Trash Son-in-Law's Revenge

The sparkling lights hanging beautifully added to the excitement of the event tonight, all members of the Crowwel family had gathered on purpose to celebrate Mr. Brian Crowwel's 75th birthday party.

Mr. Brian is the head of the Crowwel family, the members of this family respect him so much, they all even prepared gifts well in advance to get Mr. Crowwel's attention.

Mr. Crowwel has not stopped smiling since earlier, he was so happy when he saw his family members gathered, they greeted each other warmly, but Mr. Crowwel's smile slowly melted when he realized that one of the family members had not arrived.

"Where are Merta and her family?" asked Mr. Crowwel while looking around at all the family members.

Not long after, Merta and her family entered the door of this luxurious mansion. The Crowwel family members smiled to welcome their arrival, but the smile disappeared after everyone realized the uninvited guests who were attending tonight's party.

"I told you, there's no need to bring trash like that, look all the family members feel uncomfortable." Merta spoke while glaring at her daughter.

“Mom, Luc is my husband, it’s only natural that he attends tonight’s event, he’s also part of the Crowwel family.” Ruby looked at Luc who was holding her hand, as if asking Ruby to be quiet and not to deny what her mother said.

The person they considered trash had the long name of Lucifer, but they called him Luc.

“Ruby, I thought you had divorced a loser like him,” said Liana who was Mr. Crowwel’s other granddaughter.

“Didn’t we already come, how about the event start soon?” Maike who was Ruby’s father immediately spoke up.

Maike didn’t want to make the head of the Crowwel family angry, she had to immediately divert everyone’s attention.

The applause was so loud after Mr. Crowwel blew out the birthday candles. One by one the members of the Crowwel family began to hand over their best gifts.

"Grandpa, I know you really like coffee, I deliberately bought Black Ivory coffee, this is a rare coffee from Northern Thailand, the price reaches 1500 per 450 grams."

"Grandpa, I deliberately ordered Jadeite gemstones because I know that Grandpa likes to collect gemstones."

"Grandpa, I know you really like cigarettes, I deliberately ordered a lighter coated with rare diamonds for you."

All members of the Crowwel family had given their best gifts to the middle-aged man sitting on his throne, Mr. Crowwel smiled broadly, he was so happy and also satisfied with the gifts given by his family.

“I will grant it, you just choose a house in the Gangnam area.” Mr. Crowwel answered with a smile, buying a luxury house in Korea is not a big deal for him.

Luc clasped his hands together, he was feeling hesitant now, the restless feeling began to be diverted by the vibration on his cellphone, Luc immediately read the incoming text message.

‘In accordance with hospital procedures, we will remove all medical devices used by Mrs. Nani, if today Mr. Luciver does not pay the hospital bill.’ That was the text message that Luc was reading.

"Trash, did you come to celebrate my birthday or borrow money!" Mr. Crowwel cursed loudly, he even stood up from his sitting position.

Zelin, Merta and Maike all turned their faces away when Luc stared at them, while Ruby was still in the toilet.

"What Grandpa said is right, just let the old woman die instead of spending a lot of money." Gabe spoke while putting his hands arrogantly on his chest.

"So the man works, don't beg to pay for your parents' medical expenses, pathetic, trash." Alan spoke while glaring at Luc

Luc clenched his fists in anger after hearing what Mr. Crowwel said, he swore to get back at those who had insulted him all this time.

Luc looked at his old, worn-out cellphone, everyone was laughing. There was a message from an unknown number, Luc frowned then clicked on the message and read it.

"I have paid Nani's hospital bills in full. I will briefly explain Mr. Luciver's true identity. You are the main heir of the Lekston family!
