useless treatment

As promised, Eloise visited Hayden in the hospital. Luckily John allowed it before Eloise had a practice schedule. Luke had left his room without Eloise knowing. The king definitely didn't want to exacerbate the rumors in the palace that were bothering him.

Eloise opened the door of the hospital where Hayden was being treated. Hayden's face immediately lit up when she saw the woman coming. "I thought you'd forget your promise, ma'am."

"I'm not that bad." Eloise approached Hayden and gave a slight nod to the man, which of course made Hayden hiss.

“Eloise, you…” Hayden growled.

Eloise chuckled happily at the reaction she was expecting. "I thought you were a man of steel who couldn't feel pain."

Hayden rolled his eyes as a reaction which was enough to represent all the sentences he wanted to say in his head. "Are you starting to imitate Mr. John?" Hayden snorted lightly at the end of his sentence.
