The martial lord 2 : Endless conquest.

In your eyes, I see endless ambition (1)

Two days quickly passed since the martial lord and others started living in Norton town. The people of Norton town were slightly resistant to their presence at first but as time passed , they discovered how friendly they were and quickly accepted their presence.

In front of a large hall , Tiana was standing with her back turned to an old man that was talking constantly.

Her long black hair fluttered wildly in the air , making flapping sounds.

The sky was already getting dark as night approached.

"Tiana , how many days do you intend for them to stay in Norton ?". Old man Mo who had a flushed face questioned loudly.

Tiana who had her hands folded behind her back sighed softly before she slowly turned.

Her dark eyes that shone like priceless rubies stared deep into the eyes of Old man Mo who stared back without flinching.

"You have been overstepping your boundaries recently ". Tiana said calmly.

"I will let it slide because of what happened recently ". The calm tone of Tiana carried a domineering energy that made the eyes of Old man Mo to narrow.

"Tiana , I watched you grow up ...". Old man Mo started speaking before he was immediately interrupted by Tiana who already had a look of impatience on her face.

"Watching me grow up doesn't change the fact that I'm the current town chief and a domain realm warrior !!". Tiana said coldly.

"Your decisions are endangering the town !!". The voice of old man Mo immediately rose up.

"And I will bear the consequences of my actions !". Tiana retorted with a fearless look on her face.

"The lives of thousands of people are at stake and ....".

"Oh , come off it !!". Tiana raised her hands in exasperation.

"We are reared by the myriad clans as livestock , everyone will still die at one point so it makes no difference ".

"It makes !!". Old man Mo gritted his teeth and said loudly.

"Atleast , the bloodline of the village is preserved !". He argued.

"Preserved ?". Tiana looked at Old man Mo and smiled mockingly.

"For generations , the bloodline has been preserved to continue providing blood energy to the myriad races. What kind of preservation is that ?". Tiana asked with disdain.

"I'm the 2,004th town chief so counting it , let's say over two thousand generations has been serving the myriad like reared livestock !!".

The words of Tiana made the expression of Old man Mo to change slightly as he swallowed the words that he wanted to speak before.

"Over the years , we have experienced so many painful things that we are already numb to it ". Tiana looked at the sky and said faintly.

"Is this really the kind of life we want to be living ?". Tiana sighed as she wiped the tears on her eyes.

"We don't really have any choice ". Old man Mo sighed softly and said.

His eyes contained immense sadness as the wrinkles on his face folded slightly.

The strength of the human race was really too weak !.

In the entire town , only the town chief was allowed to have a high cultivation and as for others , the higher your cultivation , the quicker you get selected so many people decided not to cultivate at all in their entire lifetime.

"Don't worry , they will soon leave ". Tiana said slowly before her figure vanished.

The figure of Old man Mo stood motionlessly for a while before he shook his head and departed with slow steps.

Across a wooden table in a dim room , five figures were discussing loudly .

I was calmly sipping my drink as I watched Alice and Jim argue fiercely.

"The people in this town don't even have any fighting spirit to begin with !!". Alice said loudly.

"You can't really blame , the kind of environment you grow up in influences your mindset ". Jim replied with a calm expression.

"A person born in an environment fraught with wars tend to be more valiant than someone who was born in a comfortable environment " .

"Jim is correct ". Elvis immediately chipped in.

"They were born with the mindset that the Myriad races is superior to them and they were meant to serve them ". He continued.

"The actual problem is not really all these ". Hazel who was leaning back her chair rolled her eyes and said suddenly.

Everyone immediately turned and looked towards her figure before she continued.

"The condition of the human race in this first sky is really pathetic !". She sighed with pity in her voice.

Along the way , they had seen numerous villages that were completely destroyed by the myraid races.

It took them days before they could finally see Norton town which was relatively intact with living creatures.

"We have to change their mindset and we need to give them hope ". She said slowly.

"How do we do that ?". Elvis asked.

"We have to show them that the Myriad races that they fear so much is nothing !". I said slowly from the corner as I dropped the cup in my hand on the table.

"We will start by convincing the town chief because once she is convinced , the entire town is already convinced ". I looked at everyone and said.

"Convincing her will not be easy ". Elvis shook his head and said.

"Don't worry , Hazel will handle that ". I crossed my two legs on the table before I continued.

"The heavenly wolf powerhouses will return here within three days so everyone should be on alert ".

"So what if she doesn't agree to our persuasion ?". Alice asked.

"The possibility of her agreeing is high but if she rejects our proposal , we will slaughter the entire heavenly wolf clan and look for another place to make our base ". I said leisurely as I did not put the heavenly wolf clan in my eyes at all.

Only imperial clans could pique my interest.

"How about the information gotten from the heavenly wolf powerhouse ?". I looked at Alice and asked.

"His information did not differ from what we got from the Sacred Agama lizard clan ". She answered.

"I was not expecting much because the clans are quite similar in terms of rank ". I shook my head and said slowly.

"Hazel , we will wait for your good result ".

"Yes , your majesty ". She immediately vanished from the room.

My eyes seemed to pierce through spacetime and a mysterious smile appeared on my face.

"Such an interesting little girl ". I chuckled softly and slowly said.
