Camila's idea actually made sense this time. If soldiers from The Dawnfront got involved, even The Imperial Vanguard wouldn't be able to interfere. Among the three factions, The Dawnfront held the most power because the people supported them.

During the war, they were the only ones who stood firm to protect civilians. They guarded abandoned border fortresses, escorted refugees from burning cities, and defended villages from bandit troops born out of chaos.

The emperor had appointed their leader as the highest-ranking general, and that was when the title The Unbroken Warlord was born.

Still, Ivy wasn't sure Callen knew anyone from The Dawnfront.

"I'll try asking him." She reached for her phone, planning to call Callen, but the sound of the door being forced open stopped her.

Camila's face turned pale with panic, and she pushed Ivy toward the door to see what was happening.

Lily came out of her room with a worried face. "Mom, what's happening? Are bad people attacking our house?" she as

The fight went on. Arthur kept attacking while Callen only defended. To ordinary eyes, it appeared that Callen was being pushed back, and Arthur was the one in control. That's precisely what Nash, Arthur's subordinate, thought too.But Arthur was already starting to panic because not a single one of his attacks managed to hurt Callen, not even a scratch.'Damn it! Why isn't he getting hurt?' he cursed in his mind. His breathing had turned heavy, sweat drenched his face, while Callen didn't even look tired. There wasn't a single drop of sweat on him."Do you want me to give you a short break?" Callen offered with a sarcastic tone.Arthur gritted his teeth. "I'll give you a break instead. An eternal one! In your grave!"After saying that, he gathered Rune energy around both fists. The wind blew fiercely around him. This was Arthur's ultimate move. No one had ever survived it. Not even Callen would escape today.Nash recognized that technique and was sure Arthur would win. He didn't feel

Callen's words made Arthur lose his temper. "How dare you say something so disrespectful about Lieutenant Alfred?!" he hissed sharply.Lieutenant Alfred was someone he deeply respected, a man he looked up to and hoped to surpass one day. Callen's provocative words were enough to make his anger explode."I only said the truth," Callen replied calmly.Arthur clenched his teeth. "Hmph! Truth? What comes out of your filthy mouth is nothing but insults toward the lieutenant! Today, I'll punish you on his behalf!" he shouted.Callen's face remained calm as Arthur walked toward him, releasing killing intent. At that moment, Landon stepped between them. "S-Sir Arthur, this man isn't an ordinary person. Please, control your anger," he warned nervously. He had seen how strong Callen was, so he advised Arthur to back off. He didn't want to witness another bloody scene.Arthur's jaw tightened at those words. "You damn insect! Who do you think you are to block my way?" he growled.Landon's body tr

"How dare you hit my daughter?"The angry shout mixed with a killing aura made the soldiers' bodies tremble at once. Their legs went weak, and they couldn't support their weight, collapsing to the floor.Only Landon was still standing, though fear covered him, and his whole body was sweating cold. He swallowed with difficulty. In the blink of an eye, Callen suddenly stood beside Lily, who lay on the ground.None of the soldiers dared to move even a little, as they were terrified. They didn't even notice Derrick, who was still screaming in pain with both hands still spurting blood.Callen couldn't hold back a grimace as he saw Lily's condition. He crouched and took his daughter into his arms. Bluish marks showed on her chubby cheek. His trembling hand moved to stroke that cheek gently. His pupils shook with guilt, as he came late and couldn't stop this from happening. He turned to Derrick, who was kneeling on the ground, and at once his killing aura grew thicker than before.Landon and

Hearing those words, Callen felt panic and worry rising in his chest. In the jeep he rode earlier, he hadn't sensed anyone else inside, which meant Lily was in the other jeep."Ivy, calm down first. I'll find Lily here and bring her home safely," Callen said softly, trying to soothe her."How can you find her when you're being detained?!" Ivy shouted in frustration. He could feel her despair. The memory of Lily's kidnapping by Jade must still haunt her.To calm her further, he said, "I've been proven innocent, Ivy. I'm free now, and I'll look for her right away.""Alright. Then please tell me where you are. I'll come to you.""It's too dangerous for you to come here," Callen replied with concern. He remembered on his way here that several guards were stationed around the area. They were probably Lois's personal guards, since all of them were strong. Some are even stronger than Spencer. He worried Ivy would get caught in danger if she insisted on coming."I don't care how dangerous it

Spencer's expression twisted in anger. When he saw Lois lying unconscious on the floor, the torture tool in his hand slipped and fell. His eyes scanned the room's wreckage. Bookshelves toppled over, shards of glass were scattered, and a broken sofa lay on the floor.Judging from the scene, he believed a fierce fight had taken place here."Do you know the consequence of hurting a member of the Jaxquel family?" Spencer demanded, his breathing heavy. He was both furious and anxious, afraid he'd be blamed for not preventing the incident."She fainted on her own," Callen said casually.Spencer wanted to punch him right then, but he had to make sure Lois was alright first. So he rushed to her side.He checked her pulse and breath. Everything was normal. There were no visible injuries on her vital areas, which made him sigh in relief.Lifting her carefully, he placed Lois on the long sofa. His eyes then turned to Callen."What did you do to Miss Lois to make her faint?" he asked sharply.Cal

Lois's face instantly stiffened. Her eyes went blank for a few seconds before her body began to tremble. She almost dropped the phone in her hand. The broad smile on Callen's face made her complexion even paler."Why aren't you answering?" Callen asked again, raising one eyebrow."L-Lord, forgive me!" Lois stammered. She quickly knelt with her head bowed. Her hands felt damp with sweat, and her breathing turned heavy with panic.'He's The Unbroken Warlord? What should I do? Is this the end of the Jaxquel family?'She had thought the general was an old man, never imagining he'd be this young. That only proved how talented he was, and with such youth, he could still build his power even greater.Wiping the sweat from her chin, she froze as the memory of calling Callen crazy flashed in her mind. Her heart pounded wildly, almost jumping out of her chest. Her head spun just thinking about what might happen to her after all her rude words.Callen chuckled softly, watching Lois's trembling b
