When Edward was tossed Out of the Eliss's Family

It was raining cats and dogs in South Hampton City. Even the dark sky felt like it was going to crash on the city.

There was a man covered in blood collapsed in the living hall of the Eliss's family's manor.

After the tragedy unfolded, everyone left, leaving him alone.

He was hanging onto his last breath on the floor as he remembered all that he had gone through in the hands of his wife and mother-in-law. All because he was born and brought up in the countryside, he was known as a poor good for nothing who couldn't even bring his family honours.

He wished he was at least cherished by his wife the way she cherished her cat, he would have nothing more to ask for. His chest constricted as his blood formed a pool around him, mixing with the rain.

He knew this was his last and he knew his wish would never come to pass because it was too late.

He couldn't believe he was going to die just by being pushed down the stairs by his mother-in-law. Ofcourse, his wife said nothing because she never cared even a little bit whether he was hurt or not.

Hah!, He chuckled even though there wasn't a single warmth in his eyes.

His lips turned a light shade of dark as he closed his eyes, breathing his last.

Suddenly there was a thunderstorm!

The figure on the ground trembled slightly as the lightning seemed to have been absorbed into his body and when he opened his eyes.

His eyes were an angry shade of red like the devil who just came out of hell. The figure looked around his surroundings in utmost confusion.

That was when Dominick realized something was wrong and frowned hard.

Something seemed to be trying to get into his brain!

He shook his aching head and dazedly looked at his reflection in the water.

There was what seemed like a young man in the mirror. He was tall, slim, and around twenty seven years old, and he had very black eyes. His figure was smooth and accentuated.

His skin was perfect. It was fair like porcelain all over and completely flawless.

That messy dark hair didn’t make him seem decadent at all. On the contrary, it added a luxurious temperament to him and made him look like an eastern vampire royal.

The man’s ear had a black piercing which was exuding a dim light.

Wild, arrogant, handsome!

Anybody who’d seen this man for the first time would think the same thing.

And when Dominick stood up, power and an imposing aura radiated through him.

Dominick closed his eyes. Hr opened them up after a few seconds. Something very mysterious was in his eyes.

He was receiving non-stop information being sent to his brain.

Even though this body had the same appearance and surname name as he did, the situation was totally different.

Edward Dennis was a cleaner at Stanford University, the university his wife, stella currently goes to. Despite the fact that Stanford University was a huge university known world wide, he was still paid pennies every month despite his hard work.

A day wouldn't pass without Edward being disgraced by his own wife who was the queen Beau of the school.

Occasionally she would point her index finger at him saying “Despite being a cleaner, you're still a good for nothing who can't even get an easy task such as cleaning right, the main hall you claimed to had cleaned is just as dirty as you look right now ”

No one in the university knew the cleaner Stella loved insulting every day was her own husband. Infact, Stella had warned Edward that he should never say a word probably because Stella was too ashamed of him.

After earning his payment for a month which was a mere $75, the money would end up getting snatched by his wife and mother-in-law.

They would use it anyhow they felt it Should be used and Edward would end up going to bed hungry.

Edward was beaten and mistreated by his mother-in-law, he turned into a hated house boy at home, in charge of cooking and cleaning in both his house and the university.

The last incident which forced Edward to his own death was that Edward was found forcing himself on his wife, something Edward would never had done in his sane mind.

But he was drugged to a point that he couldn't distinguish between what was right or wrong. It was a ploy made by his own wife and her secret lover to get rid of him.

Edward's mother-in-law had push Edward down the stairs and out of their house despite the fact he had lost a lot of blood and was hanging on a thin line between life and death.

Dominick actually laughed out loud, but his eyes were still cold, and there was a trace of evilness in his deep black eyes.

•••••••

For three days, Dominick stayed in the hospital for check-ups. On the very fourth day, he stopped acting like a weak fragile young man in a hospital shirt.

Dominick had always been very good at adapting.

But there was one thing he needed to figure out.

Who had stabbed him in the back!

Dominick narrowed his eyes, and the temperature in the ward dropped to the freezing point.

And then he smiled again. The angle at which the corner of his mouth hooked up was perfect.

It was as if this person was full of mysteries and disguises.

Dominick didn't walk back into his supposed wife's home, well, he wouldn't be back just yet. He had a very important business to settle first before putting his plans into motion.

Derrick towards the nearest payphone and dialed a weird string of numbers. It rang only once before the call was answered.

The person who answered the call coversed with Derrick in a weird language which was consisted of a numbers and letters.

Through no one's attention was pinned on Derrick and even if their attention was on him, none of them could be able to understand what he was saying.

Soon the call was ended and Dominick walked towards a nearby restaurant, infact, this restaurant was the biggest 5 star restaurants in the whole of San Francisco and once upon a time, he was the owner of the restaurant but now.....

Hah!

It was still his anyways, all he needed to do was to meet his assistant who manages this restaurant for the mean time.

Immediately he was in, he walked towards the female receptionist with a casual smile on his face. “Is your manager available at the moment?”

That was when the female receptionist raised up her head to look at him. The first thing her eyeballs caught about him were his shirt and trousers which were so wet with blood and rain that his clothes glued to his skin.

The smell of blood filled the air to a point that she cringed in both annoyance and irritation. The man in front of her was clearly a poor beggar from the street who couldn't even afford a flip flop since he was barefooted.

“Did you have an appointment with him?” The female receptionist spoke like someone being forced to do so , the resentment in her voice was as clear as day.
