Hua San Mountain, Zhang Xing Zhe Residence

Sring... Sring...

"Akkkhh!!!"

"Ahahahahhaha!!! Look at Han Ying. Is this what you call a sect successor warrior?"

"Tsk! Damn, Zhang Xing! You stupid kid, why are you doing nothing, huh?"

A teenager was lying on the ground, grimacing in pain while holding his lower right abdomen, which was currently oozing blood. He is Zhang Xiang Zhe, commonly called Zhang Xiang, the only son of the successor of the Hua San sect with the nickname of the useless warrior. Tonight, the Hua San Mountain came under an impromptu attack from another sect that was already a sworn enemy of the Hua San Sect because it wanted to seize the power to change hands with it. But that will never happen, as long as there are successors in the sect. They were a swarm of scorpions with poisonous venom that never gave up on attacking the Hua San sect, especially since they already knew Zhang Xiang's weakness and could not do anything.

This was not a one-time occurrence, there had been consecutive instances of impromptu attacks before. However, they did not harm Zhang Xiang, so tonight they dared to do all this by taking advantage of the opportunity. While his three uncles were busy fighting, the scorpion leader broke into the pavilion to look for Zhang Xiang's hiding place. Fate was not on his side; when he wanted to look outside, it turned out that the chief scorpion attacked him from behind. Since Zhang Xiang could not defend himself, the sharp and shiny sword managed to pierce Zhang Xiang's thin skin.

The uncle, who had been busy fighting, immediately stopped his activities when he saw that his nephew had fallen on the floor while holding his bloodied body parts. Han Ying, the second uncle, cursed loudly at the useless Zhang Xiang.

Without waiting for further ado, first uncle Zhang Yong Gang and third uncle Jing Beiyuan attacked the scorpion master brutally. The white sword that characterized Zhang Xiang's family lineage came out. While the second uncle took Zhang Xiang into an underground room that became a hiding place, Han Ying came back out and helped his two brothers fight against the scorpion master.

The battle to shed blood was still continuing, as were the soldiers at the front, who were still busy attacking each other. In fact, many had already left and were injured due to the hot fights tonight. Until a few seconds later, the three of them ganged up on the lone scorpion chief, who felt overwhelmed and, in the end, fled to invite his followers to return immediately. They left some of their soldiers lying with blood on their bodies.

Zhang Yong Gang ran to the basement to see how his nephew was doing, followed by Han Ying behind him. While Jing Beiyuan looked at the situation outside the pavilium area, which was very chaotic.

"Soldiers! You take care of these corpses; clean up all this mess!"

"Yes, sir!"

In the basement, Zhang Yong rushed over to his nephew, who was leaning against the stone wall, holding his stomach. Apparently, the wound on Zhang Xiang's abdomen had been bandaged with torn cloth so that the blood would not continue to flow. Zhang Yong looked sadly at his nephew, patting Zhang Xiang's shoulder lightly.

Puk...

"Zhang Xiang!"

"Pa-uncle?"

The first uncle smiled. "Are you okay?" he asked.

Zhang Xiang nodded. "I'm fine, uncle. Why are you here? Has the evil demon left?" asked Zhang Xiang as he looked around for the poisonous scorpion demon.

"They've already left."

"Tsk! Zhang Xiang!"

Suddenly, Zhang Xiang raised his head to face the source of the voice, which came from a dashing young man who was currently crossing his arms in front of his chest. Zhang Xiang stared at the young man with a fearful gaze.

"How many times have you said that if there is an attack, hide immediately? Haven't you reminded me many times? Why don't you ever listen to your uncle? Do you think you can fight them?" Han Ying asked with a fierce tone. Then she chuckled softly as she continued. "Have you forgotten that you can't do anything?"

"ENOUGH HAN YING!"

"You can't insult Zhng Xiang; he's your nephew, your brother's son; why can't you be a little polite to him?" Zhang Yong was the eldest brother among them.

Whenever Han Ying blames Zhang Xiang, it is definitely her first uncle who always defends her; among the three uncles, only Zhan Yoang really cares. Han Ying himself had memorized the character of his brother, who clearly continued to defend his useless nephew.

"Tsk! You're always defending that useless nephew. Where did I go wrong with my words? I spoke according to the facts. In reality, Zhang Xiang can't defend himself, can't do anything, and is useless!"

"Zhang Xiang is still young; it doesn't mean he can't improve someday!"

Han Ying let out a smirk. "Useless child! No matter how long it takes, it will be useless!"

While Zhang Xiang just looked down while clenching his hands into fists, his face was bright red, and his heart was aching at the insults that came out of his second uncle's lips. Zhang Xiang wanted to fight back, but he was not brave enough to fight back because he realized that they had been the ones who took care of him and raised him. If he dared to fight back, where would be his manners as a nephew to the parents who had raised him to this level? Zhang Xiang could only hold his anger in silence until his uncle, who realized his silence, immediately pulled Zhang Xiang's arm forcibly and asked him to stand up.

Srekk....

"Stand up! Men must be strong! Men must not fear blood!"

"You are the successor of the Hua San Mountain Sect; many warriors were born from this sect with their prowess. It would be a shame if other sects saw their future leaders like this!" Hasn Ying said, firmly gripping Zhang Xiang's shoulder.

Not only that, but the second uncle also straightened Zhang Xiang's body tightly, then gave Zhang a sudden and frontal punch to the stomach that made Zhang Xiang fall to the ground.

Bugh...

"Akkhhh!!!"

"Get up! A man cannot be weak!" Han Ying shouted loudly.

"Wake up!!!"

"That's enough, Han Ying! Enough! If you want to teach your nephew, this is not the way to do it," said the third uncle, blocking Han Ying, who was about to beat up Zhang Xiang.

"It's useless for your father to have a descendant like this! Having a child is useless! Weak! Cowardly! Afraid of blood! What kind of man are you, huh?"

Zhang Xiang clenched both his hands very tightly. His anger could no longer be contained; his uncle had gone too far against him, and his uncle's words pierced Zhang Xiang's heart.

"It's already Han Ying; she's still a kid."

"Tsk! Small? Even the warriors out there are five years old and can already do martial arts, and he's what? What can he do? It took him so long to learn to walk; I'm sure he'll be like this forever!" Han Ying said mockingly:

Zhang Xiang could no longer listen to his uncle's words. He quickly got up from his seat, then raised his head to stare at his second uncle with a fierce look.

"I can't do martial arts because no one taught me! If the kids out there have been able to do it since they were young because their parents taught them, I haven't! In fact, until this moment, no one wants to teach me!"

"Because we believe you can't!"

"It's not like that, Zhang; I just want you to be more mature," said the first uncle.

Zhang Xiang smiled mockingly. Fine, if my uncle won't teach me martial arts, I'll go find a teacher; even if it's at a different school, it won't be a problem!" Zhang Xiang then ran out, leaving his three uncles behind.

"Zhang Xiang! Come back!" The first uncle shouted very loudly.

"Tsk! Leave it alone; he'll come back too! How dare that useless kid go far?"

The first uncle glared into his eyes, then went to chase Zhang Xiang out of the pavilion as quickly as possible, as Zhang Xiang's running was getting faster.
