Landing of the Meteorite

On the other side, Edric led a group of people and ran madly towards the mountains.

As the saying goes, "If you run too fast you'll die." 

The mountain was right in front of them, but they couldn't reach it no matter how hard they ran. At this time, they had already left the city, and there was nothing but flat land in front of them, with no place to hide.

Edric's brute force training this year was mostly weight-bearing and long-distance running. He didn't care, but he made the group of guys behind him foam at the mouth and almost spit out their tongues! 

He sneered repeatedly. It seemed that he could tire these people out without running to the front of the mountain. He thought: “When you guys are almost tired, I will go up and interrogate you slowly.”

Just as Edric was thinking, a fighter helicopter suddenly flew over from the distance. The searchlight at the bottom of the helicopter turned on, and a large circle of white light was locked on Edric.

Edric frowned and squinted his eyes to look upwards. That was not the helicopter that Mecha Star transformed into, but most likely a mechanical helicopter without consciousness.

The helicopter flew over his head, but the lights were still locked on him. Edric could vaguely see that a man jumped out of the helicopter and stood there steadily. The light red light on his body covered his entire body like flames.

Edric carefully identified that this person was actually at the tenth level of the Light Red First Order Earth Concentration, which was the first order point!

This guy couldn't be defeated by him! Edric could guess without thinking too much, and quickly turned half-way and ran to the other side.

"Want to leave!" The man rushed forward like the wind, pulled Edric's hands behind his back, and pushed him down. He bent one leg and half-knelt down.

The man stood behind Edric, holding both of Edric's hands with one hand and pressing the other hand on Edric's head, with a sneer on his face. Half-kneeling Edric struggled and shouted, but the man behind him was too strong for him to break free.

The herd of guys behind them chased after them, all holding their knees and panting wildly, saying breathlessly: "This guy can really... fucking... run!"

Edric cursed silently in his heart.

The yellow-haired man with a broken nose pushed through the crowd, walked forward, and said with a nod and a bow: "Brother, thank you for your help! Otherwise, we would not be able to catch up with this kid!"

"Are you going to kill this kid, or should I do it?" Garland asked calmly.

"No need, Garland, we can do it ourselves!" As he said that, the yellow-haired man rolled up his sleeves, raised his long knife, and pretended to chop.

"Wait!" Edric suddenly shouted, "Who are you and why are you people trying to kill me?"

"Why?" The yellow-haired man said viciously. "Ask God when you see him."

As he said that, he swung the long blade in his hand towards Edric's head.

"Ah, uncle, thank God you're here!" Edric suddenly thought of an idea and shouted as he looked behind him with a rich expression.

And precisely so, after hearing his words, everyone whose attention was originally on Edric suddenly froze. They all raised their heads at the same time, and the long sword that the man swung down also stopped in mid-air.

Edric immediately twisted his body and broke free from Garland's restraints. He grabbed a handful of dust on the ground and threw it at Garland's face. Then he punched the yellow-haired man's nose bridge, hitting the bull's eye.

Suddenly, the yellow-haired man was blown away by a huge force, and the nose, which had stopped bleeding, began to bleed again!

"Screw you, bastard...." Hangman cursed in pain after scoring his second goal, and rolled around on the ground madly.

Edric leaped up, kicked away a stunned animal beside him, and continued to run towards the mountain. This time, he ran at full speed, hoping to reach the mountain before Garland could react.

This stretch of mountains has a name, called "Strange Beast Mountain", where some mutant beasts that were not killed by earthquakes or acid corrosion a hundred years ago live. 

When they also found that there was no acid corrosion in the Federation, they rushed over and occupied the mountain as king! Although it is very dangerous to enter the Strange Beast Mountain alone, Edric has no time to care about so much now, and he will escape first!

After Edric ran away, the guys realized that Edric was bluffing them. Garland, who was still rubbing his eyes, was furious and ordered everyone around him, "Chase him, and kill him with your machetes!"

"Kill him!" The others roared in unison.

Just to kill a piece of trash at the basic introverted stage? When these guys received such a task, they were quite proud. They thought that they could take Edric's life with just a few moves today, and then go to collect the money. 

However, they didn't expect that Edric would torment them for most of the night, deceive them, and play with them by chasing them. They were already furious, and without Garland's reminder, they would immediately cut him into pieces after catching him!

After Garland's eyes recovered, he identified the direction and chased after them at a speed nearly twice as fast as these people.

Edric was anxious. Although there were fewer people behind him, they were all elites, not to mention 'Garland' with a light red glow of power on his body. If no miracle happened today, he would be in great danger.

This made Edric even more angry. He didn't provoke anyone, so why were these people forcing him so hard?

The group of guys behind him were running for their lives. Suddenly, he felt a red light flash in front of him. Garland had already overtaken them and was catching up quickly.

"Die, you piece of shit!" Garland ran behind Edric, and suddenly stretched out a big hand and slapped Edric on the back. Edric was shocked that Garland's speed could be so fast. He instinctively turned half-turned and punched with his left hand.

Edric screamed as his body was knocked backwards. His left hand was clenched into a half fist, with the shapes of his little finger, ring finger and middle finger looking unnatural, obviously broken.

"Just now the blade couldn't cut into my arm, so how come it's broken now after just a casual hit!" Edric thought angrily.

After flying back more than ten meters, Edric fell heavily to the ground, almost dying. Garland followed him like a shadow, with a ferocious expression, and his big hands clenched and clucked, and he punched Edric's chest hard.

"I'm going to die!" Edric thought fearfully. Now his body couldn't move. Even if he could move, he couldn't avoid Garland's fast speed. He sighed sadly. He didn't expect that he would die like this. Before he died, he didn't even know who wanted to kill him.

Suddenly, Garland's fist stopped in mid-air, and he stared at Edric's upper back with his eyes wide open. Edric was startled, and turned his head to look at his upper back, and then his eyes dropped to the ground without any surprise.

In mid-air, a bright white object was flying towards them rapidly. It was flying at an incredibly fast speed and came to their side in the blink of an eye.

Edric didn't even see clearly what it was. He only heard a group of guys behind him shouting in fear.

"Meteorite!"

"Run!"

And then they ran away in all directions.

With a loud banging sound, the meteorite hit  the ground in front of Edric . Suddenly, a huge shockwave came with Edric as the center, and the ground within a range of dozens of meters seemed to be affected by a bomb wave. 

A lot of dust was raised to the sky, and the earth was shaking, as if the sky was falling and the earth was cracking.

The entire land of more than ten meters was smashed deep into the ground, forming a meteorite crater.

Including Edric, all the people there, were affected by the impact and fainted. 

They lay on the ground in all directions. Some of their bodies were covered by dust, some were half exposed, some were at the bottom of the crater, and some were above the crater."
