Ethan’s face remained impassive, but there was a trace of irritation in his eyes.
”Edward, I thought I told you to keep a low profile.“
“I don’t need a helicopter or the attention it brings with it. Get rid of it this instant.”
Ethan ordered, his tone firm and cold.
“I apologize, Mr. Ethan. I simply wanted to ensure your safety.”
He straightened his posture and quickly obeyed Ethan’s order. In less than 30 seconds, the courtyard was as silent as a graveyard again.
When things finally quieted down, Edward continued.
“In that case, Mr. Ethan, I’ve also arranged a grand party in your honor,”
“All the students of Tussauds University will be there. Big names, popular singers, and even top DJs are on the list!”
“This would be the perfect chance for you to blend in seamlessly at Tussauds University.”
Edward offered, eager for Ethan’s response.
“Not interested.” Ethan said icily, "Is this your way calling the 'low-profile'?"
Edward’s eyes flickered, and he looked a bit flustered. He had actually prepared a luxury villa and a fleet of high-end cars too. But now, he didn’t even dare bring any of them up.
Instead, he pulled out a a sleek, diamond-encrusted black from his suit pocket.
“Then at the very least, take this card.”
“This card is the first of its kind in the world, offering unlimited usage.”
“There are no restrictions on the location or amount.”
Ethan finally took one thing Edward offered. He slipped the card into his pocket without even looking at it. His eyes, however, remained locked on Edward.
After a moment, the corners of Ethan's mouth tugged upward slightly.
"Edward, from what I know, you're not the type to be this eager to please."
“So, tell me, what’s the real reason why you came all the way to me?”
Edward stared at Ethan with a look of surprise on his face.
He did not expect Ethan to see through him so easily.
He let out a bitter sigh before begging in a tone filled with desperation.
"Yes, Mr. Ethan... I hope you can save my daughter.”
"I've reached out to every connection I have, but so far, no one has been able to figure out why my daughter fell into a coma."
"I’m not sure how much time she has left."
His voice faltered as he spoke, his eyes filled with hopelessness.
"That's it?" Ethan blinked in surprise, “I’ll meet her tomorrow.”
“What?”
Edward also blinked, taken aback by Ethan’s decision.
After all, the rumors he had heard about the young man had painted a different picture for him.
As the head of the Crestwood Group, he knew the limits of his capabilities very well.
But Ethan’s family was countless times more powerful than the Crestwood Group, and they were so powerful that even the most esteemed people he knew would bow to them.
The family was also renowned for their exceptional skills—and some superpowers far beyond that.
Whispers claimed they could even snatch the dead from God’s own hands, and pull people right out of hell.
As the heir to this legacy, Ethan had naturally inherited that power.
Edward didn’t expect the young master of the Blackwell Family to accept his request so easily. As long as Ethan agreed to step in, it would, in a way, mean that the mysterious coma of his daughter had finally found a solution.
“I appreciate, Mr. Ethan! I will never forget this favor!"
Edward expressed his enthusiasm with another deep bow, his body trembling with joy as he was unable to contain his gratitude.
“That’s okay, because I want you to do something for me too.”
Ethan waved a hand, cutting off Edward’s show of appreciation.
“What is it?”
Edward asked as he straightened his posture, a serious expression on his face.
He was ready to do anything Ethan demanded.
“I want you to find someone for me.” Ethan answered.
He dipped his hand into his pockets and brought out a ring.
It was an ordinary ring at first glance, with no standout features, but to Ethan, that ring meant more than diamonds.
“I want you to find the owner of this ring.” Ethan said and handed over the ring to Edward’s outstretched hands.
“The owner of that ring saved my life, and I believe the person is nearby. I need you to find the person for me.”
"Gender? Ages? Any details?" Edward asked thoughtfully.
"No idea," Ethan replied with a wry smile.
Edward thought for a moment, but still nodded. "Leave it to me."
Even if someone was beyond Ethan’s reach, tracking them down might still be a challenge for the Crestwood Group. But Edward would stop at nothing to make it happen.
Ethan nodded slightly at Ethan’s response. This was an important reason he had transferred to the prestigious Tussauds University—To find the ring’s owner.
Now, he would just wait.
After a brief silence, Edward asked carefully,
"Mr. Ethan…Would you really not reconsider the massive party?"
"Not a chance," Ethan replied flatly.
"Then at least let me give you a ride to wherever you're going!"
"..." Ethan didn’t even bother to respond this time. He just simply raised a hand and flagged down a taxi.

After giving the taxi driver the address where his father provided, Ethan nestled comfortably in the backseats of the taxi.
The drive was quiet, giving Ethan some time to reflect.
Besides finding the ring's owner, the main reason he came to Tussauds in the first place, was to find the fiancée his father had arranged for him years ago.
His father didn't say much about the marriage, just gave him an address.
But Ethan had a strong gut feeling that his fiancée would be the key to uncovering the truth surrounding his mother’s death.
The tangled web of events surrounding his mother’s death never sat right with him, and now he was going to unravel everything.
As the taxi rolled to a stop, Ethan paid the driver and stepped out in front of an impressive villa.
However, he had barely started walking when a familiar figure appeared.
It was Aria! The woman he had slept with last night.
She saw him immediately, and her pretty face instantly twisted with contempt.
“You again! How did you find me here?”
“Are you stalking me?” she asked angrily, her voice sharp.
"What are you doing here?" Ethan frowned.

They were looking to explore other options as they had no faith that they would get an ally anymore.“I think we need to face the reality of the situation.” Margaret Whitman said with a deep sigh, and her eyes flicked between her son, Andrew, and her husband, Henry.“We can’t continue to wait and hope that a big family will change their minds and decide to ally with us.” Margaret added in a somewhat dejected tone.“What are you suggesting, mother?” Eloise asked carefully as she glanced at her mother-in-law warily, as she could sense where the conversation was headed.“I think we should sell our ownership stake in the company. We’ve built it up enoug

The Whitman family is the first name on the list, and your family was awarded a very coveted business contract by the Crestwood family! The days went by quickly, and in the blink of an eye, two days had passed since Vivienne’s charity party.
