Chapter Eighty two.

"Who the hell is that?" he mumbled, his brow furrowed in puzzlement.

The name clearly didn't ring a bell.

"I need you to bring her to the old store now," Ethan said into the phone, his voice firm and commanding.

"Yes, General," the person on the other end replied, before Ethan ended the call.

He took a deep breath, his mind a jumbled of mess. This was harder than he thought, he realized. He had thought he had all his enemies on track, but now finding out he had an enemy he wasn't aware of was driving him crazy.

Victoria walked up to him, concern etched on her face. "Is everything alright?" she asked, her voice soft and inquiring.

Ethan's expression was tense, his eyes still clouded with thoughts. He turned to her, his voice low and measured.

He gave a curt nod, his eyes flicking to Maria before returning to Victoria. The unspoken message was clear: he didn't want to discuss the matter in front of Maria.
