Elara ignored the young man's hand. "No, you can't," she replied with a straight face.

The young man thought Elara was just playing hard to get, so he persisted in his efforts to charm her. He glanced at Cassian, who he saw coming with Elara. It irritated him that an ordinary guy could approach her.

"I saw you coming with this shabby man. That hurts my heart! A poor loser doesn't deserve to be with a woman like you. I can treat you better than him. You're better off by my side."

Elara smirked. "And what makes you think you're worthy of me? You're annoying me. Get out of my face!"

The young man was furious after Elara insulted him in front of everyone. The warmth vanished from his expression in an instant. His face turned red as people in the lobby looked at him with pity.

His brother, accompanying him, was also furious. He told Elara, "It's like you've become ignorant by hanging out with losers. I'm Owen, and this is Caleb, my brother. We come from the Silverstone family!"

Silverstone was a second-tier family in the city. In Lumithorn, how important your family was determined your place in society. There were five tiers, each with different amounts of power and respect.

The first tier was the ruling families who had complete control over the city, whether it was business or politics. They could change the policies with their influence.

The second tier was the big business families. They managed large businesses and employed most of the city's population.

The third tier was the underground dominant families, the fourth tier was intellectual families such as scientists, and the fifth tier was the middle-class business families.

The Silverstone family's influence in the city was only one tier below the first tier. That was why the people in the lobby were terrified. They immediately turned their gazes away from Owen and Caleb.

"Do you already know where your place is?" Caleb lifted his chin haughtily. He glanced at Cassian. "With just one word, I can wipe out your entire generation!"

Cassian ignored him. The rank of family in Lumithorn did not scare him. Besides, he did not come to Bridge Point to argue with the arrogant son of a wealthy family.

"Do it if you can," Elara challenged Caleb instead, surprising everyone.

They had no idea what she was thinking. Clearly, she had lost her mind for daring to offend someone from the Silverstone family.

Owen and Caleb thought Elara was just being tough to defend her pride. The man who came with her had not said anything from the start, so it was obvious that he was scared.

"You must have come to Bridge Point to make a success of your business, but that will never happen!" Owen shouted.

Everyone believed Elara would regret her actions and beg for forgiveness. People who came to Bridge Point must have wanted to grow their company.

Elara's business could not do well because she had offended the Silverstone. A second-rate family could easily destroy any business in Lumithorn.

However, contrary to what everyone expected, Elara did not show any regretful look at all. Instead, she grew bolder towards Owen and Caleb.

"You guys can only boast about the power of the Silverstone family, right? Without your family, you are nothing!"

Her words made people gasp in shock. Owen and Caleb clenched their fists in anger. They could no longer tolerate Elara's attitude despite her beautiful face and curvy body.

Just at that moment, Logan appeared in the lobby. Everyone was surprised by the CEO's arrival.

Caleb grinned at the sight of Logan walking towards him. "Your business is completely ruined, Lady," he mocked Elara.

He reached out his hand for a handshake with Logan, but the CEO simply walked past him, leaving him feeling extremely embarrassed. The onlookers could not help but feel secondhand embarrassment witnessing the awkward encounter.

"Why did the CEO ignore him? Isn't he from the Silverstone family?"

"Logan is from a first-tier family. He can ignore Silverstone easily."

"But why would he suddenly do so? This is strange."

Caleb and Owen were just as confused as the others. They could not understand why Logan was ignoring them.

Silverstone had been a partner of Bridge Point for a long time. Logan should not have ignored that fact. But he was acting strangely when approaching Cassian and Elara.

"Welcome to the main office of Bridge Point Corp!" he bowed respectfully to them both.

His action sent shockwaves through the room. Caleb and Owen exchanged puzzled looks, unsure of what had just happened.

"Sir, there seems to be a misunderstanding," Owen spoke to Logan. "You failed to recognize us because we rarely take care of the family business. But I am the representative of Silverstone, not this shabby man!"

Logan looked at Owen and remembered he had an appointment with the Silverstone family representative. But he'd forgotten about it because he was too focused on Cassian.

"I didn't misunderstand. This man is the company's priority," he clarified, surprising everyone once again.

Cassian smiled, enjoying Owen and Caleb's shocked faces. "CEO, two representatives from Silverstone are bothering me. They said they would destroy my business because my friend and I ignored them. Isn't that too much?"

Cold sweat ran down Logan's face. As soon as he received Cassian's call, he rushed to the lobby because he did not want to keep him waiting.

He had not anticipated Owen and Caleb to disturb his special guests. It made him furious because he was worried that he would be affected by their actions.

"Even though you are from the Silverstone family, you have gone too far by disturbing my guests. Quick, apologize to them right away!"

Caleb frowned. "I'm sure this poor man and this rude woman have scammed you! They must have manipulated the data to gain your trust. Can't you see they're wearing cheap clothes?"

"That's right," Owen continued. "They're just two losers. Ignore them before you regret it. After all, Silverstone is an important business partner of Bridge Point!"

But their words had no effect on Logan. The cheap clothes Cassian wore meant nothing to him because he already knew his true identity.

In a cold tone, he announced, "Silverstone is no longer a partner of Bridge Point! The company will terminate all cooperation with Silverstone. Anyone who cooperates with Silverstone will be treated as enemies."

Caleb and Owen laughed, assuming Logan was joking with them. How could Bridge Point abruptly end cooperation with a second-tier family?

A minute later, Caleb's cell phone rang. It was his father. He grinned as he said to Logan, "I'll report your words to my father! You can't treat an important partner like this!"

But before he could say anything, his father was already yelling.

"You're causing a disaster! Our family's business is in ruins because of your actions. All our business partners have cut ties with us. What's going on with you?"

His father's statement dumbfounded Caleb. "W-What are you talking about? I didn't do anything!"

"Don't pretend you don't know. The business partners said that you and Owen were the reason they canceled the partnership."

Since the call was on loudspeaker, Owen could hear it. He stammered, "W-We just went to Bridge Point for some business. For God's sake, we didn't offend anyone!"

"I don't want to know. No matter what, you two need to figure out how to get our business back!"

The call was switched off. Owen and Caleb swallowed nervously. Their father was not joking. The family business was ruined.

But who had they offended? With skeptical expressions, they glanced at Cassian and Elara.
