Not long after Damien finally pulled up in front of Sophia’s apartment, the car eased to a soft stop. The morning breeze whispered through the air, but inside the car, silence lingered a little longer than expected.

Then Sophia turned toward him, her hands gently folded over her lap. Her eyes searched his face like she was still trying to understand the man who had turned everything upside down in less than 24 hours.

“Damien…” she started softly, “thank you—again. For everything.”

Her voice held no pretense. Just raw gratitude.

“For protecting me, for staying with me, for following me to that audition—even after everything that happened there. I don’t know what I would have done if you hadn’t been there.”

At that moment he glanced at her briefly, offering only a small nod.

She bit her lip and added, “One day… I’ll repay you. I know you said you don’t want anything, not money or anything like that, but I’ll find something—something that matters to you. Something you’ll actually cherish

At that moment, the Brain, without hesitating, issued a direct order to his subordinates. His voice was sharp and commanding, cutting through the stillness of the room. “Seize Evis' body,” he said. “We need it for further examination. No questions asked.” The words were firm, final, and left no room for debate.Without wasting anymore time the officers immediately moved into action, executing their orders with military precision. They didn’t stop to question or linger; they simply did as commanded, lifting Evis’ lifeless body with cold efficiency. Serenity watched in stunned silence as they whisked him away. It felt surreal, as if the entire room had been stripped of warmth, leaving only a chilling atmosphere of uncertainty. At that moment Serenity’s mind raced. Why had they acted so swiftly? Why had the Brain, usually so deliberate in his approach, seemed so distant, almost indifferent to what had just transpired? It wasn’t just the speed with which they had moved that disturbed her

At that moment, the brain and the rest of the war kings, along with the higher-ranking military officers who were even more powerful than the war kings began walking toward the body on the floor. They said nothing to Damien as they walked past him, their expressions neutral and unreadable. Their focus was on the task at hand, which was to assess the situation and take control. As they approached Evis, the most powerful of the officers, immediately stopped in his tracks. His eyes widened in surprise when he saw Evis lying on the ground. His body, normally filled with immense power, now lay defeated, and there was no sign of life in him.At that moment the rest war king's shock was evident as he slowly knelt beside Evis, inspecting his body. From what he could sense, something was not right. The aura around Evis was strange more powerful than anything he had ever encountered. The power that Evis had accumulated was greater than that of a war king, and to his astonishment, it seemed tha

Standing here, poisoned from the inside, her strength slowly fading away. She never wanted to beg. Not to him. Not to anyone. But her body told a different story. Her knees were trembling slightly. Her breath was unsteady. The energy inside her that had once felt so powerful was now starting to feel heavy… toxic. Her lips parted slightly as if she wanted to speak. But the words wouldn’t come. Before she could say anything, Master George suddenly stepped forward beside her.“Yes,” he said firmly. “She needs help.”Serenity’s eyes widened slightly, caught off guard.“She might not admit it,” Master George continued, his tone serious and sharp, “but if she keeps this thing inside her, if we wait for it to run its course what’s going to happen in three days won’t be something we can fix. It won’t be something we can undo.”He looked Damien directly in the eyes.

At that moment, Damien calmly stepped away from Elvis’s motionless body, the air still humming with the residue of his devastating power. He looked down briefly, then lifted his hands and casually dusted them off, as though everything that had just happened was nothing more than a chore he had finished ahead of schedule.“Well,” he muttered under his breath, his voice carrying an eerie calm, “it seems this ended quicker than I expected. I thought he was actually strong…”There was no gloating in his tone just quiet observation. As if he’d faced countless opponents like Elvis before, and this was merely another name on the list. Another enemy dealt with. Another threat… erased.Across the courtyard, Serenity and her grandfather, Master George, remained frozen. They didn’t blink, they didn’t move. They just stood there, stunned beyond words.Serenity’s hands trembled slightly by her side, her lips parted, but no sound came out.
