Hearing Lois' name stunned Mila. A prominent business figure had shown respect to Callen. People started to whisper that Callen had strong connections.

Although the Brooks family was not among the elite families in Avenfall, ever since her husband became a management consultant at Lumira Enterprise, they had slowly built influence in the city. Sooner or later, their family would surely join the ranks of the elites.
