The damp morning air hit Caleb’s face as he pushed open the heavy glass doors of Vanguard Tailors. The rain had reduced to a light drizzle, but the streets were still slick and dark.

His phone vibrated violently in his hand, displaying a fresh system alert that overshadowed the grey morning light.

[Ding!] [100x Cashback Rule Triggered!] [Transaction Verified: $100,000.00 USD.] [Processing Cashback...] [$10,000,000.00 USD Has Been Deposited Into Your Primary Account!]

Buzz.

A secondary notification from First Capital Bank flashed across the cracked screen: NOTIFICATION: Deposit: $10,000,000.00 USD. Available Balance: $10,780,012.45.

Caleb’s thumb hovered over the screen. Ten million dollars. Added to his initial balance, he was now holding over ten million liquid cash in his hands. The sheer absurdity of the amount made his pulse race, but the cold composure granted by his System kept his hands steady.

Behind him, Mr. Vance—the master tailor—was issuing swift, anxious orders to his apprentices to package the remaining custom-tailored suits, cashmere coats, and accessories that Caleb had purchased. The arrogant young salesman who had initially mocked him was now standing near the doorway, pale and rigid as a post, utterly terrified to meet Caleb's eyes.

"Mr. Vance, sir!" Mr. Vance called out respectfully, rushing forward with two sleek, black leather garment bags and a polished wooden box containing luxury wristwatches and silk ties. "Everything has been prepared according to your exact measurements. Would you like our private courier to deliver these directly to your residence, or shall we load them into your vehicle?"

"Load them into my vehicle," Caleb said calmly, stepping out onto the wet sidewalk. "Or rather... the vehicle I am about to purchase."

Ten minutes later, Caleb stepped into the glowing, high-ceilinged showroom of Aura Motors, the city's premier luxury dealership.

The showroom was filled with millions of dollars' worth of rare supercars, hypercars, and custom executive vehicles. Standing near a massive, matte-black armored SUV was a man in his late thirties wearing a sharp blue suit—Vincent, the Midnight Client Director.

Vincent’s eyes immediately locked onto Caleb as he walked through the door.

While Caleb's cracked phone screen and tired eyes spoke of recent hardship, his brand-new charcoal cashmere suit and the effortless, dominating aura he projected made Vincent step forward with an immediate, professional bow.

"Good evening, sir," Vincent said smoothly. "Welcome to Aura Motors. How may I assist you tonight?"

"I need a vehicle," Caleb replied, his voice flat and commanding. "Something reliable, black, and ready to drive off the lot immediately. I have a very important meeting at eight o'clock this morning."

Vincent guided him toward the centerpiece of the main floor—a custom-armored G-63 Apex Edition, equipped with VR7 ballistic armor, reinforced carbon-fiber panels, and an eight-hundred-horsepower twin-turbo V8.

"The previous buyer’s corporate financing fell through two hours ago," Vincent explained. "It is fully prepped, detailed, and ready for immediate road delivery. The total comes to six hundred and eighty thousand dollars."

"Ring it up," Caleb said without a second of hesitation.

Vincent took out the wireless payment terminal, his hands trembling slightly as he entered the exact figure: $680,000.00.

Caleb tapped his card token against the reader.

Beep.

For three agonizing seconds, the machine loading icon spun. Then, a bright green light flashed across the display: APPROVED.

[Transaction Confirmed!] [Amount Spent: $680,000.00 USD.] [100x Cashback Rule Triggered!] [Processing Cashback...] [$68,000,000.00 USD Has Been Deposited Into Your Primary Account!]

Buzz.

NOTIFICATION: First Capital Bank. Deposit: $68,000,000.00 USD. Available Balance: $78,100,012.45.

[Ding!] [Deep Admiration & Respect Detected from Target: Vincent.] [Converting Emotional Feedback into System Points...] [Received: +800 System Points!]

Vincent swallowed hard, bowing so deeply his forehead nearly touched his knees. "Payment confirmed in full, Mr. Vance! The keys, title, and registration documents are being finalized right now. Please allow me to escort you to our VIP lounge."

By 7:30 AM, the rain had completely stopped.

Caleb sat in the plush leather driver's seat of the matte-black armored G-63, listening to the deep, satisfying rumble of the twin-turbo V8 engine. He had changed into a fresh, custom-tailored dark suit, his hair neatly styled, looking like an unstoppable titan of industry.

He checked his phone display. The balance read $78,100,012.45.

It was time to visit St. Jude's Medical Center to clear his sister's debt once and for all—and then drop the hammer on the Vance family.

The deep-space ambient silence inside Aether-Zero’s upper command suite was heavy, thick, and almost physical. But no one in the command room was looking at Earth anymore.Every eye was locked on the central three-dimensional holographic tactical table.Floating in the center of the room, four billion miles away on the frozen outer fringes of the Kuiper Belt, was the newly awakened structure. It was a massive, fifty-kilometer-wide metallic ring, its surface covered in ancient, geometric runic grooves that glowed with a blinding, liquid-gold tachyon energy."Caleb..." Arthur whispered, his voice trembling so violently he had to grip the edge of the holographic console to keep his footing. The starlight reflected off his dark eyes, cold and calculating.Behind him, Arthur was hunched over a three-dimensional holographic projection table.
