Entering the company, Maximus felt as usual, with some people working and others engaging in leisure activities, none of which concerned him. But now things were different. This company belonged to him, and he needed it to make money, not to support a bunch of partygoers.

When people saw Maximus enter, they were taken aback, but soon they began to gossip.

"Ha ha, isn't that Maximus? He got fired and now he's back at the company."

"He deserved to be fired. Who told him to cause trouble with the management? He nearly even fought the assistant director. Now he got fired, lost his job, and it's too late for regrets."

"That's really pitiful!"

Thinking of this, everyone immediately felt sorry for Maximus and also reminded each other not to cause trouble with superiors, or they would be fired too.

"What's all the commotion? Don't you know it's working hours?"

A loud shout came from inside the room, followed by a man coming out.

This man was in his thirties, dressed in expensive clothes, and had a somewhat handsome face.

As soon as the other employees saw this man, they quickly greeted him.

"Assistant Director!"

Then everyone hurried back to their workplaces.

The man glanced around the room, and when he suddenly saw Maximus, he was startled. Then he sneered and spoke contemptuously to Maximus.

"Maximus, why are you back at the company? I feel sorry for what happened to you, but it's also your own fault. The company cannot be affected just because of you. Do you understand what I'm saying?"

"Ha ha! Louis, you're quite amusing. It's my fault, huh? Okay, okay!"

Maximus smirked at Louis.

Thinking that Maximus was afraid, Louis became even more disdainful.

"If you understand that, then I won't say anything more. I ask you to leave the company!"

Louis was quite pleased with himself.

Before, Maximus had ruined his plans and even wanted to fight him. Haha, now he shouldn't blame me. If anyone is to blame, it's him for causing trouble with me.

"Leave the company? No, no. This time, I've returned to the company to do something. Can you guess what it is?"

Maximus laughed, looking at Louis with a mysterious demeanor.

Louis's face looked a bit unpleasant, and he thought that Maximus was probably going to talk about him having an affair with the secretary. But realizing that he had prepared everything well, Louis felt more at ease and smirked provocatively at Maximus.

"Oh! What kind of false accusation are you planning to make, my young friend!"

Louis spoke condescendingly, clearly not thinking that Maximus could do anything to him.

"You don't have the qualifications for me to do that!" Maximus sneered and continued, "You were promoted to assistant director quite quickly, just two years and you've already climbed up to this position. It seems you have a very close relationship with the management of VinOPEN company. But after today, VinOPEN won't welcome you anymore!"

As Maximus said these words, everyone else in the company was stunned. Perhaps his words were too terrifying.

"Oh my god! Ha ha ha, I'm so scared! Maximus, who do you think you are? Do you think you're the owner of VinOPEN company? And you want to expel me from the company? That's hilarious!"

Louis burst into laughter, pointing his finger directly at Maximus, as if he were telling a funny story.

The others in the company looked at Maximus with strange eyes, and many of them mocked him, saying he had gone crazy. How dare he speak such words at VinOPEN company? Perhaps Maximus was in shock after finding out he was fired.

Although Maximus was dressed in expensive clothes today, the idea of him wanting to expel an assistant director from VinOPEN company seemed unbelievable.

It must be known that VinOPEN company was a reputable company in Los Angeles, and it was even a subsidiary of the TiKi conglomerate. What kind of conglomerate was TiKi? It was a large corporation, ranking among the top 10 strongest corporations in Los Angeles.

Who was Maximus?

According to everyone, Maximus was just an ordinary person! How could an ordinary person have the authority to expel an assistant director from VinOPEN?

Maximus looked at everyone, his face showing no signs of panic. He calmly looked at everyone's mocking faces.

Then Maximus took out his phone and made a call, gently saying, "I'm outside the company!"

When Louis saw Maximus's action, he felt a bit startled, but then he shook his head, feeling that this was unlikely to happen.

"Zelda, quickly call the security up here and have them kick Maximus out of the company."

Louis gave Zelda the order.

Zelda looked at Louis and then at Maximus, but in the end, she picked up her phone and called the security.

"Director Frank, are you... are you mistaking the person? This Maximus is just an employee of our company!" Louis stammered, speaking incoherently.

Everyone looked at Henry Frank, waiting for his response.

"This is Maximus, the grandson of the Roberts family. The former chairman of the TiKi conglomerate passed away, and Maximus is the new chairman of the TiKi conglomerate. Let's applaud and welcome our new chairman!"

Director Henry Frank confirmed as he opened his mouth, and everyone was terrified. So Maximus was truly the chairman of the TiKi conglomerate and the owner of VinOPEN company!

Upon hearing this, Louis was immediately filled with fear.
