Chapter 12: What are you doing here?

The next day I got the job at the convenience shop so for two weeks I worked there just to make ends meet.

My co-worker Kelvin who showed me around the convenience store said that the key to getting a satisfied customer is acting as if they were always right even though they were wrong.

I don't know how well that works but I won't argue with him over it.

Right now he is the boss and I am here to learn.

I was taken aback by an incident that happened in the convenience shop when a customer threw the dollar he used to buy a chocolate bar at him and it fell to the floor.

My co worker Kelvin picked it up, took the customer's change and placed it on the table, smiled at the customer and told him to come back again and I watched the scene with an amazing smile.

The customer scoffed before taking his change and walked out the door.

Guess that wasn't the type of reaction the customer was going for.

"Freaking idiot." I heard my coworker mutter underneath his breath as the man left the convenie
