Chapter 33

What was going on here? Jasper was more confused than ever. Did Alec know Sylvia personally? And if he did does that mean Sylvia knew more about his past than she seemed to let on. Jasper spent the day studying the markings on the wall until he could see the images burned into his corneas when he closed his eye lids. He was impatient for Alec’s return so he could ask him how much about his mate he knew.

Day six

Once the sun disappeared for the night Jasper walked out of his cave and took a look around, annoyed that Alec had not shown up this evening. Not wanting to waste more time thinking about what he couldn’t control Jasper took his leave and headed for the hunter’s house. He hoped that they had not changed their minds and that they were still willing to help him. He planned on trying to talk them out of harming the vampire child, but he was not sure if that will go over well. He had to try though he knew he would never forgive himself if he didn’t after that it was out of his hand
