Lucas didn't give the soldiers a chance to attack as he immediately lunged forward with his sword ready, the runes taking effect as he swung and decapitated three soldiers as his sword sang as it cut through the necks of the soldiers with ease as its wielder spun around as he shot out flames which burned the soldiers as they cried out in pain.

He looked at Kriemhild as she also attacked the soldiers as her sword was also able to cut through their armor and their bodies as the sword was working as he had intended as he smiled to himself as he focused back on the enemies.

The mages were busy putting up shields to deflect the flames from Falkor which only annoyed the wyvern as it roared and increased the speed as it flew through the air and attacked the other soldiers as the mages kept on using shields as they knew that they couldn't lose them.

The archers also attacked the wyvern but it was proving to be ineffective as the wyvern was able to dodge the arrows as they were getting angry at being unable to do anything to do about it.

At this time Aslaug dashed through the enemies as her sword sliced through the soldiers like butter as she grinned to herself at the bloodshed that she was causing to the enemy soldiers.

She sliced a man in half as his two halves fell as she jumped over his dead body as his blood fell on her armor as she didn't mind it, the blood of the enemies was of no concern for her as she went through the soldiers as they cried out in fear and terror as she steamrolled through them.

And Aslaug enjoyed the sound of their fear and their palpable terror at her presence as she laughed out loud as she slammed one soldier on the ground as she crushed his skull with her bare hands as she has a savage grin under her helmet.

"What's wrong? Scared? You're all warriors! Fight to your death! Amuse me!" Aslaug shouted as she lunged forward and stabbed a man through the chest.

'Lady Aslaug seems to be enjoying this a bit too much. I'm just glad that I'm not her target.' Kriemhild thought to herself as she kicked an enemy away.

She was also very happy with the sword that Lucas had given her as she saw how the sword was able to slice through the soldiers pretty easily as she was very surprised at how strong and sharp the sword is, especially the edge of the blade as it is able to cut into enemy sword and armor much more easier than she has been able to do with other swords.

She crossed swords with another soldier as her sword dug into the enemy blade as the soldier was surprised as she did an unorthodox move and kicked him right where the sun doesn't shine. The guy immediately kneeled over as she decapitated him.

'That technique from Lord Lucas was very effective.' Kriemhild thought to herself as she couldn't help but smile.

She glanced at her Lord and saw that he was cutting up swords and armor as he went through the enemies in front of him as she couldn't help but compare how the two of them were. She knew that she had to get stronger if she wanted to be able to do the same as him.

But she focused back on the enemy around her as she swung her sword around to make some space before she lunged forward and sliced off the leg of another as she turned around and sliced the arm off of another as she roared as she killed one more.

Lucas saw how Kriemhild was fighting as he smiled slightly before he picked a man up using his arm and threw him right at the other soldiers as he slammed his hand down and pillars of earth shot up and impaled them as he let out a breath as his eyes widened as he jumped and twisted his body in the air as he narrowly missed the arrows that were aimed at him as he landed on the ground.

'Falkor is keeping the mages occupied, which means that the rest of the soldiers are left for us. But there are a lot of them, and I don't know if I should use more of my magic when there is that mysterious mage.' Lucas thought to himself as he decided to deal with the archers in the invading army.

He increased his own strength as he slammed into the soldiers in front of him as he pushed the soldiers in front of him and he slammed the rest right into the archers who fell down.

'Right now!' Lucas thought to himself as he immediately slammed his hand on the ground.

Immediately spikes of earth emerged and impaled the soldiers as they cried out in pain at the attack as raised his hand and then sent a stream of flames all over the downed enemies.

They felt the flames wash over their bodies as they cried out in further pain as the flames went through the gaps in their armors and burned them with his flames as he controlled the flames as he started to sweat a bit.

But he stopped and saw the burned remains of the enemies as he smiled to himself at the brutal execution of his enemies, as he is sure that it will make the other soldiers become afraid of him as well. But then his eyes widened as he gripped his sword tightly.

'Behind!' Lucas turned around and blocked the great sword that was coming for his neck.

But his eyes widened when he was pushed back by the strength of the soldier as he skid back a bit as his feed dug into the ground as he was surprised.

'Is he some powerful warrior? Why didn't I see him during the war?' Lucas thought to himself in confusion as he grit his teeth.

He pushed the sword back and sliced off the man's elbows which caused him to be armless as he got ready to kill the man, but his eyes widened when the soldier charged towards him and slammed his head right into his chest and used what was left of his arms to hold him.

"Wha!" Lucas was surprised at the sudden attack.

But his head jerked up as he saw arrows and fireballs falling towards him as he opened portals around him as he managed to save himself from the attack.

He then knees the man right on his face, but his eyes widened when the man didn't flinch as he used more strength to push him back. Lucas glared and used more strength and his knee slammed into the soldier's face as he also slammed his elbow down and crushed the man's head.

He cancelled the spell and hauled the dead man's body and charged towards the mages while using the body of the dead soldier as a shield as he ran towards them as he threw the body at them as he disappeared into a portal.

At the same time Aslaug was finding it more difficult to take care of the soldiers than before as they became more relentless and proactive in attacking her as her eyes widened at how they were attacking her. Even if she were to slice off some of their limbs, they would still try to kill her which caused her to feel bewildered.

Kriemhild meanwhile had to run and be on the defensive due to the fact that the soldiers became more aggressive in attacking her and they didn't seem to be fearing death like before which shocked her as she wondered if this was really the same army that she had been a part of as they weren't like this.

She had to block an attack from an axe as she grit her teeth as she felt her arms shake from the force of the attack as her eyes widened at the sudden increase in strength of the soldiers as she was bewildered at the army in front of her.

'What is happening here?' Kriemhild thought to herself in surprise at what was happening.

Lucas meanwhile appeared over the mages as he prepared for attack as they raised their arms to attack him but he was first as he shocked them using lightning magic as he got the chance to attack.

But it was not to be as some of the mages attacked despite being hit by the magic as his eyes widened before he was sent flying from being hit by wind magic as he gasped from the attack as he saw archers ready to shoot their arrows at him as he grit his teeth as he sent a gust of wind at them, only for him to be almost hit by fireballs as he disappeared into another portal as he appeared a bit away from the battlefield as he looked at the enemies.

'Something is wrong with them. This isn't going to be as easy as during the war.' Lucas thought to himself as he narrowed his eyes.
