Vera's eyes snapped open as she felt drawn to reality by a familiar voice. She looked around to see where she was, but was stunned to see herself on the floor beside Evan's office door.

“What happened to me?" She frowned as she tried to get up but noticed that her legs weren't responding to her.

She was just about to stand up again when a strong pair of arms held her from moving. She frowned and was about to complain when she realized that it was Evan that held her.

“Is everything okay, Vera? You passed out," Evan asked softly, but one could hear the worry in his voice.

Vera stared at him blankly but after she realized what he said, she gazed down at her leg and sighed lightly.

Her shoulders felt numb and she could feel the throbbing pain attempting to tear her head apart.

“I saw… a light,” She frowned as she felt something was wrong. This felt like a deja Vu almost as though it has happened before.
