Tears mixed with the grime from the dirty water on Nathan's face as he tried to put as much distance between himself and the house as he could.

He felt embarrassed and uncomfortable as he made his way to the bus stop, but he had no other option - his home was too far away to walk, and he didn't have enough money for a taxi.

The driver and assistant immediately noticed the odor when he stepped onto the bus. The driver wrinkled his nose and stepped back while the assistant covered her mouth and nose with her hand.

Driver: "Sir, you need to get off the bus. The smell is making everyone sick."

Assistant: "It's not safe for everyone if you’re on here like this."

Nathan tried to explain his situation, but the driver and assistant were not moved. They told him that he would have to leave the bus immediately. Two other passengers on the bus agreed with the driver and added their comments:

"Looks like this guy dived the dump. And now he’s a dump guy.”

"I don't understand why he got on the bus with his looks. He should be reincarnated."

Nathan was embarrassed and felt like everyone was staring at him. He had never felt so alone and rejected.

Nathan stepped off the bus to make it home, even if it meant walking.

Nathan walked with his head down, avoiding the gaze of those on the street. Despite his efforts to keep clean, his clothes became increasingly stained, and the odor grew more assertive. The rain had made the roads muddy, making it impossible to avoid getting even more dirt on his clothes. The smell was becoming overpowering.

People on the street gave him disgusted looks, some even covering their noses. The windy weather made it difficult to keep his clothes in place, adding to his discomfort. The city felt like a hostile environment, with everyone judging and disapproving of him.

The journey was taking a toll on Nathan's already low self-esteem, making him more self-conscious. The dirty roads, harsh weather, and disapproving looks seemed to stretch forever, with no end in sight.

Just as he was about to give up and collapse from exhaustion, a girl pulled beside him in her car.

"Nathan! Get in!" she called out the window.

Nathan was shocked that it was Matilda Hamilton, the most popular girl in school and a wealthy family member. She was one of the few people who didn't bully him and was his only friend.

As soon as he was settled in the car, she turned to him and asked, "What happened to you?"

Nathan felt embarrassed and refused to answer, not wanting to reveal that he was a cleaner and that someone had dumped a bucket of dirty water on him with her.

Fortunately, Matilda didn't push the issue. Instead, she invited him and said, "I just wanted to personally invite you to my birthday party tomorrow night."

Nathan hesitated, unsure of what to say. He felt a twinge of fear at the thought of attending such a high-class event, but at the same time, he was flattered that Matilda had thought of him.

"I don't know," he said quietly. "I don't think I'm good enough to go to something like that."

Matilda gave him a warm smile. "Nathan, you're good enough for anything. Just think about it, okay?"

With that, she chatted with him on the way back to his apartment. Nathan was grateful for her kindness, and his day's pain was significantly reduced.

Nathan arrived at his small apartment. He was relieved to be home.

He took a shower and changed into clean clothes, feeling refreshed and renewed.

Suddenly, the sound of his phone ringing echoes through the bathroom. Nathan quickly turned off the water, grabbed a towel, and rushed to answer the call. It was his boss.

"Nathan, we need to talk," his boss said sternly.

Nathan felt a knot in his stomach, knowing this couldn't be good. "What's going on?" he asked cautiously.

"I received a complaint about your work," his boss explained. "One of the employees is unhappy with your cleaning services."

"But that's not true," Nathan protested. "You know I worked very hard. But at this time, they don't see me as a cleaner. They see me as something worse…."

"I understand that you've been working hard," his boss said, "but it doesn't change the fact that the work wasn't completed on time."

Nathan tried to explain the situation, but his boss seemed uninterested in hearing his side of the story. "I'm sorry, Nathan, but the decision has been made. You'll need to turn in your keys and clean out your desk. Your employment is being terminated."

Nathan could hear the annoyance in his boss's voice as he spoke. His boss was more interested in getting rid of an employee than finding out the truth.

Feeling frustrated and wrongly accused, Nathan ended the call and threw the phone on the bed. He was filled with anger and disappointment over his unfair treatment.

Today has been a rough day for Nathan. Recalling the events of the day only added to his heartache. And now, with the added worry of how he will pay for everything without a job, Nathan's suffering has reached new heights.

Just as Nathan was desperate, a text message came from his phone.

At first, he thought it was just spam SMS, but when he read the words: your bank account balance has increased to 100,000,000 dollars, Nathan's mouth gaped despite the tears still rolling down his cheeks.

100 million dollars?
