seeming to rush to express his feelings to Sandrina, especially since he spoke very stiffly and did not make a romantic impression.

Suddenly, Mark corrected himself. He closed his eyes as he said this. "Sorry San, I didn't mean to push you, but you don't have to answer if you were surprised by my statement earlier," Mark said, which made Sandrina smile a little.

Unexpectedly, Sandrina reached out her palm to hold Mark's wrist. She looked deeply into Mark's eyes as their gazes met. "Thank you, Mark." Sandrina smiled softly. "I appreciate your courage," she added.

Mark didn't know how to react. He just remained silent while he looked at Sandrina's beautiful face, which was even more mesmerizing in the moonlight.

"I think I like you too."

And in the same second, Mark choked on Sandrina's statement. Sandrina quickly grabbed a drink and gave it to Mark. At the same time, Mark's cell phone lit up with a message from the system.

[Ding! Congratulations, your mission has been successfully completed.]

[Ding! Specialization Points: 35 ....]

[Ding! Congratulations, you have found your true love and become stronger. Continue to show that you deserve it so that you can receive an unexpected gift from the system].

"Sorry, I must have surprised you," Sandrina asked when Mark finished his water.

Mark smiled slightly and shook his head slightly. "That's okay, I'm glad to hear that."

Sandrina smiled, her cheeks flushed. Then they both fell silent, looking forward.

"Where do you work, Mark?" asked Sandrina after a few minutes of silence, now Sandrina tried to break the ice by asking.

Mark honestly did not know what to answer since he had no job without a system.

"I still work at home. I have a job that you'll find out about later," Mark grumbled, deciding not to tell the truth.

Sandrina nodded, she smiled softly. "I don't even know where to start my career after this incident."

"Why don't you try modeling again?" exclaimed Mark.

"I don't think I'll be accepted. Maybe I want to start my own business," Sandrina said, causing Mark to give a small nod.

"That's good, working with others shouldn't take too long because it's very boring and we should develop on our own. If you can open your own job, you can actually employ people who need it," Mark explained, which made Sandrina nod in agreement.

Sandrina nodded in agreement with Mark's thoughts. "I think I want to make a cafe that also sells different cakes so that the place will be more modern and attract young people to come there," said Sandrina, who got Mark's full support.

"Do you need my help? I'm ready to help and support you. Just tell me what I can do to make your business happen," Mark exclaimed as he looked earnestly at Sandrina.

"Thank you for being a support system for me Mark, but for now I can try on my own, later when I need your help I will definitely contact you," said Sandrina who got a nod from Mark.

After spending the night talking about many things, they felt that it was getting late, so Sandrina told Mark that she had to go home soon.

"I'll take you home, what's your home address?" Mark asked as he opened the car door for Sandrina.

"Thank you, Mark. I'll write it down on the map," Sandrina said with a big smile before the door was closed by Mark, who then went around to the driver's door.

[Ding! The next mission is to be a hero to your lover. And get 20 extra points...]

Mark frowned in surprise as he looked at the message. "That feeling of being a hero already, what's this challenge again?" muttered Mark before he finally got into the car and put his phone away.

Sandrina, who was waiting there, continued to smile sweetly at him as Mark followed the maps that Sandrina had placed to her house. Sandrina's house is on the outskirts of the city, in a housing development that is not too expensive and the location is quite quiet. The trip to Sandrina's house itself took about forty-five minutes.

"Mark, I think I'll just stop here," Sandrina said suddenly, which made Mark stop the car immediately.

"Why didn't you go to your house San?" Mark asked in surprise as he looked at Sandrina.

"It's okay Mark, it's my house, just go there. You can go home, it's late. I'll see you next time, okay? I'll call you and thank you for today, Mark. I'm really happy to spend time with you," Sandrina said before she finally opened the door and got out of Mark's car.

Before Mark could say anything, he saw Sandrina run into the gate of his house. Mark actually wondered what was wrong with Sandrina? The look on his face suddenly turned to fear. As Mark decided to ignore this and thought that Sandrina was safe because he saw her enter his house, Mark was suddenly surprised by a cell phone that was left in his car. It was Sandrina's cell phone. When Mark tried to look at it, a message appeared from his father, who was apparently still in contact with Sandrina.

"Unlocked?" Mark muttered to himself, he found it strange why Sandrina's cell phone was left behind, had she been sitting on it earlier? This is also no password, so Mark can immediately open Sandrina's W******p chat room, which turns out to be only his father's chat.

Father: Insolent child! Why aren't you at home at this hour? Do you want to be a woman like your mother? Go home now or you'll be punished!

Mark rubbed his chest as he read message after message from Sandrina's father. It felt too hard and painful. Mark wanted to get out of the car and enter the house because he had to return Sandrina's cell phone. But on the other hand he was thinking about Sandrina, would she be scolded by her father for coming home late? Mark could have taken Sandrina inside and helped her explain to Sandrina's parents so that she wouldn't get too much scolding from her father. After thinking for a while, Mark finally decided to get out of the car and walk over to Sandrina's house.

"Excuse me sir, could you please open the gate for me? My car is coming in, I'm a guest of Mr. Ronald," Mark said, deciding to mention the name of Sandrina's father.

"Yes, please come in."

After getting permission, Mark went straight back to his car and drove it into Sandrina's yard. He stared at the house from his car.

"It seems that after Sandrina decided to go home, this house was bought by her father. There's a lot I don't know about Sandrina since the breakup," Mark muttered before getting out of the car and knocking on the door.
