Caleb and Owen rejected the idea that Cassian was the one who caused the Silverstone family business to collapse. But they had not offended anyone today except Cassian and Elara.

"S-Sir, can you explain what's going on?" Owen nervously asked Logan.

Unfortunately, Logan had no intention of explaining anything. He returned his attention to Cassian. "You came to discuss something, right? Let me take you to my office!"

Cassian and Elara followed Logan without a word, leaving everyone still in shock. They felt like they were in a dream because what had just happened made no sense.

In just an instant, Silverstone's business could be destroyed. Who exactly was that shabby man?

Some people breathed a sigh of relief as they were about to disturb Cassian but did not because Owen and Caleb made their move first.

Owen recalled his father's words. Whether he liked it or not, he needed to chase Cassian for the sake of the family business.

"Please listen to me! I am guilty of offending you. But this all happened because of Caleb. He was the one who bothered that lady!"

Caleb was shocked by his brother's declaration. It turned out that Owen wanted to save the family business by using him.

He could not accept this and went after Cassian. "Actually, it was Owen who came up with the idea to bother you two! I only followed his instruction because I was afraid of him."

"I never said that!" Owen growled. Since Caleb took the initiative to tease Elara in the first place, he reacted by going with the flow.

"You're so cruel for trying to push me to the edge. Sir, just punish Owen! The Silverstone family has done nothing wrong."

"Don't listen to him. If anyone deserves punishment, then it's my brother, Caleb!"

Cassian continued walking without responding to Owen and Caleb. As he neared the private elevator, the guards swiftly blocked the two of them.

"You shouldn't have mentioned the Silverstone family name," Elara said before the elevator doors closed. "Destroying a second-tier family is a piece of cake for my boss!"

Seeing the elevator close, Owen and Caleb collapsed to the floor. Their bodies were losing strength. They had no idea who Cassian was and where he lived. It was impossible to restore the family business if they did not know his identity.

On the other hand, Cassian arrived at Logan's office. He walked over to the window, gazing at the beautiful view of Lumithorn city.

"Starting today, I will take over the company," he declared.

Logan smiled happily. "I'll announce it to everyone in the city!"

"No, don't do that," Cassian turned to Logan. "I don't want people to hear my name. I came here to check the list of business partners."

"Yes, sir. Here's the list."

Cassian received a document listing all of Bridge Point's business partners. His gaze grew fiery for a moment when he saw Aveline Fashion on the list.

Thanks to Aveline's business, the Everhart family managed to ascend to the fifth tier. Being able to enter the tier list was an outstanding achievement because they were nothing before.

"I'd like to remove some of the business partners I've marked," Cassian said, handing the document back to Logan.

"What a coincidence that there's a company party tonight! I can create a new list with different levels for the business partners."

"Good. Elara and I will be at the party."

That night, the Bridge Point party took place at a five-star hotel exclusively booked for the occasion. It was a clear demonstration that Bridge Point was indeed the top company in the city.

The guests came in their best clothes and vehicles as if this party was a showcase. The parking lot looked like a fancy car show with all the expensive vehicles.

Elara's car was noticeable, not because it was luxurious, but because it was old and seemed out of place among the other cars parked beside it.

"Why is there an ugly car here?" A girl with an overly extravagant appearance frowned in disgust. She was Olivia from the West family.

The man beside her was Nathaniel Starling. He winced when he saw someone get out of the car. "Isn't that your cousin?"

Olivia glared in surprise at seeing Elara here. A grin was etched on her face as she realized her cousin had arrived with a man wearing ordinary clothes.

"Long time no see," she deliberately greeted Elara to embarrass her. "It's been three years, and you're still using that crappy car. You also came with a loser. What an embarrassment to the West family!"

Elara was surprised to bump into Olivia in the parking lot. They were both from the West family, the second-tier family in town.

However, the difference was that Elara was not a favorable daughter. Her parents were at the bottom of the family because their business was not doing well.

The government required all influential families to send at least one child to the battlefield as loyalty. Elara decided to go to war because the West family promised to help her parents' company.

At that time, she did not expect to meet Cassian and become his assistant. But no one knew that she was the God of War confidant.

Olivia examined Elara's car and was sure it was just a cheap car. She crossed her arms over her chest. "I heard you didn't attend the Grand Ceremony. Did you run away from the battlefield out of fear? You've disgraced our family!"

"I didn't attend because I had important business," Elara replied indifferently.

"Don't lie! Mr. President gives extraordinary compensation to soldiers who served in the war. I'm sure you didn't go to the battlefield. You're having fun with a loser instead!"

Olivia embraced Nathaniel and introduced him arrogantly, "This is Nathaniel, my boyfriend from the Starling family. Right now, Starling is still in the second tier. But soon it will rise to the first tier."

"You're too much. My family is very ordinary," Nathaniel pretended to have a humble heart.

"You can be proud, my dear. We're here as VIP guests. Bridge Point will be announcing the business partner levels, and Starling is sure to be at the silver level!"

Bridge Point would divide the levels into Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The gold level could only be obtained by first-tier families and would get more collaboration contracts, followed by silver and bronze.

Olivia was confident that Starling and her parents' company would get the silver level since they were from a second-tier family.

Elara was in no mood to listen to her cousin's nonsense. "Let's get out of here," she grabbed Cassian's hand.

But Olivia kept her from leaving. She laughed mockingly. "Your man was too embarrassed even to speak up. Losers like you two have no place at this party. You must be here as cleaners or servants!"
