Chapter 5: Devourer

<A human, not bad. Even though he's old, I can definitely use him for a couple of years before he breaks.> sounded a creepy voice from the statue as black gas spewed out of the small statue and turned into an eyeball that gazed at Leit. 

Leit completely ignored the eye condensed from the smoke and entered the pool of blood and grabbed the small statue, his saliva dripping on the statue. 

<Disgusting human, you dare to spit on a God's Avatar! I'm going to let you feel the wrath of… hey, why are you opening your mouth? Are you trying to bite my Avatar, how foolish, this thing is fused with a wisp of my Divinity, it's indestructible! You're just…>

Crack! Crunch! Crunch! Crunch! Gulp! 

<How is this possible?! How are you able to break my Avatar that's indestructible?! This must be an illusion, yes, I, the Evil God, have actually been affected by an illusion, I'm impressed!>

Crack! Crunch! Crunch! Crunch! Gulp! 

<FUCK, this isn't an illusion! You're actually chewing through one of the strongest metals in the universe, I'm impressed! You're worthy of being my Representative, just stop eating the statue and let me bestow my Divine Blessing on you.>

Crack! Crunch! Crunch! Crunch! Gulp!

Leit completely ignored the creepy voice and devoured the delicious statue with glee and extreme satisfaction. It was his first time eating something so delicious and the taste was simply out of this world. Soon, he'd finished eating the statue and was still savouring the taste in his mouth. As he was in a daze, his eyes suddenly turned pitch black and the dark side of Leit received a boost in strength. 

Leit got out of the pool and walked towards the exit where the D-Rank goblin had been standing previously but once outside, there wasn't even a single goblin in sight, they'd probably ran away after he entered the wooden house. 

“Leit! There you are, haa… haa… haa… why did you suddenly run off on your own?!”

“Yeah Leit, we're supposed to be a team and a team functions if there's teamwork. We understand that you're strong but you still lack combat experience.”

“Haa… haa… haa… don't run off on your own again, please.”

The Birdman Mercenary Group caught up with Leit as fast as they could but Leit had already taken care of everything. Leit didn't respond to the group but appeared in front of Goma and slapped him. With such a huge difference in strength, Goma could neither react in time nor survive the slap. His head simply exploded but by that time, Leit had already moved to the next person. 

In mere seconds, all the male mercenaries were killed and only the two women remained.

“From today onwards, you two shall become my servants and do whatever I tell you to do, if you don't want to then speak now and let me put you out of your misery.” said Leit in a calm voice like he hadn't just killed his acquaintances. The two women didn't say anything which was the same as saying enough. 

“Good. I only kept you two because you're useful, one is a healer and the other is a ranger, very useful. Now, slowly take off your clothes for me.”

“Leit, please don't do this, please!”

“Leit, why are you doing this to us, what did we do to you to deserve this? Please just let us go.”

“It's not my fault that the two of you are beautiful and very attractive. Now take off your clothes or do you want me to help you with that?” said Leit while licking his lips.

An hour later, Leit and the two women quickly left the goblin village and headed deeper into the cave. The women’s legs were shaking and walked in a funny and strange manner. 

As for why they were going deeper into the forest, it was because Leit was afraid of being caught by Tom and his organisation so the wilderness was the safest place. Every time they took a break, Leit would sleep with these two girls and the more he did, the more addicted he was to it.

A few hours after Leit left the goblin village, someone suddenly appeared in the sky and slowly descended into the goblin village. The person was an old man with a wrinkled covered face and skin with a bald head and grey hair. The old man entered the wooden house but didn't seem to find what he was looking for. 

“Why isn't it here? I can still sense its presence so my vision definitely wasn't wrong but where the fuck is it?! Who fucking took the Evil God's statue!” exclaimed the old man in anger as his wrinkles disappeared, his hair turned black and his baldness disappeared. In just seconds, he'd transformed from an old man into a handsome young man. 

“Asshole, you think that you can steal my things and get away with it, you got another thing coming!” said the young man as his pupils changed and now looked like two clocks that ticked anticlockwise. Then he waved his hand and a blue energy covered the wooden room. 

“Let me see who you are, bastard.” said the young man. 

At first, nothing happens but as time went by, scenes involving Leit began to play out in front of the young man. 

“Old bastard, so it was you!” said the young man while looking at Leit whom the blue energy had created.

“What did you do with my statue?” asked the young man as he continued watching the replay of Leit walking into the blood pool, grabbing the statue, opening his mouth and biting it. 

“What the fuck are you doing?! That statue isn't fake but real, testing it with your teeth is border… holy shit! You're eating it! You're fucking eating it! How the fuck is that even possible?!” exclaimed the young man in shock, extreme shock because he'd never seen something like this. He didn't even think it was possible to achieve something so absurd.

“A Devourer, he's actually a Devourer! Fuck! What kind of bad luck did I receive to encounter another Devourer?! I better leave this place quickly before he returns!”
