Everyone’s eyes turned to her. Sophia’s fists clenched at her side, her jaw tightening. But her grandfather didn’t pause.

“We have kept quiet too much,” he said. “We have given you too much freedom. Too much leverage. And now, look what you're doing with it—misusing it!”

At that moment he turned away for a second as if trying to calm himself, then looked back at her. “You think you can throw away everything we’ve built for some stranger? You better be mindful, Sophia. Mindful of the way you talk, of the way you behave. Because right now, I am already angry at you.”

London, who had remained quiet for a while, finally stepped forward. His expression was cold, his shoulders squared as he spoke with calm pride.

“I didn’t come here for Sophia to apologize,” he said, voice low and sharp. “I only came here to inform all of you that I am no longer interested.”

"And?"“He told me to pass this message directly to you,” the right-hand man continued. “It concerns the Supreme King.”At the mention of the Supreme King, the king's brother's entire body became alert.“What abo

Hearing what Rebecca just said, Sophia took a deep breath and decided to be more honest.“Well, it's not that it isn't important,” she admitted, looking down at her hands. “It actually is important. But I was trying to handle something on my own.”She looked up at the four women. “The truth is, I wanted to discuss some business matters with someone. My company has been going through some difficult times lately.”Her voice became quieter. “I didn't want to bother Damien with it because he's been so busy recently. I felt uncomfortable bringing my problems to him when he already has so much on his plate.”Sophia stood up and walked to the window. “So I've been trying to handle this myself. But honestly, it doesn't look like I can manage it alone much longer.”She turned back to face them. “That's why this meeting was so important today. I was hoping to find a solution that wouldn't require me to ask Damien for help.”Rebecca studied Sophia's expression carefully. “But now you're think

Her hands were still shaking, but there was determination in her eyes now.“I promise you all something,” she said, her voice stronger than before. “I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure I don't hurt Damien. Everything.”looking at each of the four women in turn. “I know I'm not from your world. I know I'm not powerful like you. But I love him. That has to count for something.”Her voice became more confident. “All the trust you're putting in me right now - I won't betray it. I'll fulfill every bit of it, down to the last drop.”Sophia's eyes were getting watery but she didn't cry. “I'll protect what we have. I'll make sure nothing happens to Damien, or to any of you, or even to myself. Because if something happens to me, Damien would be hurt. And I won't allow that.”She placed her hand over her heart. “This isn't just words. This is a vow. I'm making this promise to all of you right here, right now.”Rebecca studied Sophia's face for a long m

Why are you acting surprised that we trained under him?”Rebecca crossed her arms. “Most people have heard of Master Raymond. But not everyone understands what it means to actually be his students.”Sophia felt like her world was spinning out of control. Her breathing was getting faster.“I... I don't know...” she stammered, looking around the room frantically. She sat down hard on her bed because her legs couldn't hold her anymore.“I don'
