Chapter 04

"Die!" Celv shouted. He ran towards Gerald quickly, then launched an attack.

A fist swung towards Gerald. However, Gerald quickly kicked the fist away, then launched a spinning kick in the air, hitting Celv's jaw. Celv fell to the ground, while his friends who saw it were shocked.

"What?" Emma muttered, her eyes widening.

Dillon and Carl, who were members of a martial arts club, immediately put on wary faces. Previously, they had underestimated their opponent and thought they would end it easily. However, seeing Gerald's movements and fighting techniques made their confidence waver. Gerald moved very quickly and calculatedly, like a professional martial artist.

While Dillon and Carl exchanged glances as if understanding each other's thoughts, Gerald had already moved to beat up Juno and Ben in just a few seconds. Gerald charged towards Juno, who was still standing in his position, slamming his knee hard into his stomach, just like he had done to Celv yesterday.

After that, Gerald moved quickly towards Ben. Ben, who was surprised by Gerald's position in front of him, managed to swing his fist, but Gerald deflected it and countered the attack by grabbing Ben's face with one hand, then slamming him to the ground.

"Fuck! How could that nerd...."

Axel's forehead furrowed instantly. He really didn't expect that the guy he considered a loser could do such a thing without hesitation.

As fighters, Dillon and Carl actually understood the situation. They glanced at Axel, as if telling him that the person they were facing was not someone they should mess with. But Axel's arrogance swallowed everything.

Dillon and Carl advanced together to attack Gerald. Their punches and kicks moved very regularly, complementing each other, following the rhythm of the fight. When Carl once again swung his leg towards Gerald's face, Gerald casually parried the leg and pulled it, causing Carl to move closer. At the same time, Gerald launched his fist, which directly hit Carl's face.

"You fucking bastard!" Axel snapped. He pulled Lucy's hair, his grip tight, then thrust her towards Emma.

Axel immediately charged towards Gerald and launched a brutal attack repeatedly. But every movement he made was easily blocked and avoided by Gerald. Realizing this made his emotions burn even more. Gerald then turned to Emma, who was still holding Lucy. Emma looked scared. Next to her, Helen and the other friends also looked the same. In their hearts, could they possibly have the same fate as the men there?

Emma intended to threaten Gerald using Lucy, but she suddenly stopped when she saw Gerald stepping closer to them. Gerald's eyes were full of cruelty. Every step he took spread a deep aura of hatred, making the women only able to step back with trembling.

Gerald didn't care about Emma's threat. He had destroyed Emma's mentality, which would definitely make Emma hesitate to hurt Lucy. In an instant, he ran to stand right in front of Emma, then took Lucy from the cunning woman's grip.

When Lucy was released from her grip, Emma suddenly slumped down, followed by her gang friends.

"Are you okay?"

Lucy looked weak, but forced herself to smile a little. "I'm fine."

When she saw Gerald coming, she was really worried about Gerald's safety. Especially since the one he was facing was Axel. She didn't expect that now her fate would turn around. Gerald then turned to Emma, making Emma shudder. At that moment, looking directly at Gerald's sharp gaze felt like staring into the eyes of her strict grandfather.

Lucy immediately grabbed Gerald's wrist and said, "Gerald, that's enough. Let's go back to class."

"But they often trouble you."

"Gerald? Let's go back to class," the cute girl repeated, emphasizing but with a gentle tone.

Gerald sighed, then smiled slightly. His expression instantly turned sweet, surprising Emma's friends who saw it, except for Helen.

"Alright. Let's go. I'll take you to class," Gerald said, fixing Lucy's messy hair. After that, Gerald immediately put his arm around Lucy's shoulder and took her away.

When they had taken a few steps, Gerald stopped for a moment. He showed his cold expression again and said to Emma without turning around, "This is a warning for you. Want to be my enemy? You're not worthy!"

Gerald then continued his steps.

While walking down the hallway to class 1-C, which was Lucy's class, the students' attention was drawn to him. They were like seeing an idol, whispering in admiration.

"Just until here," Lucy said.

"Why? I'll take you to the front of the class."

"This is my class."

Lucy's answer made Gerald spontaneously lift his face to look at the sign that read 1-C above the door frame.

"Alright. I'll go back to class."

Lucy smiled slightly while waving her hand. "Bye bye."

Gerald returned the smile and wave. When he turned around, he was stunned to see female students gathering, watching him. The girls were whispering about Gerald's handsomeness. Some of them wondered who the guy was, which class he was from, and what he had come to this class for.

Feeling uncomfortable being watched like that, Gerald immediately left, with his cold expression.

A few moments later, Gerald arrived at his class. Upon entering, he realized that his classmates' gazes were on him. However, he didn't care and continued walking to his seat.

Hendrick nudged his shoulder. "Hey? Did you know, you're trending today."

Gerald narrowed his eyes slightly.

"What happened?"

Hendrick then opened his phone and showed a video of Gerald's fight against Axel and the gang, which was sent by an anonymous account in the W******p group. All the students in class 3-A knew about it. In fact, because they were on Gerald's side, all the students in 3-A agreed not to spread the video to other class groups, knowing that Axel would make the problem even longer. What spread to other classes now was just the news of Gerald defeating Axel and the gang, making him a trending topic.

After watching the video, Gerald acted as if nothing had happened. He didn't comment at all and immediately took out a book from his bag.

Gerald then brushed off Devin's hand that was around Hendrick's shoulder.

"Can you stop everything?"

Gerald instantly smiled slightly seeing that. He nodded a little, signaling to Hendrick that everything would be okay.

"Guys! Emergency!"

At the same time, a student ran and said frantically to the students there.

"What's the emergency?" one of the female students asked.

"Mr. Joshep saw the video," he said. "Gerald? Now you're asked to see Mr. Joshep. He also summoned Axel and his friends."

"What? Didn't we agree not to spread the video outside the class group?"
