Alister smirked. “You think I’m not ready for this?”
He pressed a key. The backup protocol activated instantly. His personal firewall rose like an impenetrable wall of steel. The malware bounced off harmlessly. But that also meant the Cyber Dragon now knew it was under attack.
This was no longer a silent hunt.
It was war.
Two cyber geniuses, lurking behind their screens, slashing and shielding in a world without sound, without bullets—but just as deadly.
Alister didn’t retreat. He launched one final file: Mirror Breaker—his ultimate program. Not only would it disable the server, it also created false reflections across the entire network, making it look like the Black Dragon system was being attacked from ten different locations at once.
The Cyber Dragon began to panic. Alister could see the system tremble—log files in chaos, defenses misdirected.
At that moment, Alister’s hijack program reached the control center. Funds began to shift—one by one, thousands of transactions reversed, funneled back into the victims’ accounts.
That night, a major crime lost its fangs.
And as Alister closed his laptop, he knew... this wasn’t over.
The Cyber Dragon would come for him. But that’s exactly what he was waiting for.
Yoona met with Reino Ezra.
“Long time no see,” Reino greeted her.
“Yeah,” Yoona replied as she sat on one of the chairs and popped open a can of soda she had grabbed from the fridge.
“So? Have you managed to trap Ray? Or are you two getting close? I heard you’ve been spending a lot of time together,” Reino asked, lighting a cigarette.
“Hah, just like you said. He’s too perceptive and not stupid. I got exposed before I could even start the plan to make him fall for me,” Yoona complained.
“Told you. Ray Valen’s not an ordinary guy. You can’t fool him with the usual feminine tricks.”
Yoona tilted her head, watching Reino over the rim of her half-finished soda can. Her breath was heavy, like she’d just unloaded a weight she’d been carrying.
“I thought he was just some punk who liked illegal racing and picking fights,” Yoona said quietly. “But he’s not. Ray Valen, or Alister… he’s like a living radar. He can read your movements, your tone, even your intentions. No wonder people respect him.”
Reino nodded slowly, exhaling smoke toward the open window. “He was trained. Since he was a kid. Not just in martial arts—but how to think, how to find weaknesses, how to survive. He’s like a blade sharpened so finely it could cut air.”
Yoona let out a dry laugh. “Sounds like you’re in love with him.”
Reino raised an eyebrow. “Nah. I’m normal,” he said, then went quiet. “We were close—like two halves of the same whole. That was before the incident.”
Silence. Only the soft clink of Yoona placing her soda can on the glass table could be heard.
“Well, what’s done is done. A grudge is still a grudge,” Yoona said firmly.
Reino turned his face away, staring blankly out the window. The last wisp of cigarette smoke faded along with memories he didn’t want to name.
“I used to think he was the most loyal brother I ever had,” Reino said softly. “But after everything… you know, sometimes the person closest to you is the one who stabs you first.”
Yoona turned to him, her gaze sharp yet still filled with curiosity. “That incident… was it really all because of him?”
Reino gave a small, bitter laugh. “All the evidence pointed to him. Unfortunately, he never got the punishment he deserved. That’s why I’ll keep chasing him until he pays for what he did.”
Yoona stared blankly at the wall. Her eyes reflected her own image in the glass table.
“Irony, huh? From best friends to bitter enemies,” she whispered. “Betrayed by the one you trusted.”
Reino stubbed out his cigarette in the ashtray, then looked at Yoona seriously. “If you want to bring him down, you need to be more than clever. You need to become a real threat. Something he’d never see coming.”
Yoona slowly stood. Her aura shifted—no longer soft and sweet, but firm, bitter, and laced with old wounds.
“I’m done playing nice,” she said, eyes cold as they met Reino’s. “From now on, no more sweet, innocent Yoona. No more undercover girl with the gentle smile.”
“Then who are you now?” Reino asked flatly.
Yoona walked to the door, opened it, then glanced over her shoulder. A thin, bitter smile curved her lips.
“The enemy he never saw coming.”
The door shut behind her. Reino exhaled deeply and leaned back in his chair.
“Yeah… maybe now, all these grudges will finally be settled,” he muttered.

Chapter 12: The Digital War Begins
Alister's phone vibrated as night deepened, the screen’s glow illuminating part of his face, half-sunk in shadows inside his small apartment. The name flashing on the display made his brow arch slightly: Jonathan Kim — International Investment Client.Alister answered the call.“Hello, Mr. Kim.”The voice on the other end sounded rushed, tense. “Mr. L, I need your help. It’s an emergency.”Alister stood from his chair and walked to the window. “Talk.”“There’s something wrong. A group calling themselves the Black Dragon Mafia… they’re pulling off a massive fraud. They’ve exploited a loophole in the international investment payment system using advanced tech. I’m one of the victims. And I’m not the only one—hundreds of other clients have been hit.”Alister fell silent, eyes narrowing. “Are you certain this is their doing?”“I have proof—fabricated transaction records, manipulated server paths, and shadow accounts linked to a name: Cyber Dragon. This isn’t street-level crime, Alister. T
Chapter 11 – The Storm Has Two Names
The evening sky faded, leaving streaks of orange across the horizon. Behind the silent gym building, the place felt like a battlefield waiting for the first explosion. Quiet, except for the crunch of shoes on gravel.Alister stood still in the middle of the small field surrounded by tall walls and dense trees. The evening breeze blew his hair back slightly. His gaze was sharp, locked straight ahead.Behind him, light but steady footsteps approached. It was Yoona, following him."I told you not to come," Alister said without turning around."Too late," Yoona replied calmly, her eyes scanning the area. "Besides, I already told you—I’m not a coward. I’ll take responsibility for what I started."Alister sighed quietly but said nothing more. He knew it was pointless to argue once Yoona had made up her mind.A few seconds later, the heavy sound of footsteps echoed from the right side of the building. Kelvin appeared from the shadows, followed by dozens of people wearing different uniforms.
Chapter 10: Sparks Before the Storm
The classroom grew quieter as the final bell rang, signaling the start of the lunch break. Some students had already left for the cafeteria, while others remained seated, opening lunch boxes or playing on their phones. Alister sat alone at his desk, staring at his phone screen without really focusing. His mind was still preoccupied with Yoona... and her connection to Reino.Suddenly, heavy footsteps echoed from the corridor, drawing the attention of the few students who remained in class. The sound of shoes pounding the floor was rhythmic and bold—like someone taking command of a stage.A voice rang out, loud and full of challenge.“Alister!”Alister didn’t immediately turn. He recognized the voice—one he had ignored hundreds of times before. But this time felt different. The footsteps grew closer, and that familiar arrogant aura spread like poison in the air.A large-built guy with cropped hair dyed partly blond stood right in front of Alister’s desk. Behind him, two equally muscular
Chapter 9: Shadows of the Past
Alister hit the brakes again as the notification sound from his phone shattered the silence of the night. He pulled over on the side of the road, right under the drooping branches of a rain tree that seemed to guard a secret. His hand moved swiftly into his leather jacket to grab the phone. The screen lit up.Unknown number.Message:“Ray Valen… turns out you’re still alive.”Alister’s chest immediately tightened. The air seemed to grow colder. His hand clenched slightly around the phone. His eyes froze.Ray Valen. That name. The name he had buried along with his old identity. A name that should’ve been erased from this world—along with everyone who used to know it.Alister exhaled slowly, his breath heavy. Then quickly, he opened a tracking app. His fingers moved swiftly across the screen, attempting to trace the signal from the sender. One by one, he activated tools and apps only known to a select few.But then...“No results found.”He tried again, this time digging deeper. Still n

“Reino…” Alister muttered under his breath, his jaw tightening beneath his helmet. His old rival stood tall, swinging his helmet casually in one hand like he didn’t have a care in the world. His hair was a mess, eyes sharp and brimming with challenge, and that arrogant smirk on his lips made the air around them feel even heavier.“Word spreads fast, Ray,” Reino said with a mocking tone. “The genius transfer student trying to play mysterious. Did you really think people forgot who you used to be?”Alister remained silent. Reino was one of the few who knew his former identity. One of Reino’s lackeys lit a cigarette and chuckled. “Come on, Reino. Let’s remind him who the real king of the streets is.”“What do you want?” Alister finally spoke, his voice cold. But behind the helmet, his eyes burned like embers ready to ignite.Reino stepped closer, just inches from Alister’s motorcycle.“I just came to invite you to a little reunion. A race. You and me—tonight. If you win, you walk away. I
