Not long after both London and Winston arrived The location, it was a restaurant.

The tension hung thick in the air as London and Winston settled into their seats, their guarded expressions betraying the unease between them.

Then they exchanged curt nods, a mere formality masking the reservations they harbored for one another.

At that moment London leaned forward, his elbows resting on the table.

“Let's cut to the chase, Winston. We both know we're not here to exchange pleasantries.” His voice was low and direct, leaving no room for small talk.

Winston's lips curled into a wry smile.

“Agreed. Damien is the reason we're here, so let's not waste time pretending to be friends.”

London nodded, his eyes narrowing. “I saw something at the restaurant the other day, between you and Damien. There's something going on there, isn't there?” He studied Whisting's face, searching for any flicker of reaction.

Winston's jaw clenched, a subtle indication that London had struck a nerve.

So at that moment, as Elvis stood there his arms crossed and eyes sharp nobody dared speak for a few seconds. The silence wasn’t calm anymore. It was building something. Something heavier than words.Serenity grandfather cleared his throat and quietly asked, “Elvis… since you mentioned all this, can you tell us… why did you come here today? Before the attack happened, why were you here?”“I trust you… and I still do… but these are questions that must be answered. You being here just moments before the attackers arrived it’s too much of a coincidence.”At that moment Elvis tilted his head and smiled not a wide grin, but the kind of smile that had questions behind it.“So now, after I saved everyone, now you want to ask questions?” he said slowly, almost mockingly. “Where were these questions when I stepped into the fire to save your lives? Where were these questions when I gave Serenity a potion that brought her back from the edge of death?”His voice grew harder with every word.“Bu

At that moment Serenity started having a second thought.why didn’t she think about this earlier? Why didn’t she ask the right questions? Why did she just accept everything like a helpless child, as if she didn’t have a mind of her own? What Master George said kept echoing in Serenity’s ears, not because she wanted it to be true but because… it made sense.Everything just happened so quickly.Too quickly. The attack. The chaos. Her helplessness. And then, Elvis… showing up right in that moment. How? She had been trained to sense presence, to recognize energy, to read movement. Yet she felt nothing no hint of his arrival, no trace of his aura, until he stepped in and struck. And even then, it wasn’t a normal appearance. He didn’t look surprised, or panicked. He looked… prepared. Why didn’t she ask? Why didn’t she stop to question:What brought him here in the first place? How did he know this was going to happen? why was he standing behind them, not ahead? How was he so close, yet nob

Hearing what Master George just said, serenity grandfather couldn't believe it, and the look on George eyes said it all.So it is good to point out Elvis that he doesn't care what Elvis has been able to accomplish in his life and he doesn't care what he did here today and he doesn't care anything that has to do with Elvis. But one thing is for sure, he knows Elvis. Elvis is a subordinate and he knows what he is capable of doing. He knows everything. So now he is standing here in front of everybody and he is saying that Elvis is too desperate. He is too desperate to the point that he would do anything to gain power. And from everything that just happened, from everything he just saw, for Elvis using a forbidden technique he never taught him or talked about once, for Elvis standing here with no fear after ending a man’s life and pulling off something that even high-ranked elders couldn’t achieve in that time, for him to have a potion that restored Serenity in less than a minute definite

So at that moment, after Master George pointed a trembling finger at Elvis and made his heavy accusation, the entire room fell into a tense, conflicted silence. But it wasn’t shock that filled the air it was disappointment.Everyone in the room had seen what had just happened. They had watched Elvis arrive in the middle of chaos, confront a dangerous opponent, and save Serenity from certain death. They saw how he calmed the storm with calm hands and a firm stance, they saw him kneel beside Master George and restore his breath when his body was losing the battle against whatever had afflicted him.So when Master George accused him now, the tension wasn’t explosive. It was quiet. Like the heavy silence before thunder. At that moment Serenity’s grandfather finally stepped forward, slowly but with firm conviction. His gaze swept the room before landing squarely on George. “I think we’ve all had enough of this,” he said, his voice calm but steady, like a man who had made up his mind. “I k

So at that moment, just when Serenity was still staring at Elvis in disbelief, trying to understand the power she now felt coursing through her body, a low, grating voice broke through the silence in the room.It was Master George. His voice was weak but sharp enough to cut through the atmosphere like a knife. He sat up slowly, his face pale, his eyes bloodshot, yet his gaze was focused. Angry. Disappointed.“You just made the mistake again…” he muttered, and everyone in the room turned to him instantly.Serenity’s eyes widened. “Master George.”But he raised a trembling hand to silence her, his voice gaining strength with each word.“I told all of you,” he said, eyes moving from Serenity to her grandfather and then landing on Elvis. “I warned you not to take anything from him. Not a word, not a hand, and certainly not a potion.”He tried to stand, but his legs trembled beneath him. Still, with the help of Serenity’s grandfather who immediately walked closer to him for support, he pus

At that moment, Elvis smiled again slow, confident, and filled with quiet pride. Everything was falling into place exactly the way he had envisioned.Everything pieces were aligning, and he could feel it. The success, the respect, the acknowledgement, the control it was all returning to him.He turned slowly toward Serenity, his voice calm but laced with assurance. “You don’t have anything to worry about,” he said. “There’s no internal bleeding.”His eyes scanned her gently from head to toe. “From what I’ve seen,” he continued, “your body is fine. Just worn out. Pushed to the edge. But structurally, you’re okay.”Hearing what Elvis just said Serenity blinked, still lying weakly on the floor, her body stiff but her heart slightly easing. That knot of dread in her chest began to loosen.“You just need rest,” Elvis said again, taking a step closer and kneeling beside her. He pulled out a small, tightly sealed vial from the inside of his coat. A pale golden liquid shimmered inside, glowin
