At that moment, Elvis smiled again slow, confident, and filled with quiet pride. Everything was falling into place exactly the way he had envisioned.

Everything pieces were aligning, and he could feel it. The success, the respect, the acknowledgement, the control it was all returning to him.

He turned slowly toward Serenity, his voice calm but laced with assurance. “You don’t have anything to worry about,” he said. “There’s no internal bleeding.”

His eyes scanned her gently from head to toe. “From what I’ve seen,” he continued, “your body is fine. Just worn out. Pushed to the edge. But structurally, you’re okay.”
