Dylan's body was sent flying through the air, crashing to the ground with a sickening thud. He lay there, bleeding and motionless, his vision fading to black as his head spun wildly.

The tears he had been holding back finally broke free, and in that moment, he felt utterly alone and forsaken. The pain was overwhelming, and he couldn't move a muscle.

His mind was a jumble of thoughts, but one question kept echoing:

"Is this the end?" He thought about all he had lost, and how he had nothing left to lose. The world seemed cruel and unfair, and he felt like he was being punished for no reason.

As he closed his eyes, a flood of memories from his life flashed before him. He saw glimpses of his childhood, how his parents died in a car accident, his friends, and his lost love.

He thought he heard a faint whisper in his mind, but he couldn't quite make out what it was saying.

Just then, the faint whisper in his mind became sharper with a resounding voice ringing in his mind.

"HOST DETECTED...."

"INITIATING PARING SYSTEM"

"PARING BEGINS!"

"20% 50%...... 70%.... SYSTEM PARING ACCORDING TO HOST NEEDS."

"ANALYSIS COMPLETE!!"

"TRANSACTION BEGINS......"

"WARNING....!!!!"

[HOST EMERGENCY: Initiating Healing System].

A warm, golden light began to emanate from an unseen source, enveloping Dylan's battered body. The light pulsed with a gentle, soothing energy that seemed to seep deep into his wounds.

As the light intensified, Dylan felt a strange, tingling sensation coursing through his veins, as if his very cells were being rejuvenated.

His pain began to ebb away, replaced by a deep sense of relaxation and calm. The light continued to envelop him, nurturing his body and slowly restoring him to wholeness.

He finally opened his eyes and all he could see was the deserted road and a haunting image of blood splattered around him.

"I got hit by a car.... Am I dead? Did I die like that?" He touched himself to check for possible wounds as he stood firmly.

Dylan scrutinized the deserted road and all he could see was just the splatter of blood covering the road. "Isn't that my blood? And I have no wound. Is this how death looks like?"

Panic set in as memories came flooding back - the car accident, the pain, the feeling of his life slipping away. A cold dread crept over him as he realized that he must be dead.

This must be the afterlife, he thought. But why did it feel so... real? And where the hell is my body? No police sign anywhere, so my body wasn't moved yet...What's happening?

Just then , a mesmerizing blue square hologram appears in his vision, radiating an ethereal glow.

A white light shimmers and undulated, creating a sentence: WELCOME HOST.

Another message followed simultaneously;

"Congratulations! You're the luckiest man among billions. You are chosen to be the Ultimate Ruler of the Infinite World! "

"What the hell is going on? Am I hallucinating? Ultimate Ruler? What's heck is that?"

[You were on the verge of death and the infinite system has been activated. Will host like to activate system fully?]

Dylan giggled at the sound of that, "Yes, I'm definitely hallucinating. This is not some kind of marvel comic... I need to get my head straight."

Dylan stood there trying to figure exactly what happened. Then the thought of Ashley hit him so hard that it became his main thought. Before he could think of the hurtful memories another message appear in the screen.

"WILL YOU LIKE TO ACTIVATE SYSTEM FULLY?"

"Yes, I want to activate... Are you satisfied now?" He yelled at the up of his voice expecting a response after.

A minute passed already and nothing came up. "I knew I was the one hallucinating. What if I am living in my thoughts right now what will---"

Instantly, the same hologram appeared.

Ding...!!! Ding..!

"Full System Activation"

"Opening Access"

[ Name: Dylan Bradley ]

[ Balance: 100000000000000 ]

[ Status: Rank 1]

[ Strength: Weak ]

[Power Point: 0]

[Skills Chamber: 0 ]

Dylan noticed that on the status screen there were more tabs on the top but without even doing anything and just reading the tabs in his head. The screen automatically switched.

On the AI assistant tab, Dylan couldn't really see much. Everything seemed to be locked and slightly greyed out so he quickly moved on to the next tab which was called, Charm. But it was all greyed as well.

A notification popped up on the screen shortly,

[ Note that the balance is not finite. Every rank with a correspondingly increase amount of money. The more money spent, the higher the rank and more money a Host can access. All greyed tabs will be unlocked as host ranked up with power points ]

"Is this some kind of joke? I just have to keep spending the 100 trillion recklessly if I want to level up and I even get to enjoy more money if I level up. Nah!!! This can't be real."

Though he didn't believe, he still scrutinized the screen looking at all the tabs... Immediately, it switched on the main screen and a notification followed abruptly.

[ RANK 1: Get 1 power point for every 100 Million Dollar spent. Account is binded to all all Banks in the world and a host can pay with fingerprint.]

"What if it's just a scam?" Dylan thought to himself. "What if it's just a fancy trick to get me to do something stupid?"

He thought about how his life has been and how desperate he was, how willing he was to try anything to get out of his miserable life.

But as he looked back at the System, he felt a pang of doubt. What if it was too good to be true?

Dylan's mind was a jumble of conflicting emotions, his desire for a better life warring with his fear of the unknown.

He didn't know what to do, or what to believe. All he knew was that he had to be careful, that he couldn't afford to make a mistake.

"Let's try it out then."

The final bell rang, echoing through the halls like a signal of freedom and students began packing up as chatter filled the air. But before anyone could leave the classroom, the energy shifted.Becky walked in and every head turned towards her direction. Her heels clicked confidently against the floor with her sleek hair bouncing with each step, and her perfectly tailored olive-green knit dress hugged her curves in all the right places. But it wasn’t just her beauty that caught attention, it was who she was looking for.“Is she lost?” someone whispered.Desmond’s face lit up when he saw her. He was certain that she came looking for him. Ashley side-eyed Becky with a glare sharp enough to cut glass. She hated the fact that Desmond had stopped looking at her the very moment Becky stepped into the class.Tracy and everyone else straightened in their seat as curiosity flashed through their eyes. But Becky’s focus never wavered as she walked straight up to Dylan ignoring Desmond and a

Desmond wasn’t done, not with his pride stained and the audience forming. He pushed off the desk in front of him and straightened his shirt with exaggerated flair as he stepped in front of Dylan and Barry.Barry knew Desmond was nothing when it comes to fighting. After all, his friend defeated the Bergs family, and that has boasted Barry's confidence. With that he quickly whispered to Dylan to calm down and let him handle the whole situation on his behalf. Barry just wanted to give Desmond a taste of his own medicine and this was the best moment.“Don’t get too comfortable, Dylan. Just because a rich girl drives you in doesn’t mean you belong in her league. Some of us earn our place.” Desmond fired angrily.Barry turned like he had heard the dumbest thing all day. “Earn your place? Bro, you’ve been leeching off your daddy’s connections since high school. Don’t talk like you built anything.”The class rippled again with low chuckles and side-eyes. The shameful humiliation was buildin

Dylan hadn’t even made it halfway to the class building when Barry came charging toward him with his arms waving like a madman.“Bro....damn!”"You're okay?" Dylan was even surprised with Barry's sudden burst.“I’ve never been better!” Barry grinned as he threw an arm around Dylan’s shoulder, like the world hadn’t flipped upside down. Like everything was perfectly normal… except it wasn’t.“You didn’t bring your car? Come on, man! We’re the new face of this campus now. No more moving like some broke-ass dudes. You feel me?” Barry beamed, practically bouncing with every word. His excitement was infectious and chaotic, but very genuine.“Wait, what’s gotten into you?” Dylan raised a brow with a half-smile spreading across his face.“Oh... Yeah, my bad!” Barry laughed, lowering his voice. “Austin told me everything. Every damn detail. Man, do you even know how insane it sounds? I thought he was messing with me until I checked his IG stories…”He leaned in conspiratorially and whispered,

  • CHAPTER 185

As Dylan approached his class, whispers rippled through the corridors and since his senses are heightened enough, he could hear everything they were saying. Some of the girls were surprised with Dylan's handsomeness and couldn't for a second stare away. They couldn't believe it was the same Dylan they all knew. The every day transformation was already becoming intimidating for other guys. Those that didn't want to admit that Dylan's new look was captivating drifted their attention towards the girl that dropped him off."Isn't that the same girl that came to the dinner party with him?""Wow... I thought the girl just spoke up out of pity for Dylan. Never knew they were together.""I think that's his girlfriend." One of the students cuts into their whispers."Girlfriend? Dylan has such a rich hot girl? That's not possible... Hey, com'on, y'all should think for a second. How can Dylan possibly be dating a rich girl like that." Tracy fired. She was already getting pissed with the admirati

The jeep rolled into the school premises like it belonged there. The sudden movement coupled with the speed the car made its way through the gate alerted everyone and even attracted more attention.Students paused mid-conversation instantly. While some were staring in amusement, others were reaching out for their phones. It wasn’t the car, it was the aura of the man stepping out of it that made the car even more noticeable.Dylan stepped out, calm and composed like the spotlight belonged to him. He moved around to Betty’s side as she lowered the tinted window and saw her smirk as cocky as ever."You're not bad at driving, I must say!" Dylan complimented while maintaining the eye contact. This was something he couldn't do before the infinite system, but now it felt like every trick on having a conversation was imprinted into his head.Right now, confidence poured out of him effortlessly like he owned everything around. There was a propelling force that instinctively pulled Betty towa

Inside, Dylan showed them to the guest wing that had quiet and elegant rooms prepared as if someone had known they would be needed. “Rest here. Eat if you’re hungry, and there are medical supplies in the bathroom cabinets. I have to head to school.”“School? After… everything?” Nicole blinked. She looked genuinely puzzled as to why someone as rich and powerful as Dylan will still look worried about lectures. It didn't make sense to her. Dylan had just pulled off what most would consider a movie-level escape from chaos, and he has shown that he has enough money to even buy the entire school, why still get bothered about school and some shitty class attendance. But the more she stares at Dylan, trying to understand what kind of mystery clouded him, the more confused she becomes.Dylan wasn’t an open book. And even when he seemed like one, the words were written in a language she couldn’t quite decipher.“You know I am still a student...Life doesn't stop.” Dylan added as he made his w
