[Two months later]

Xenon was discharged from the hospital since he fell into a coma after donating his kidney to save Natalia.

The first person he saw was Felicity who was checking his vital signs, pulse, and any other thing to be sure he was in a good state.

Her father had specifically warned her to take extra care of the man who gave him a chance to work.

He was placed in the most expensive VIP ward and given extreme care for the past 60 days.

"Hey…" He greeted Felicity casually who returned a smile to him.

She still felt guilty about what she had said to him and she hoped he would forget about it.

"How long have I been here, where's Natalia?" He asked and tried to stand up but felt dizzy.

"Calm down Xenon, You still can't walk freely yet since you just got discharged. Natalia is fine all thanks to you and fell into a coma immediately after you were brought out from the theatre. We shouldn't have conducted that surgery because you were malnourished and it could have ruined your life! But I don't know what came over me to continue. You need to rest please." 

Felicity said, seriously trying to remember if she was drunk when she wheeled him into the theatre.

He wasn't stable and any other person would have died but he luckily survived it.

"I understand and I'm glad she's alright. Thanks for moving on with everything, I need to see her!" Xenon buttoned his shirt and used his finger to comb his Raven hair that fell carelessly on his face.

His jaw twitched randomly and his forest green eye blinked in anticipation of meeting Natalia, giving him a perfect look.

"Wait!" Felicity held him and she frowned.

"What?" He asked her and she sighed.

"She's married Xenon, why can't you understand that?"

"There's nothing to understand about a girl I practically loved all my life. I saved her and I'm sure as hell that she's going to be glad to see me rather than stick to my boss who Influenced her." Xenon said, wearing the sky-blue crocs he saw before him and arranged his shirt.

"But she-"

"That's all for now Felicity, thanks for treating me all this while; I bet you had felt so irritated that you were treating a pig! I'll excuse myself before you throw me out and don't tell me what to do with anything that has to do with my Fiancé!" Xenon spat out bitterly and she swallowed a lump, biting her lips hard.

"My father still wants to see you, I'll send men to take you to the house!"

Xenon groaned in frustration.

"Tell him to stay away from me! Both of you. I don't deal with hypocrites."

That hit her hard as she watched him walk out, shrugging his shoulders till he disappeared.

There was something special about him and she regretted so badly why she had called him names and pushed him out, she knew it sounded so stupid to her ears with all he was spewing back then. Seeing her father all free from the pain he had been suffering from for years and turning him into a cold ruthless man made her think otherwise.

No matter how angry he was, she was going to go after him, lure him, and cage him to hers until she found the secret behind whatever it was he used to heal his father.

Xenon stared at the mighty Duplex before him as he stood before the gate, wondering if this was where Natalia was staying.

He had never been to his boss's house before, so the confusion was evident. Even when they had events where his boss would invite them all to work, to serve and he would always be left out.

Looking once more at the address he got from one of his colleagues after incessant nagging and argument, he knocked on the gate softly.

After knocking on the hard iron for minutes till knuckles ache, he began to bang the gate.

A clicking sound was heard and a stout tall man with a neatly trimmed beard and angry face came out.

"Where the hell did you come from?" He asked Xenon harshly who swallowed.

"Sorry, I'm here to-"

"Shut up!" He commanded and Xenon obeyed, sipping his lips in demonstration.

"The next time you come here, use the bell at your right and stop behaving like a mad maniac!" He said with so much spite, pointing at the tiny bell that was above Xenon by the right and Xenon nodded, apologizing.

"Come in, my Boss already saw you on camera." He said and opened the door, leading him inside the Mansion that has the most aesthetic settings ever.

A huge waterfall with a round shape was in the middle of the frontal part of the mansion with a sculpture of birds drinking from it, Beds of lilies and rose flowers were arranged horizontally at the frontal view and the view of the building was magnificent.

He entered inside and his breath was blown. The neat Italian tiles and the red Persian carpet he walked on that led to the living room made him realize how wrong it was for him to step in there.

It looked like a royal house he could never think of having in his next generation.

"Xenon!" A deep voice called him, descending the stairs he hadn't even seen yet and all he could express was 'Wow!' which escaped his lips.

Meanwhile, all iota of admiration vanished when he saw his boss and his face fell from the next word he uttered.

"I see you recovered, that's good. Take the cheque on the table In front of you, that's ten million dollars and I'll give you one of my Porsche cars at the garage to use it and start life as a token for saving my wife's life. I know this is too big for you but don't worry, I'm generous.

I wanted to sack you for the stunt you pulled earlier at my wedding but don't worry, I'll let it pass."

Xenon couldn't believe his ears as he felt as if a cold was poured on his body.

"I didn't come here for all of that, I'm only here to speak with Natalia." He said, trying to keep his voice bold.

"There's no need for that, I knew you saved her because of the benefits involved which I'm glad. So enjoy these while it lasts and don't try to bite more than what you can chew."

"I don't want your money!!" Xenon yelled at him and Enzo felt chills run down his spine as she stared at Xenon's eyes which flashed a terrifying colour.

If he had not known Xenon to be a true useless apprentice in his restaurant then he would have mistaken him for some kind of god.

"Y..you should go Xenon, take it and leave!" 

"Don't you get it, Boss? Do you think I did all that for the money? I'm here for my fiancee and I'm not leaving till I see her."

Xenon said in frustration and Enzo hated the fact that his body was reacting negatively to him when he should just speak boldly or send his men to kick him out and make him take the cheque.

"That won't be necessary Xenon." Natalia's calm voice echoed and Xenon turned his face to meet her striding carefully from the kitchen entrance.

"Nat…..?" He walked to meet her and hugged her without a second thought and she pushed him off her body.

"What's wrong with you Xenon?" She yelled.

"I'm glad you're fine baby, I was so worried. Let's talk okay, I know you were confused and shit happens but you're still mine right?"

Xenon asked her helplessly.

"There's no us Xenon, take the cheque as compensation for saving my life and go!

Enzo is my husband and I'm pregnant with him "

Natalia dropped the bombshell and he gasped in shock.
