It was already past midday and all Dylan could think of was how to get to the Xpression Fashion Brand company. It one of the biggest fashion Brand in Stone's City.

He needed to dump his old clothes and get some well tailored one. No poor person could actually think of going to Xpression Fashion Brand, unless they are going there to look for a cleaner's job.

"How do I get there on time now!" He stepped forward to the taxi stand with the dispatch bag hanging firmly in his hand.

Just then, a convoy of luxury cars pulled up, the air was filled with the sound of revving engines and the gleam of polished metal. The three red Porsches and the Black vibrant Ferrari with its iconic logo and curved lines seems to leave everyone at wake

A group of muscular men in expensive black suits emboldening confidence and authority emerged from the cars, their presence was so commanding that one could fret at the sight of them.

The contrast between their high-end cars and the rusty cars on the street was striking. The roar of the engines was almost deafening, leaving everyone frozen in awe.

Four of the burly men formed a protective circle around the Ferrari, while one of them carefully opened the door, allowing a dignified man in his 40's to step out with grandeur.

'That's Scott Hudson... Oh my God, I just saw Scott Hudson...' The people watching couldn't help but murmured to them as some of them brought out their phones to capture the moment. It was worth documenting thinking of how great and powerful Mr. Scott is.

A hushed whisper spread through the crowd, with people murmuring to each other in awe.

"He's even more impressive and powerful in person than the rumors suggest."

'If I can just shake hands with him, my life has change completely.'

'He's definitely the legend they say he is.' They couldn't help but admired the obvious display of wealth.

As he emerged from the Ferrari, he seemed to survey his surroundings with a sense of ownership, as if he were the master of his domain.

"Good Day Dylan!" Scott Hudson's approached Dylan with a handshake.

'Oh my god... He just shook hands with that Shabby dude. Man... That lad's life has changed completely. I wished I can just get a little close to him, I'd go on my kneels and beg passionately for a life change.' One of the dude passing by murmured with a stunned expression.

"Mr. Scott! I thought you've gone back to Sterling City." Dylan spoke freely like they have know each other for long.

"You know it a long drive to Sterling City and my private Jet is in Eastern part of Stone City, getting here will take a while, so I'm just taking a walk on Stone City and I just happened to bumped into you." Scott spoke with a smile extended over his face.

Before Dylan could utter another word, Scott spoke with almost a calm voice that even the Guards were shocked. "If you don't mind, can I offer you a ride to anywhere you want to go. I have all the time in the world as far Dylan is involved." He chuckled and Dylan couldn't help but smile too.

Before now, he wouldn't have dared to even approach Mr. Scott's guards, let alone have the influential man himself stop and offer him a ride. It was a surreal experience, and a testament to the drastic transformation his life had undergone.

'This is the best thing that has ever happened to me, Money can indeed buy anything. And I definitely need strong allies if I want to pay back to all those people who has looked down on me.' With a smug on his face, he stepped into the Ferrari's car with Mr. Scott.

"Where are you headed Dylan?"

Just then his old Android phone beeped and it was another message from a W******p group named 'The Tripods' with just three members

"A minute please."

"Don't worry I have all the time to wait." Scott said and Dylan proceeded to check the messages.

BARRY: [ Oh my God, Dylan, why didn't you tell us what happened?]

AUSTIN: [ Hope you're okay? And please don't check the class group? Nor the school group. Please just don't.]

Dylan: [ I'll tell you guys everything that happened today when I come back to school hostel. And why shouldn't I check the class group nor school group? ]

Dylan couldn't resist asking, but after receiving no response, he was compelled to check the class group chat.

To his dismay, he found himself being tagged in numerous anonymous messages. The comments were vicious and hurtful.

"Dylan is a total loser."

"He's just a cleaner at Desmond's house, and to think that he could keep Ashley when good and wealthy folks like Desmond exist. What a pathetic waste of space Dylan is."

"I heard he's been begging for scraps from Desmond's table.... Hahaha, No wonder he's so desperate to cling to anyone who'll give him attention."

"Dylan's got no future ahead of him. He's just a lowlife who'll always be stuck in the gutter."

"Who would have thought that a cleaner could be dating Ashley? Dylan needs to get back to scrubbing toilets where he belongs."

"I bet Ashley agreed to date him because she feels sorry for him. Poor thing, she really deserves so much better than a loser like Dylan."

"Dylan's just a joke. He thinks he's all high and mighty just because he's got a girlfriend, but really, he's just a pathetic little boy playing dress-up."

"Someone should tell Dylan that being a cleaner isn't something to be proud of. He's just embarrassing himself by trying to act like he's one of us."

Dylan's eyes widened in shock and hurt as he scrolled through the messages. The anonymous messages was even hosted by the entire Faculty, but it seems like all attention was fixated on him. He felt like he had been punched in the gut.

'Desmond must have done this. If my group Chat only is the getting heated like this. What about the School group chat?'

Dylan's face twisted in anger and hurt as he was about typing a response. But the message that came from The Tripods Group interrupted him.

BARRY: [ Dylan, Just don't say anything. Don't react! And Why don't you come to Opulent Haven Hotel, I will treat the Tripods to a meal. We're waiting for you. ]

Dylan has always wanted to go to a 5 star hotel, he even planned with the Tripods to take Ashely there to celebrate her birthday and Barry was eager to help since he was the one with a wealthy family among them.

Now Barry has proposed to take the Tripods to a 10 star hotel. Even though it felt like a dream come true, he just couldn't wait to take his revenge on Desmond and all these that had humiliated him.

With his anger fading away, He turned to Mr. Scott, but the man was just glued to his phone. Mr Scott glanced at him with an smiley face. "Have you thought of a place to go Dylan? I'm ready to take you there."

"That's so nice of you Mr. Scott!" He expressed. "Let's go to Opulent Haven Hotel."

He reflectively caught the chain mid-air with one hand, his grip was so firm and unshakable. It was right in this moment they knew that strength isn't measured by physique.Without a moment's hesitation, Dylan yanked it with brutal force. The thug attached to the other end was ripped off his feet and flung violently forward.... Crashing straight into two of his approaching comrades.Their bodies collided violently with their skulls cracking together as the three of them dropped helplessly to the ground. And the half-smashed thug, the one who got his face compressed from Dylan's punch earlier was now the only one left standing."How did a 21-year old knock down everyone? Who the hell are you?" The half-smashed thug just couldn't keep his voice down. He was so annoyed on why Dylan didn't even give them breathing space to fight him. He literally took them out in just a few seconds.Dylan wasn't ready for those stupid talks at the moment. He gave him enough time to make his decision, but

The half-smashed thug, who appeared to be the leader, regained a false sense of confidence as he noticed the others rallying behind him. With renewed arrogance hovering over him, he wiped the blood dripping from his mouth and stepped closer to Dylan again. But this time, he wasn't alone, the other thugs had taken their stance around Dylan. Some of the thugs came from the side with jagged pipes. The remaining goons with their chain-wrapped fist and dangerous weapons gleaming under the headlights, roared as they rushed forward.Austin's heart was pounding right in his mouth. It looks like it was about to break out of his chest at the very moment. "Dylan... Get in!!" Austin instantly got into the Lamborghini and yelled at Dylan. But the latter didn't move an inch. He just stood there not flinching as he watched the goons yelling towards him.His eyes locked onto the incoming attackers with a deadly calmness, as though he had already calculated every move they were about to make.Austi

The thug nodded frantically as he got no other options. Even the other thugs knew that fighting Dylan was like committing suicide. “We got a message... earlier this evening. Just the location and target, and the target is your friend, Austin. But your name was there… with a warning attached to your name.”“What kind of warning?” Dylan's tone darkened as he was already on the verge of losing patience. The cold fury in his chest wasn’t from the thugs in front of him. It was from whoever had dared to target his friends while hiding behind shadows. A coward, bold enough to pull strings from safety, but too weak to face him directly. They didn’t just pick the wrong target. They stepped into a territory they had no business entering, a line that once crossed, could never be undone. Now, there was no going back. Not for them. Not after targeting someone Dylan cared about. They hadn't just made a mistake, they have declared war...!“Start talking...!” Dylan ordered, and one doesn't need

  • CHAPTER 151

Dylan wasn’t one to act on emotion. Logic had always been his compass. It was a principle he had learned from the Tripods over the years, and it had saved him more times than he could count. But tonight, logic was out the window.Someone had dared to lay hands on his friend… and that was a line Dylan couldn’t allow anyone to cross. He could already tell the men standing before him were nothing more than local muscle. They were clearly paid thugs sent by someone hiding behind power. Probably someone who thought they were untouchable. That alone made Dylan's blood boil.He despised people like that. Cowards who sat behind desk or security walls, pulling strings and sending others to do their dirty work. To Dylan, they were the worst kind of threat. Ones who hid behind power instead of owning it.Dylan’s jaw tightened as he took another step forward, his presence alone was making the night heavy.“Who sent you? I won't ask again…”At this moment, Dylan's voice has lost all calmness. It w

Austin was supposed to be in his hostel by this time, not running for his life. His face was pale as sweats were dripping down his temples. His shirt was torn and messed up with mud. Even his legs were so tired that he was having problems standing upright. And from the way he was panting heavily, one could tell that he had been running for hours.Inside the chaos of his own mind,Austin suddenly froze. That voice...!Austin heard a voice like that of Dylan calling him from inside of the Lamborghini.Despite not seeing him clearly, he knows Dylan's voice when he hears it. He has practically been his friend for years and it has stuck with him. He doesn't need to see him before he could discern if it was Dylan's voice he heard or not “Dylan...You in there?... With how late it had gotten and the threats still looming, most believed the roads weren’t safe to drive at night. But what unsettled Dylan wasn’t the road.It was Becky. Her sudden warmth, soft tone in her voice, and the way she now looked at him, none of it looked genuine. It wasn’t respect... It was admiration for power... for his money. Dylan could see through it all.She didn’t care about him. She cared about what he now represented...!“Dylan... it wouldn’t be bad if you just spend the night here,” Becky said softly, stepping a bit closer. “We could get to know each oth—”“No...I will be fine.” Dylan cut in before she could even finish.
