Chapter 05

Mr. Joshep was the guidance counselor and also the homeroom teacher of Axel and the gang, class 3-D. He had a good relationship with Axel's parents and often received money to cover up Axel and Emma's misbehavior at school. Joshep really felt like he had lost face in front of Gerald. His emotions exploded. His hand swung so fast that it slapped Gerald's cheek hard.

"Today I will discipline you. Starting tomorrow, you are not allowed to go to school. I will send a two-week suspension letter to your parents!"

Instantly Axel and his friends smiled slyly when they heard that sentence. Meanwhile, Gerald wasn't afraid at all. He immediately turned on his phone and played a video.

"Is this evidence still not enough?"

Joshep's eyes widened instantly when he saw the full version video of Gerald's fight against Axel and the gang. It showed how Emma and her friends treated Lucy harshly, while Axel just watched and laughed in satisfaction.

Previously, Gerald had received a gift from the system, which was a special request. After he claimed it, he had the right to ask the system for something. Realizing the situation, he asked the system to add the duration of the video, starting from the bullying against Lucy.

Gerald was truly furious when the system successfully added the video's duration. He was disgusted by how heartlessly Emma and her friends treated Lucy.

Her hair being pulled, her stomach being kicked, her clothes being splashed with dirty mop water, her head being thrown with whiteboard erasers. She had gone through all of that for a full half year of junior high school. Bad luck brought her back into the same class with Emma in high school, so the bullying continued.

After this incident, she knew that she had a brother who was very good at fighting. In her heart, "Will she start to have a peaceful school life from now on?"

"Lucy? Hey? Lucy?"

Gerald's voice broke her reverie. She immediately stopped walking and lifted her face.

"I'm here."

Lucy turned back. "Ah, Gerald?"

"Fuck, fuck, fuck! You damn rat!" Emma gritted her teeth. Behind her were Helen and the other friends. "Should I just let Lucy be? That little rat will definitely be enjoying herself."

"Emma? It seems we really have to forget about Lucy," Helen said hesitantly.

Emma turned around and raised her voice, "What did you say? No way. I have never experienced such humiliation in my life. News about our gang being defeated by one person has already spread. And you're telling me to just be quiet?"

"Do you have a way?" Eve asked.

Emma sighed. She closed her eyes and thought for a moment. After a while, she opened her eyes, then showed a sly smile.
