"Wait, hold on a minute, this is your husband?!" A woman's voice resounded throughout the room. Her voice mixed with anger and disgust as she glanced at the wretched looking boy that stood beside her daughter in disdain.

"Yes, mom, This is Scott, the man i am getting married to." The woman's daughter named, Caroline, introduced her fiance to her mother with an innocent smile.

Caroline was the daughter of one of the big men around Spain. Her father was the CEO of a big company and earns billions of dollars every month.

At the age of 23,Caroline's father, Malcolm Fernando, informs his daughter to get married and give birth to their grandchildren.

Later on,Caroline informed her parents that she has finally found someone she wanted to marry and they would get to meet him today.

After hearing Caroline's words,Caroline's parents anticipated that their daughter would bring in a nice handsome rich man that was from a well respected home.

But instead, she brought in a boy dressed in a torn brown faded hoodie and worn out trousers.

At first, Caroline's mother, Mrs Sheila, thought Scott was the guy that was suppose to clear out the trash in the house, but after Caroline introduced her as her fiance, she felt her blood boiled in anger and disgust.

"Have you lost your mind, Caroline?!" Mrs Sheila shouted. "How can you bring in this poor beggar and say you want to marry him?! It's a joke, right?"

"It's not a joke, mom." Caroline replied, holding Scott's hands who just stood there in silence and endured the humiliation. "Scott and i have been together for a while now."

"S-She's right, ma." Scott uttered in a shaky voice. "I've been with your daughter for a while now a..."

"You must be very stupid!" Mrs Shiela chimed in, causing Scott to flinch in fear. "You think you can just walk in here and marry the daughter of Malcolm Fernando?!. You are nothing but a riff raff who belongs to the gutter."

Scott clenched his fist tightly as the woman kept on humiliating his poor background. If not for the love he had for Caroline, he would have broken up with her and go his seperate way.

But he couldn't hurt her feelings not after everything they've been together for a while now.

"Mom please stop." Caroline voiced out. "It's my fiance you are insulting."

"Stop saying such stupid things,Caroline. How can you call this rag your fiance. What happened to Pedro Louis? Or Bruno?" Mrs Sheila asked. "Did he use some kind of Juju on you?."

"No, mom. I don't like Bruno or Pedro. It's Scott Carden i love and would want to spend the rest of my life with." Caroline replied, her hands holding Scott's.

"Bruno and Pedro are both CEO's of huge companies, and they are very handsome. Why didn't you go for them?" Mrs Sheila inquired, her face bright red in anger anytime she looked at Scott's face.

"I don't date people because of their bank account or looks." Caroline replied. "Scott is a good guy. He's kind, smart, Loving,Car..."

"That's enough!" Mrs Sheila couldn't take it anymore. "You,Leave this house right now and never come back!" Mrs Shiela orderd, directing Scott towards the door.

"But mom..."

"That's enough,Caroline!" Mrs Shiela shouted. "I have had enough of this. Your father and everyone would hear about this. "

Scott released his hand from Caroline's grip and walked out of the mansion.

Scott arrived in his one room apartment, Collapsing on his bed and thinking about all what Mrs Sheila told him.

Being poor wasn't easy.

You get treated like trash and get regarded as a nobody.

BEEP* BEEP*

Scott's phone began to make beeping sounds in his trousers pockets. He took it out to see who was calling.

"What's up, Sandro?" Scott greeted after answering the call.

"Good afternoon, Boss." Sandro greeted from the other end.

"I thought i have warned you to not regard me as your boss during my stay here? What if someone hears you?" Scott inquired, slightly pissed off.

"It's just that I am already used to calling you, Boss." Sandro replied. "By the way,how long do you plan on staying there?"

"I don't know yet. When i find what i am looking for I will return back home." Scott responded. "For now I just have to keep pretending to be Scott Carden and endure their abuses for a while."

"Are you sure you don't want to reveal your true identity to them? That would make thngs easier if they know who you truly are." Sandro uttered over the phone.

"Nah. If everyone knows who i am then there won't be fun at all." Scott replied. "I have to keep living as Scott and as a poor boy for the main time. Besides, if i disclose my identity,it would only attract attentions and fake love. And attention is the last thing i need right now."

"Okay,Bos..,I mean,Scott." Sandro corrected himself immediately. "By the way,Did you receive the 50 Trillion dollar earlier today?" Sandro asked.

"Ah,yes,I am guessing it's our profit for last month?" Scott inquired.

"Yes, Although,Some of the companies are still yet to settle their debt. Once they do,I will forward the money to you." Sandro answered back.

"Good job,Sandro. I have to go now,I still have to clean up this room." Scott remarked.

"Allright,Boss...I mean,Scott." Sandro replied before the call got disconnected.

Scott dropped his phone on his small bed and began to clean the room.

The car parked infront of the house and a man stepped out of the car. The man had no hair on his head and his cheeks and body was plump with a huge pot belly.

Malcolm Fernando walked into the mansion and saw his whole family already waiting for him in the living room.

"What's going on here?" Malcolm asked with a confused expresssion

"Go ahead and tell him, Caroline." Mrs Sheila voiced out with glares of anger.

Mohammed raised his head slowly, and the moment Kelly caught sight of his face, her heart skipped a beat. A cold chill surged down her spine, paralyzing her where she stood. Her mind was instantly flooded with horrifying images—memories from the hospital, where she had seen this man butcher trained guards as if they were made of paper. The screams, the blood, the lifeless corpses on the floor—they all came rushing back like a tidal wave. She rose to her feet slowly, almost mechanically, as though her body were acting on instinct alone. Her heart pounded inside her chest like a war drum, and beads of sweat cascaded down her forehead, dripping onto her already trembling hands.Mohammed walked toward her with measured, deliberate steps, and his men fell in behind him like silent shadows, their faces stoic, unreadable, and their weapons barely concealed under flowing garments. He continued his slow, steady approach until he stopped a few paces away from her, towering over her with an air

She was dressed in a long black gown that flowed elegantly around her ankles, and a black hat sat atop her carefully styled hair. In her right hand, she carried a small designer handbag, its sleek black surface gleaming faintly under the hallway lights. She approached Scott and came to a halt just a few paces away from him.Scott gave her a subtle once-over, his gaze moving from her head to toe. His face remained unreadable, a calm mask betraying nothing.“Shall we?” Kelly asked, her voice soft and pleasant.“You’re ready. Let’s go,” Scott replied coolly. Then he turned to Sullivan, who was already rising from the couch. “Sullivan, gather the boys. We’re leaving immediately.”But just as Sullivan was about to exit the living room, Kelly quickly interjected.“Lorenzo, wait. I don’t think you should brin

Among them stood the towering building that housed Carden Energy Corporation, the flagship of Scott Carden’s corporate empire.Inside the top-floor office, Scott sat silently behind a large glass desk, his arms folded across his chest as he stared out the expansive window.
