On arriving at his hostel,he discovered that everywhere was quiet and no one was left at home.He was surprised that they left for the class on time but when he tried to check his wrist watch he discovered that he had 10 minutes to make it to the class.

Mrs Harper class is a class no one dares to go late for because once she arrives before you you'll be left to wait outside the hall until she's done with the class.

Richard was very well aware of it and he hurriedly left his hostel for the class to see if you can still meet up with the class. He left with his bag and the bag containing the huge sum of money.

5 minutes later you're right at the classroom but he was still late when recharge got to the classroom entrance he felt the whole class staring at him

Mrs Harper was already in the classroom and as usual,Richard will not be allowed into the hall.

“Excuse me!” Richard called out as you stood by the door.

Mrs Harper have been focused on her teachings that she forget to notice

Mrs Harper stopped her teaching and turned to look at Richard.

“Do you have any idea what time it is now? Are you here to learn or to waste away your time”

“Come here, why are you still wearing your waiter's uniform? Are you here to serve us drinks or to take our orders” Mrs Harper ridiculed Richard.

She was aware that Richard worked as a waiter in a restaurant close to the school. It was a restaurant familiar to the students and the lecturers in the school. So everyone was aware that Richard worked as a waiter in the restaurant.

All the students in the class burst out laughing at Richard.

The two who laughed the loudest were Dominic and Jane. They were currently sitting in the last row of the classroom and flirting with each other. The sight of them made Richard feel bitter. That was because when Richard and Jane were still together, she had never sat with him before.

All of his classmate obviously knew about Jane dumping him

Richard was familiar with the Mrs Harperridicule. She will often ridicule him she usually look down on poor students like Richard but try to please the student from healthy families

“Get your miserable self out of my class this instant” Mrs Harpersaid furiously.

Richard had to stay outside the class while Mrs Harpertaught the whole class. He felt very bittered about this as he had made an effort to meet up with the class.

After Mrs Harperwas done teaching she walked towards the door and turned attention to Richard and gave him a stern warning not to come late for her class again or else he would have to repeat her class the next semester.

Richard entered the class after Mrs Harper left.

“Richard, are you alright?” Richard's roommate,Charles, asked after meeting him.

“I'm fine,” Richard replied.

“Where have you been all this while? I have really been worried about you.I have looked everywhere for you but no trace of you could be found”

“It's a long story, Charles but I'm good now,” Richard replied.

“Why were you late?By the way,I heard that you and Jane are no longer together”.

“Oliver, don't bring up something like that,” Charles said with annoyance.

Charles and Oliver often helped Richard in school and Richard was always indebted to them.

Charles and Oliver assumed Richard was in a bad mood, so they did not disturb him further.

The attention of everyone in the class was drawn to a girl who was probably in her early 20s. She was pretty and had a nice figure. Her legs were fair and long. She had a pink short dress and a pair of office shoes which made her look very attractive and beautiful. She was Christabel Wood, the class representative.

Christabel was very kind and innocent. Unlike other girls in a class that looked down on Richard for being Poor.Christabel had never looked down on Richard instead she had looked for ways to help Richard many times.

She had announced that the lecturer that was supposed to take the next class was not around so the class has been canceled.

“We can now have our get-together as a class.Let's do lunch together? ''Christabel said enthusiastically.

The whole class had been anticipating another class get-together.They had really enjoyed the last one they had.

At that moment, Charles ran to Richard and place his hands over Richard shoulder and said “Richard come join us today it's been a while since you join us for a class get together”.

“Charles why inviting that pauper how could he have the money to attend the get together” a girl on a black skirt yelled out.

Richard could not help but lift his head to look at the girl. She was Natasha Bryan,Jane best friend and roommate.

Natasha looked down Richard and often bullied him.A huge part of the reason behind Jane dumping Richard and choosing to be with Dominic was due to Natasha's instigation.

“Exactly how can a pauper like Richard afford to go to a lunch party?”Jane other friend,Isabella John added with sarcasm.

The large, polished windows of Richard's mansion offered a view of the city below. He had spent the better part of the past few weeks reclaiming what was rightfully his, maneuvering through legal battles and business challenges. His empire was starting to rebuild itself, piece by piece, but Richard knew that he couldn’t rest on his laurels. He had far more to give, far more to achieve. As he sat in the warmth of his home, sipping on a glass of water, his phone vibrated in his pocket. An email from the orphanage—the very place that had shaped his childhood, the place where he had learned the true meaning of survival. His heart skipped a beat as he read the subject line: Urgent: Orphanage in Need of Help.Opening the email, Richard felt a pang o

Richard stood in front of his mansion, the cold wind biting at his face as he stared up at the imposing gates. He had been here many times before, but this time, there was no sense of pride or ownership in his heart. Only anger. Anger at Linda for taking everything from him, and anger at himself for being manipulated. He could still hear the echo of her voice in his mind—the way she had treated him, the lies she had spun, and the way she had used his son, Jacob, as a pawn in her game. The gates, once a symbol of power and wealth, now felt like an impenetrable fortress. The guards at the entrance recognized Richard immediately but gave him no special treatment. Linda’s influence had extended far beyond the walls of the house, and the tight security measures she had put in place made it clear that she was prepared for any attempt to reclaim the empire she had stolen. But Richard wasn’t afraid. If anything, the weight of the truth he now held in his hands made him more determined than ev

"What do you mean?"Dr. Matthews looked down at the floor for a moment, as if he were gathering his thoughts. “The results of the DNA test… they were fake.”Richard’s jaw dropped. “What?”The doctor wiped a tear from his cheek before looking Richard in the eye. “I never intended for you to find out like this. But it’s the truth. Linda… she approached me months ago. She offered me a hefty sum to manipulate the results. She promised me a generous reward when she gained control of the Morgan Empire—she said she’d make sure I was well taken care of if I helped her claim the empire as her own.”Richard’s chest tightened. He felt as though the air had been sucked from the room. “So you lied to me. You fabricated the results.
