"As a tycoon, you can't stay idle." The mechanical voice rang in Jasper's mind.

"The host is to raise the level of Sky Hotel from a five-star. Bc Hotel to a seventh-star Hotel in a Month." The voice continued.

"Also, the host is to make Skyline Technologies worth five hundred million Dollars in two months"

"Failure to do so results in death." The voice added.

Jasper's eyes widened in shock after hearing this. What the heck was this thing saying? How was he going to do it?

Raise a five-star hotel to a seven-star hotel in just a month. What the heck was this system thinking?

He needed to know if it was just playing with him. But after seeing the penalty and the countdown in days and hours, sweat covered Jasper's forehead, and he knew that he was going to die if he didn't do what the system had said.

How was he going to do it? He needed some kind of plan. He was going to have to rack his brain.

But that was not important. First he had to go check out the hotel and then the company he was given.

Once he had seen the state that the two were in, he was going to know the next line of action.

Thinking about this, Jasper groaned and got up swiftly. Looking around, he saw his old bike and immediately walked towards it.

Opening the seat of the bike, he took out an old but clean shirt. He had always had the habit of keeping spare clothes, so today it came in handy.

He was never going to step into the house again and leave it for Amelia and her boyfriend; they could do whatever they wanted to do with it, but he didn't care.

Getting onto his scooter, he started it and drove toward the hotel. Soon, he was at the hotel.

Looking at the magnificent buildings, which were one of the best in the city, Jasper sighed, not knowing what to do.

How was he going to turn this hotel into a seven-star hotel in just a month?

He felt it would have been more feasible if he had given him about two years. Yet the system had decided that he was to do it in a month.

How the heck was it even possible? He was going to have to rack his brain for this and could only hope that he was going to be able to do it.

He didn't want to die, so he was going to have no other choice but to rack his brain.

Pushing the thoughts to the back of his mind, Jasper walked into the hotel. Walking straight to the receptionist's table, he looked at the woman with a smile on his face.

"Good morning, sir; how can I help you?" The woman asked while forcing a smile.

Though she felt a kind of disgust for Jasper, she didn't show it. After all, this was a five-star hotel. They had been trained to respect all customers no matter what.

"I'm looking for Michael. Could you give him a call and inform him that Jasper Brennan is looking for him." Jasper asked with a smile on his face.

The receptionist's face twitched slightly hearing what Jasper said, but she didn't say anything.

If it was a normal case, she would have already called the guards and had them throw Jasper out of the hotel.

But just a few minutes ago, the manager had come looking for her, stating that someone was going to come looking for him and that she should give him a call no matter who it was.

"Sir, he said he'd be here soon." The receptionist flashed Jasper a smile as she dropped the phone after contacting the manager.

"Thank you very much." Jasper smiled and was about to turn around to look for a place to wait when an arrogant voice sounded.

"Do you think I'll be impressed with your lies?" someone asked.

"Amelia." Jasper furrowed his brows as he turned around to look at the other party.

Not surprisingly, it was Amelia and her new boyfriend. She was holding his arms and was snuggling into his arms even though they were in public.

Behind them were the two bodyguards who had beaten him up.

At that moment, Jasper felt nothing but disgust towards Amelia. So he couldn't care less and turned around to leave.

"How dare you try to walk out on me. Didn't you hear I was talking to you?" Amelia became infuriated, seeing that Jasper was about to walk out on her.

Jasper looked around, confusion written on his face, and after a while. He turned around wanting to leave.

"How dare you!" Amelia burst out into a rage, seeing that Jasper didn't even care about her.

"I said you should stop!" She roared.

But Jasper pretended as if he couldn't hear anything and just looked around.

"Jasper, are you deaf, or didn't you hear that I'm talking to you!" Amelia lost it all and roared in rage, her veins bulging out of her forehead as she glared at Jasper.

"Oh, I didn't know you were talking to me." Jasper let out a chortle before turning to look at Amelia.

"You...." Amelia was so annoyed, but there was nothing she was able to do to the latter.

"Sorry, but I'm quite busy and I don't have your time. You and your boyfriend should go ahead and do whatever you want. I don't want to know about it." Jasper waved his hands dismissively.

He was too disgusted to talk to the two and felt that it would be an absolute waste of time.

It was better for him to spend time thinking about how he was going to complete the System's mission.

That way, he would know that he spent his time doing something tangible rather than arguing mindlessly with two brats.

"How dare you try to leave, didn't you hear that my girlfriend is talking to you!" A hoarse voice sounded, and the next moment, Jasper was surrounded by the two bulky men behind Amelia and her boyfriend.

The System completed its sweep quietly, feeding Jasper the results in fragments he could digest without noise. The hidden buyer was no ordinary operative. Not purely corporate, not purely political, but a careful mix of both. Jasper traced the patterns, the financial networks, the soft influence, the public-facing philanthropy. The man was a senior board member of a multinational tech conglomerate. His name rarely appeared in scandal. His face was clean in every photo, every press release. The failure of the prison raid rippled through the criminal underground faster than the mob boss could anticipate.
