Swordsman

Zhang Xiang Zhe ran with all his might out of the pavilion to avoid his three uncles, who could faintly be heard very loudly calling his name from inside the pavilion. But that did not make Zhang Xiang Zhe stop his pace; even the pain and blood dripping through the robe he was wearing did not deter him from continuing to run. Zhang Xiang didn't care where he was going; he just followed where his feet would take him. After almost thirty minutes of running, he felt that he had gotten quite far from the pavilion. Zhang Xiang stopped his steps right in a forest. Who knows what forest, and where he is right now, all he needs right now is to rest for a while.

Zhang Xiang held his stomach, which was in pain. As soon as he looked down, removing a bit of the robe he was wearing, it turned out that the wound from the sword stab from the scorpion demon had reopened. Just as Zhang Xiang was about to wipe away the blood and replace it with a new cloth, there was a crowd of people calling his name. Zhang Xiang immediately ran back, but unfortunately, his movement was not fast enough. Several soldiers intercepted him, and they surrounded Zhang Xiang.

"Young master, please come back! Lord Zhang Yong is waiting for you in the pavilion."

Zhang Xiang shook his head firmly while clenching his hands into fists. "No! I don't want to go back to the pavilion!" He said it firmly.

Without further ado, several soldiers came forward and tightly restrained both of Zhang Xiang's wrists. With the sudden movement, Zhang Xiang continued to rebel, stomping his hands in the air and trying to remove the restraints, but to no avail. His strength was not strong enough to fight against his uncle's soldiers.

"Hahahahha!!! Master, master, never mind! It's better to go back with us than to rebel even though you won't be able to, because your strength is not strong enough to fight us!" One of the soldiers mocked Zhang Xiang.

"NO! I don't WANT TO GO WITH YOU! LET GO!"

"Take the young master!"

"Don't take him!"

A young man who suddenly came out of nowhere. It was clear that right now the young man dressed in a white-colored robe with a sword behind his back was standing in front of Zhang Xiang.

"Who are you? Don't interfere!"

The young man smiled fiercely at the soldier. He would not be afraid of a man, let alone just a warning from the mouth. Tens of thousands of people had died at his hands, and even all the soldiers under him had died at his hands directly. This man was Jin Long, the head of the Kaypang sect from the Five Flower Lake. Jin Long himself was famous for his ferocity in killing opponents; he didn't look at caste or sect because killing people was his hobby. Hua San's warriors should have recognized the young man in front of them, but in reality, they didn't recognize him at all.

Jin Long smiled sarcastically when he realized that they didn't recognize him, which he could use to save the young man in front of him.

"Let go of this young man and go!"

"Attack...!!!"

Jin Long was surprised by their impromptu attack, so he quickly grabbed the white sword behind his back and countered their attack alone. But before that, Jin Long saved Zhang Xiang first and asked him to run as far away as possible.

"Uncle!"

Go, young man, don't imitate Uncle!" It's very dangerous here!"

"But-"

"GO!"

Zhang Xiang nodded his head in fear and ran as fast as he could to leave the unknown young man who was fighting against his uncle's soldiers. It turned out that the two soldiers did not just let Zhang Xiang go; they chased after the running Zhang Xiang. However, it didn't take long for the two soldiers to be attacked by Jin Long, and the one-on-six battle became heated. Killing dozens of people in a matter of minutes is easy, let alone fighting six people. It was a piece of cake for Jin Long, as the white sword that had witnessed so many lives die in his hands was now in action.

In one fell swoop, fresh blood would flow from the flesh. Several warriors had already felt the pain of a white sword hitting their skin, until one warrior leader couldn't stop attacking Jin Long. They both took out their swords to fight, until at one point the warrior leader collapsed to the ground because the tip of the sword stuck in his abdomen.

Srek...

Sring...

"Never underestimate others! You think you're great?"

Jin Long left them lying with blood pouring out of their bodies. There were even some soldiers who had died from the ferocity of the sword he used. Jin Long hurried to find Zhang Xiang's whereabouts until he came to the shore of the lake, where it was pitch black with only the moonlight shining through.

Zhang Xiang was sitting on the roots of a huge tree. As soon as he saw the young man coming to help him, he stood up straight and bowed his body to pay his respects.

Seeing that, Jin Long immediately cleared his throat while thinking to himself about the young man in front of him. Being so polite to him, not to mention that his face still looks very small, with a body shape that has no muscles at all. But what distracted Jin Long were the blood stains on the clothes Zhang Xiang was wearing.

"Your wound looks really bad," Jin Long said suddenly.

That made Zhang Xiang instantly straighten up and cover the wound on his body with his hand.

No, uncle, I'm not hurt," Zhang Xiang replied nervously.

"Uncle! Thank you for helping me earlier; if you hadn't come, I don't know what would have happened to me," Zhang Xiang said, changing the subject so that Jin Long wouldn't discuss his wound.

"If you can't defend yourself, it's better not to go alone!" Jin Long spoke in a cold tone.

While Zhang Xiang was only silent while nodding his head obediently. Until a few seconds later, Jin Long asked Zhang Xiang another question.

"Where do you live? I'll take you. It's dangerous for a child to go out alone at this time of night; someone will attack you, and you won't be able to defend yourself!"

Zhang Xiang sighed softly. Again, the martial arts sounded in his ears. With this incident, Zhang Xiang was even more convinced that he had to learn martial arts to protect himself from enemy attacks.

"Uncle! Actually, it was my uncle's soldiers who wanted to take me back, but I don't want to go back!" Zhang Xiang replied hesitantly.

"Why?"

"I want to travel to find a teacher who can train me in martial arts. I've been insulted enough by my three uncles for being useless, and I've also been hit many times by enemies but can't retaliate."

"What made you want to learn martial arts?"

"I wanted to prove to my three uncles that I'm not a weak man; I can do martial arts. In the future, when I am able to do martial arts, I will utilize my skills to help others and defend the truth!" Zhang Xiang replied confidently.

Jin Long looked pityingly at Zhang Xiang. Many children out there have mastered various moves to protect themselves, but this young man in front of him could not do anything; even from his physique alone, it could be guessed that Zhang Xiang did not have any strength. But to Jin Long's astonishment, where did this kid come from? And what sect did his family belong to if they did not introduce him to martial arts?

But Jin Long did not want to interfere with the problems of the young man in front of him; he himself had goals that had not yet been achieved. His goal of traveling was to find peace and enjoy a real life without killing others, but for the umpteenth time, he still killed people just to help the young man in front of him.

Jin Long patted Zhang Xiang's shoulder lightly. "Cheer up, young man! You still have a long way to go; hopefully one day you will find a teacher who can help you!"

Zhang Xiang nodded confidently. "I will. What is my uncle's name?" he asked boldly.

"Jin."

After saying that, Jin Long walked away, but Zhang Xiang immediately chased after Jin Long and followed behind him.

"Uncle Jin, can you help me learn martial arts?" asked Zhang Xiang while matching Jin Long's pace.

"I can't, because I'm just an ordinary person!"

"Is uncle lying? Just now I saw that you can handle soldiers, so I think you can help me."

Jin Long did not respond. He was still focused on his steps, and Zhang Xiang also continued to chatter boldly behind Jin Long.

"Uncle, come on, help me; I don't know where to go; this is my first time outside the pavilion."
