Brutal Humiliation

Lilly left with Lucas to where she parked her latest Jeep. Most people who had seen her driving such a big car kept wondering how a female would choose that type of car, but knowing she didn't care about anybody's opinion. What she always did was to make herself Happy.

She took Lucas to her car and she forbade her driver from driving them. Her reason was that she wanted to be in the car alone with Lucas because she wanted to discuss something with him. She entered the driver's seat while Lucas stayed beside her.

She asked Lucas if he would like to listen to some music, while he nodded positively. She put on the music and they headed to a luxury restaurant in the city. The restaurant was visited by people of high Caliber in the city. The setting was like that of a five-star hotel. Only the rich could afford the kind of hospitality rendered in the restaurant. It was situated at the center of the city for easy access.

Lilly shook her head and murmured to the beat of the music she was playing. She was dancing to the rhythm of the song while driving. Sometimes, she would handle the steering with one hand. Lucas was not scared, he could see she was a professional driver. Despite all this, she didn't lose focus on the road. Lucas was watching her with keen interest. She was very happy.

A little while later, they arrived at the restaurant. Lilly reduced the volume of her music in order not to disturb other customers. She looked for her special spot where she usually parked her car, so she asked Lucas to enter the restaurant first.

" Lucas, can you go in first? I need to park this car in the right spot. I will meet you in a jiffy", she said, then Lucas alighted from the car.

Lucas admired the front view of the restaurant before walking to the doorman. He was going to explain to the guy who sent him in the first place. He planned to make mention of Lilly's name but the doorman yelled at him because of his appearance.  He didn't even listen to him at all, he just denied him access.

" Are you nuts? What does this place look like to you? This place is not meant for beggars, so I will advise you to leave now, Gosh! You stink man", the doorman said.

Lucas realized he was still in his shabby clothes. He hadn't had time for himself since yesterday. A series of events had occurred which made him not to settle down and think of his present state. He hadn't taken a shower nor had a change of clothes since his ex-wife and his mother kicked him out of the house. He didn't even care about his appearance all day. What he was after was to be free from his ex's and her mother's bondage.

Lucas was extremely angry. He knew his clothes looked shabby which made his appearance not inviting, but the doorman's action had lowered his self-esteem. He could see he was someone who looked down on people.  Everyone had freedom of speech, he could have listened to what he had to say before concluding. He made another attempt to explain his purpose of being in the restaurant and who he came with;

" Calm down Mr, I'm here based on an instruction by Miss Lilly Rowland. She asked me to come here, so allow me to enter. " Lucas explained

" You must be joking man, you are here on whose order? Miss Rowland. Miss Rowland cannot move nor associate with a beggar like you. So move your disgusting self away from here. Do not send our customers away with your horrible appearance. Leave!!! Before I called the security " the doorman was still adamant after hearing Lilly's name from Lucas. He refused to believe Lilly could mingle with this beggar before him.

The manager came out as he heard the commotion outside of his office. He was dressed neatly and he looked presentable. Lucas was happy to see him, at least he would hear him out. He rushed out to settle any matter that was causing the commotion but as he set his eyes on Lucas, he frowned and became confused.

" How could a beggar like him come to a big restaurant like this? Was he lost or was he looking for someone? Or maybe he was sent on a mission "  He thought.

" Hello young man, how can I help you?" He asked.

" Miss Lilly Rowland asked me to come here, sir. We came together and she asked me to go in first. She would soon be here she just went to pack her car" Lucas explained

" Are you insane? Is this the new tactic of con artists? You are here to test your newly developed gimmick right? Well, you failed. Get the hell out of here before I call the cops, you this fraudster", the manager flared up getting angrier when he heard Lilly's name. Her family owned the restaurant. The restaurant was a subsidiary of Rowland's Enterprise and it was under the management of Lilly herself. So how could she bring a lowlife to her place?

" You cannot succeed here, so leave. You can't come here to cheat for food. I know your kind."

He moved to force Lucas out of the premises by slapping him, but Lucas held up his hands angrily. He had already gained much strength from the knowledge of the martial arts. He held the hand of the manager so strongly that the sound of bone cracking could be heard. He made sure he squeezed his hand to punish the man. He transferred all the anger he felt into the hand he was holding, so his victim was feeling severe pain.

" The audacity of this man to raise his hands at me? Does he think I'm a weakling or someone he can beat anyhow? I'm sure he didn't see this coming, " Lucas wondered. 

The manager felt the pain and he started threatening Lucas.

" What do you think you are doing, leave my hand now before I call the cops young man. You cannot come to my place of work to bully me" he was trying to be brave, but when he couldn't bear the pain, he shouted in agony.

" Security! Security! Damn, where are these guys? Security!? He yelled painfully at the top of his voice. It's high time he needed their help. He wanted them to rescue him from the villain who had decided to render him armless.

" Security!"
