Arthur was, of course, shocked when they bound his body with extremely strong chains and carried him away from Avtar Palace. He struggled, trying to break free from the chains.
They were clearly not from Avtar Palace—who were they, really?
Arthur was stunned when they revealed their true forms; it turned out they were Wizards.
Wait, why did the Wizards capture him?
“Damn it. Why did you bring me here? I don’t have any problems with any of you,” said Arthur as he tried to break free from the chains binding his body.
The two Wizards gripped the chains even tighter, making it difficult for Arthur to move.
“You’ve made a huge mistake! And you’ve caused trouble for the Witches’ clan. We’re going to seal your powers and send you to a prison in Alaska,” said one of the Witches.
Arthur shook his head, feeling that someone had framed him. He had never bothered the Witches’ clan—in fact, he didn’t even possess any powers yet.
Arthur tried to explain that he had never caused trouble with the Witches’ clan, but the Witches only looked angrier, as if they didn’t believe a word he said.
“Shut up! You’ve been proven guilty. You also intended to deceive Queen Avtar by obtaining the heirloom sword through underhanded means. We all know you possess dark magic that will destroy the Land of Avtar. Before that happens, we will seal you away in Alaska Prison. Alaska Prison will give you the punishment you deserve!”
Arthur, of course, knew about Alaska Prison. Anyone sentenced to Alaska Prison would never be able to leave for the rest of their life; they would essentially die a slow death inside that prison.
It was the most terrifying place of punishment in the Land of Avtar.
These Wizards believed he had committed a grave error, even though he was also a victim. Who exactly had framed him with the Wizard clan?
Arthur suspected that this was the work of the Dragon clan leader, because the Dragon clan leader desperately wanted the double-edged heirloom sword and harbored a grudge against him—since he was the one chosen by that heirloom sword.
The Wizards chanted a special spell to open the gates of Alaska Prison. Arthur watched as the gates of Alaska Prison slowly opened; he couldn’t just stand by and let the Wizards lock him up in Alaska Prison for a crime he never committed.
Arthur closed his eyes and struggled with all his might to break the chains binding his body.
“It’s no use—those chains are incredibly strong. They’ve been coated with the most powerful magic from the Witches’ clan,” said the white-haired Witch.
Panic spread across Arthur’s face as he watched the gates of Alaska Prison open almost completely. If he were imprisoned in Alaska forever, what would become of his mother? He had promised to return home with many gold coins.
Arthur didn’t even think about Queen Avtar, even though his original purpose was to meet her. His thoughts were focused solely on Emely, the elderly woman who was now his mother. If he couldn’t return to keep his promise, his mother would surely be very disappointed.
The two witches used their magic to control Arthur, forcing him to walk through the gates of the Alaskan prison.
“I’m innocent—don’t do this! I don’t even understand what I’ve done wrong to any of you. Someone must be pitting us against each other,” said Arthur.
“You’re clearly guilty! But how dare you not admit your wrongdoing,” growled one of them.
Arthur’s body was thrust forward and he nearly fell inside.
The double-edged heirloom sword appeared, sending a flash of lightning into the sky and sending the witches flying. At that very moment, the chains binding Arthur’s body snapped.
Arthur grabbed the double-edged heirloom sword; thankfully, it arrived just in time before he was completely trapped in the Alaskan prison by the Witches.
The Witches stood up, glaring at Arthur. They looked even angrier when the double-edged heirloom sword came to Arthur’s aid; the Witches were convinced that Arthur had taken control of the sword using dark magic.
“That sword doesn’t belong to you—you must be controlling it with your dark magic. We’ll make sure the sword returns to its rightful owner.” Arthur looked annoyed at those words; even the Witches accused him of using dark magic to obtain the double-edged heirloom sword.
Why didn’t anyone believe he was the rightful Chosen One? Was it because he used to be just a fat man with no powers whatsoever? That’s why the entire clan doubted him.
The Witches combined their magical powers to immobilize Arthur.
Arthur immediately aimed his heirloom sword at the Witches, sending them flying with tremendous force. Of course, the Witches’ power was no match for that of the double-edged heirloom sword. The sword possessed extremely high spiritual energy, which was why so many clans coveted the double-edged heirloom sword.
The sword pointed at the prison gate, and the gate closed again.
“Impossible!” one of the Wizards muttered, staring at Arthur with an inscrutable expression.
Arthur gave a faint smile, then walked closer to the Witches.
“I don’t want to hurt any of you, and I don’t have any issues with the Witch clan, so please don’t bother me!” Arthur tried to warn the Witches in the hope of reaching a peaceful resolution; after all, it was true that he hadn’t done anything wrong, so why should they be at odds with him?
“You say you’ve done nothing wrong to the Witches’ clan? You’re the one who killed our leader and plunged the Witches’ clan into hardship,” one of them growled.
Arthur was, of course, shocked; he’d only been trapped in this comic world a few days ago—there was no way that fat man could have caused trouble with the Witches’ clan.
It was crystal clear that someone had deliberately set him up, making him even more hated by the entire clan.
‘Is this the work of the Dragon Clan leader?’
If it turned out to be the Dragon Clan leader’s doing, he wouldn’t just stand by—the leader’s actions had gone way too far. In the book, the Dragon Clan leader always went to any lengths to bring down the Protagonist and tarnish his reputation.
“You deserve to die! Your mistake was utterly fatal.” One of the Wizards ordered the others to attack Arthur again. Arthur was forced to counterattack with his heirloom sword. The sword strike instantly killed three of the Wizards.
The other Witches looked frightened; their faces tensed.
“You’d better all leave. I truly don’t want to harm the Witch clan. This must be a misunderstanding—I’ll find the real evidence to prove that I’m truly innocent!” Arthur said firmly.
“I swear I’ll find out who killed the leader of the Witch clan.”
The Witches looked at one another; they decided to leave because fighting him would be futile. Their power was no match for the double-edged heirloom sword.
“The Witch Clan is waiting for you—prove that you’re truly innocent!”

There wasn’t a single wild animal in these forests.Arthur smiled slightly when he spotted a village with inhabitants. However, he didn’t rush over there.Arthur watched them from a distance, wondering if they were just ordinary people or if the village was inhabited by a specific clan.
