At that moment Damien leaned back on the couch, the weight of the day settling into his bones. He glanced at Sophia who was still standing a few feet away, watching him with quiet concern.

“I’ve had a long day,” he said, his tone soft but tired. “I think I’ll rest now.”

Sophia nodded slowly.

“Okay…Damien.”

He gave a small smile, said nothing more, and headed toward his room.

Across the city, Serenity was pacing in her room like a storm trapped in a small glass bottle. Her arms were folded tightly across her chest, and her eyes flicked to the floor, then to the window, then back again. Back and forth. Over and over.

She had removed her jacket and tossed it carelessly on the couch, her hair slightly undone—signs of a mind that had not known peace since morning.

“Damien… The Miraculous Doctor apprentice…” she muttered under her breath. It still didn’t make sense.

The image of him flashed in her mind. That cold stare. The way he had always acted like he didn’t care about anything. And

So at that moment, just when Serenity was still staring at Elvis in disbelief, trying to understand the power she now felt coursing through her body, a low, grating voice broke through the silence in the room.It was Master George. His voice was weak but sharp enough to cut through the atmosphere like a knife. He sat up slowly, his face pale, his eyes bloodshot, yet his gaze was focused. Angry. Disappointed.“You just made the mistake again…” he muttered, and everyone in the room turned to him instantly.Serenity’s eyes widened. “Master George.”But he raised a trembling hand to silence her, his voice gaining strength with each word.“I told all of you,” he said, eyes moving from Serenity to her grandfather and then landing on Elvis. “I warned you not to take anything from him. Not a word, not a hand, and certainly not a potion.”He tried to stand, but his legs trembled beneath him. Still, with the help of Serenity’s grandfather who immediately walked closer to him for support, he pus

At that moment, Elvis smiled again slow, confident, and filled with quiet pride. Everything was falling into place exactly the way he had envisioned.Everything pieces were aligning, and he could feel it. The success, the respect, the acknowledgement, the control it was all returning to him.He turned slowly toward Serenity, his voice calm but laced with assurance. “You don’t have anything to worry about,” he said. “There’s no internal bleeding.”His eyes scanned her gently from head to toe. “From what I’ve seen,” he continued, “your body is fine. Just worn out. Pushed to the edge. But structurally, you’re okay.”Hearing what Elvis just said Serenity blinked, still lying weakly on the floor, her body stiff but her heart slightly easing. That knot of dread in her chest began to loosen.“You just need rest,” Elvis said again, taking a step closer and kneeling beside her. He pulled out a small, tightly sealed vial from the inside of his coat. A pale golden liquid shimmered inside, glowin

Without needing to be told, everyone could see it—Master George was poisoned with something they didn't know. There was no doubt anymore. The black veins twisting through his body… the faint, sluggish pulse… the stiffness in his limbs. It wasn’t a normal illness. It wasn’t even battle-related. It was something injected into his system, something silent and deadly. But how? No one had touched him.No one had attacked. And yet here he was—fading by the second.Serenity’s grandfather, who had moments ago spoken with pride and distance, now stepped forward, a note of desperation in his voice.“Elvis,” he said, lowering his tone, “please… please check him. He’s your former teacher. Whatever differences exist between you two this isn't the time to let him just die.”He looked down at Master George, whose body twitched slightly as the black veins continued their slow spread toward his heart.“This sudden fall it doesn’t sit well with me,” he continued, voice tightening. “Something is very wr

At that moment, the heavy silence was broken by Serenity’s grandfather stepping forward slowly, the weight of what had just happened still etched on his face. His eyes, sharp and experienced, lingered on the lifeless body sprawled across the shattered floor before turning to Elvis. His voice, though gravelly with age, held strength and sincerity.“Elvis… thank you,” he said, nodding slowly. “Thank you for coming at the right time. For stepping in when it mattered most.”At that moment he took another step, the gravity of his words tightening.“If you hadn’t shown up…” He glanced briefly at his granddaughter, still breathing but pale and wounded. “Serenity might’ve been gone by now.”Immediately he swallowed his pride something not easy for a man like him.“I’m very grateful,” he said. “For how you risked your life to save hers… to save all of us.”His tone was respectful, if not still laced with distance. But just as the atmosphere began to soften, another voice cut in sharp, unyieldi

At that moment, the atmosphere in the room tightened like a coiled spring. And then the fight began.Without a single warning, the Circle subordinate launched forward with terrifying speed, his foot cracking the ground beneath him from the sheer force of his leap. His first strike a spinning, high-speed palm laced with forbidden flame came for Elvis’s chest like a blazing spear.“BOOM!”But Elvis didn’t flinch. He lifted one hand—just one—and twisted his wrist at the last second, redirecting the entire impact. The force deflected sideways, missing its mark and instead crashing into the wall behind them.“CRACK!”However the wall didn’t just crack—it shattered, the thick, reinforced spiritual bricks exploding outward in a wave of energy, shards flying in every direction like deadly hail. The room shook violently as the floor split beneath the impact. Before anyone could even process what had just happened he attacked again. This time, the man came in lower, faster, his fists glowing wi

At that moment the silence that followed the crash was thunderous.Dust still hung in the air, and the glow from the shattered window flickered across the stunned faces in the room. No one moved. No one breathed.Their eyes every single one of them were stretched wide in disbelief, as if the laws of reality had just bent before them.Because standing above Serenity… was Elvis. The same Elvis who had vanished from public sight. The same Elvis who had once stood in the background like a shadow. The same Elvis who had, until now, never been associated with such overwhelming power. At that moment Master George took a step back, his hand clutching his chest as he blinked rapidly. “Elvis…?”Even Serenity’s grandfather stared in disbelief, his lips parted, unable to speak, unable to comprehend how he of all people had entered the room without anyone sensing it.The tension in the room grew thicker by the second, all eyes locked on the man who now stood tall, calm, and absolutely in control.
