"As an Honest Tycoon, you have to be concerned about the welfare of the people under you." The Mechanical voice of the System rang in Jasper's head.

"The host has been rewarded with five hundred million dollars," the mechanical voice continued.

"The money has been deposited into the host's account."

Jasper heaved a sigh of relief hearing this. Seemed like the System was watching his actions.

Also, he wondered what the heck a hidden mission was. But then he guessed it was just a kind of mission to help him, so while building his business, he was not going to go down the wrong path.

"So after that, what do we need?" Jasper asked, his voice sounding even more confident.

"Jackson looked at Jasper in shock, not knowing what to say. He couldn't believe that the other party was just going to give a hundred million dollars straight.

"I think the building, too, would need some restructuring." Jasper continued, seeing that the old man was in shock.

He was not too shocked by the way things were going. After all, he was sure that the man was not expecting this.

"Also, I'll pay off the loans owned by the company so we would be able to start fresh. Then, after all of these are completed, we will discuss the product we are going to produce." Jasper continued, laying down a path.

"Sir... sir, are you sure you want to do this?" Jackson stuttered, looking at Jasper, who was busy mapping out the route.

"Yeah, I don't mind how much we are going to spend, we are going to reach the top," Jasper confirmed his doubts.

"But...."

"No long talks, I still have to look for a construction company that would be willing to help us." Jasper interrupted Jackson, waving his hands.

After all, this was linked to his life. There was no way he was going to play with it, so he just wanted to work towards what was going to make it work straight.

"Give me the company's account, I would transfer two hundred million dollars. That should be enough to take care of all the problems." Jasper instructed.

"Yes sir." Jackson nodded and immediately gave Jasper the account.

He realized that the other party was not interested in talking too much and wanted to work right away.

"Also, you can tell the employees that we are going to be reforming the company. That they are welcome to stay, and if they don't feel like staying, they are free to leave." Jasper added after a while.

"Yes sir." Jackson agreed after hearing what Jasper said.

He had also been thinking about this and wasn't sure how he was going to tell Jasper. But since the other party had said it, he knew what to do.

After all, it seemed like their hearts were in sync. Now he was looking forward to starting the project and reforming the company.

"I'd assume that's all?" Jasper asked, looking at the old man.

"Yeah, that's sure everything." Jackson nodded hurriedly, hearing Jasper's question.

"Good. I'll transfer the money right now. If you need anything, you can give me a call." Jasper nodded in satisfaction and walked out of the company.

"Also, don't forget to compensate those who have stayed and worked in the company even though the company has gone bankrupt," Jasper added, and then turned around, flashing the receptionist a smile.

"Also, make sure to give her some bonus." Jasper laughed and finally walked out of the company.

"I hope the money will be enough. If it's not enough, then give me a call, and I'll transfer more." Jasper's voice came as his figure disappeared from view.

Jackson looked at the fleeting figure of Jasper, and for a long time, he didn't know how to feel.

At last, his prayers had been answered. He could see that Jasper was determined to help the company rise once again.

Else he was not going to put in this huge amount of effort. It seemed like it was time for him to double his efforts, too.

As for what kind of product they were going to produce, he was going to think about it. After all, the transformation was going to take a while.

Jackson then glanced at the receptionist and shook his head. She was probably the luckiest of them all.

Shaking his head, he rushed back to his office to do what Jasper had assigned to him.

Jasper, on the other hand, sighed immediately. He stepped out of the company.

The System was truly evil. The mission he was given was not an easy one.

Now he was going to be forced to use some money to hire a construction company that was going to help him.

Also, he was sure that it was going to cost a lot of money. He knew right from the start that it was going to cost him a lot of money.

If he was not careful, all of his money was going to run out, and he was not going to be able to complete the mission.

Then he was going to die. Death was the last thing he wanted, and thus, he was thinking of a way.

He didn't know when he was going to complete another hidden mission and could only hope that he was going to complete it soon, or else he was going to be cooked.

Pushing all that aside, Jasper shook his head and hopped onto his bike.

He needed to go get a house first. After all, he couldn't go back to the house where he had been thrown out. Also, there was no way he was going back to pack his stuff, so he was just going to buy the house, and then he was going to go to the mall to get all the other things that he needed.

That was what he was going to do. There was such a lot to do, he had to act first before it was too late into the night.

  • The system

The System completed its sweep quietly, feeding Jasper the results in fragments he could digest without noise. The hidden buyer was no ordinary operative. Not purely corporate, not purely political, but a careful mix of both. Jasper traced the patterns, the financial networks, the soft influence, the public-facing philanthropy. The man was a senior board member of a multinational tech conglomerate. His name rarely appeared in scandal. His face was clean in every photo, every press release. Privately, he held advisory roles, quietly lobbied politicians, and maintained access no law could strip away. Yet behind that public image, he financed destabilization, acquisitions, and manipulations. The mob boss had been muscle, disposable, nothing more.Jasper sat back against the cold wall of the cell, hands resting on his thighs. He didn’t speak. He didn’t need to. The failure of the prison raid rippled through the criminal underground faster than the mob boss could anticipate. Rumors traveled along encrypted channels, whispered by low-level operatives and repeated in hushed tones at safe houses. In those corridors, uncertainty bred panic. The strike squad’s disappearance was no accident. Someone stronger than expected was moving in the shadows—and worse, someone was watching.Jasper remained seated on the edge of his bunk, hands clasped loosely, eyes fixed on the gray wall across from him. • No noise

The holding facility sat quiet in the early hours of the night, the kind of quiet that felt manufactured. Lights hummed overhead, steady and white, washing the concrete corridors in sterile calm.
