Bima froze for a moment, feeling the pulse in his temples throbbing wildly. In front of him, a group of men in black tactical gear with silver skull emblems had already surrounded them. The sound of boots crunching on the wet asphalt was intimidating. Rina was in a perfect combat stance, the dagger in her hand reflecting the dim glow of the streetlights.
[Warning: Heart rate increasing. Blood oxygen decreasing. Host must immediately execute the enemy using level one destructive power to avoid elimination.]
"Shut up, System! I'm not killing anyone," Bima whispered under his breath.
One of the men in black stepped forward. He pulled out a stun baton that crackled with blue sparks. "Hand over the object, Miss. And you, kid, you'd better back off before we put a hole in your head."
Bima felt a strange urge in the palms of his hands. It was an irrational heat sensation, as if energy wanted to burst out of his pores. He looked at Rina; her face was incredibly calm despite the imminent danger. Without warning, Rina lunged. Her movements were lightning-fast, like a shadow dancing among the attackers. A spinning kick landed squarely on the first man's chin.
Bima had no choice. He had to act. He ran toward the crowd, not to throw a punch, but to do something completely ridiculous. He grabbed a discarded paint bucket near the wall, snatched a can of thinner from a pile of trash, and poured it onto the street right under the feet of the remaining attackers.
"Hey! What are you doing?" one of the men shouted before his feet lost traction.
Bima tossed the bucket aside and flipped an exposed street lamp switch on a nearby metal pole. A small electrical spark ignited the spilled thinner. The flames caught instantly, creating a small wall of fire that separated Rina from the rest of the attackers.
"Run!" Bima shouted, pulling Rina by the hand.
Rina seemed surprised by the dirty but effective tactic. They sprinted away toward the dark city park. Bima didn't stop until they reached a park bench hidden deep behind thick bushes. They were panting heavily, their bodies pressed together in the cramped space.
"You... you used thinner to make a fire trap?" Rina asked between short breaths. Her eyes searched Bima's with a mix of admiration and confusion.
Bima let out a small laugh even though his heart was still pounding. "That's called efficiency, Rina. Why fight when I can make them slip and scare them with fire?"
Rina gave a faint smile. She wiped the sweat from her forehead with the back of her hand. "You're so strange. Most people would try to punch or kick. But you? You just rearranged the city layout into a nonsensical battlefield."
"At least we're safe, right?" Bima gazed at Rina's face, illuminated by the moonlight. They were so close that there was almost no space between them. Bima could smell Rina's perfume mixed with the scent of the night dust. A strange surge of passion began to swell in his chest.
Rina didn't look away. Instead, she leaned closer, her fingers brushing Bima's disheveled collar. "Yes, we're safe. For now."
Suddenly, Rina accidentally nudged a small bag tucked under her jacket. A golden ID card fell to the ground, right between the wooden slats of the bench. Bima quickly snatched it up before Rina could notice. It was a card featuring the logo of the Secret Vigilante organization.
[Evil Points increased: 100 points. Analysis: You have successfully stolen an enemy agent's identity. You are a talented criminal, Host!]
Bima hid the card in his pants pocket with a smooth motion. He looked at Rina, who was still unaware of her loss. "Rina, you look beautiful in this light."
Rina fell silent. Her cheeks flushed. She hadn't expected Bima to be so bold after that ridiculous stunt in the alley. "Don't try to charm me just to distract me, Bima. I'm still suspicious of what you're actually hiding."
"I'm not hiding anything," Bima replied, even though his hand inside his pocket was clutching Rina's ID card.
"Really?" Rina leaned in again, staring intensely into Bima's eyes. "Then why are your hands shaking?"
Bima swallowed hard. He felt the system acting up again. This time, a holographic screen appeared before his eyes with large red letters.
[Urgent Task: Kiss the target now to disrupt her concentration and steal more information about the vigilante headquarters!]
"System, stop!" Bima shouted in his mind.
"What did you say?" Rina asked suspiciously.
"Nothing," Bima answered, his voice turning raspy. He couldn't hold back anymore. He looked at Rina's slightly parted lips. The urge to touch her was so great it outweighed his fear of the system's threats.
Bima took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and gathered the courage to lean in. He wanted to feel that warmth. Just as their faces were only centimeters apart, the sound of police sirens echoed from a distance, shattering the tension-filled atmosphere.
Rina snapped out of it immediately. She pulled away from Bima, her expression turning cold again. "The police are coming. We can't stay here."
Bima felt a wave of disappointment, but he nodded anyway. "Sure. But, Rina... will we meet again?"
Rina stood up, straightening her jacket. She looked at Bima with an enigmatic gaze. "Of course, Bima. I have many questions for you, and I think you're still holding onto something that belongs to me."
Rina turned and disappeared into the darkness of the park before Bima could respond. Bima stood alone by the park bench, reaching into his pocket and touching Rina's ID card still stored there.
"Damn it," Bima muttered. He had just tied his fate to a hunter who was supposed to be his enemy.

Bima looked up at the cloudy night sky. He knew his journey had only just begun. Suddenly, he heard the sound of footsteps approaching from behind the trees. It wasn't the police. The sound was heavy and rhythmic, like a hunting party. Someone or something was watching them from behind the bushes.
Bima spun around, ready to face whatever threat emerged from the dark. A tall shadow stood there, holding a scanning device that glowed dimly toward Bima.
"Found you," the deep voice echoed through the quiet park.
Bima was stunned. He felt the system in his head begin to vibrate violently, as if he were facing something far stronger than a mere human. Before Bima could react, the shadow lunged at him with unnatural speed.
Bima tried to dodge, but his legs felt heavy, as if the gravity around him had become thousands of times stronger. He fell face-first to the ground, his eyes wide as he saw the mysterious figure standing right over him with a dagger ready to plunge into his heart.

The once-raucous orphanage hall instantly fell as silent as a grave. The children, who had been cheering moments ago, were now frozen with their mouths agape.
