Jaws dropped. Everyone gasped. They all stared at this young man in utmost shock!

They couldn't believe that someone could bid a billion dollars effortlessly like this!

They stared in immense shock.

No one could add anything. No one could top it. Not even the men sent by the Maxwell family. They didn't plan for this much, so they didn't have the money to compete at all.

They simply stared in shock.

Even Zane was speechless. He didn't believe Dylan could go this high! He was just impressed and proud.

But Dylan simply smiled as his system beeped.

He was getting paid more for Face-Slapping while spending his money.

"Now to the next item!" The host said and proceeded.

A house. Or rather a Grand Estate Mansion. Oliver Maxwell certainly needed this one, so his men knew they must get it.

They had lost the first one so they couldn't lose this!

The bid proceeded and all said the amount they had.

Then one of the three men said.

"1 Billion dollars!" He had a smile as he spoke because he was sure that Dylan wouldn't top this! He believed he didn't have any money left since he used up the last.

No one spoke to top the one billion dollars. And this made the men smile. They had won this time!

"No one? Going... Going..." The host said.

But immediately, Dylan announced "2 billion dollars!"

He had literally doubled the price! And this left everyone in greater shock. They stared at him with immense shock while wondering if he was a king's son or something!

"How's it possible?!" They asked.

The three men couldn't even speak. They couldn't top that! It was double the amount! And they didn't even have any of that!

They simply watched in shock as Dylan took the Estate.

Dylan casually smiled as his system beeped.

The men sent by Oliver stared at each other and promised to get the other stuff their boss sent them.

But they all lost it to Dylan. He was always a step ahead and got it all effortlessly.

Then came the last one; The Jade Dragon Ring!

The men swore to get this by all means!

The auction started and everyone began making their bids. The three men were getting ready to make the highest bid!

5 Billion dollars! This was their biggest because it was the most important one to their boss. So they wanted to get it.

But before they could even speak up and bid with their 5 Billion dollars, Dylan raised his card and spoke up.

"10 Billion dollars!"

Everyone gasped in shock. Silence filled the room as they stared at Dylan. All hope was lost because no one was topping that!

Not even the three men sent by Oliver. They didn't even have that with them! Dylan had shut them up even before they could speak. And they stared at him speechless.

And like that, it all went to Dylan and the three men were heading back with nothing!

The auction wasn't over. They were still auctioning other stuff.

They were auctioning a rare herb. One that was extremely effective in saving people.

Dylan wasn't really interested in it so he didn't bother. The others were now bidding for it.

As they were bidding, Dylan casually stared at one of the ladies who was bidding.

She was a beautiful young lady with blonde hair. She looked rich with her fancy clothes and all.

Dylan could tell that this young lady was desperate to get this herb! Dylan didn't know why because which young lady would need a herb so bad??

The young lady had tried to get it with the amount she had. But she couldn't reach it.

Many were already bidding as high as 500 thousands dollars! And she didn't seem to be able to get it.

She looked extremely worried. And Dylan could tell that the herb meant a lot of her.

And so Dylan raised his card and placed a bid for the herb "1 Million dollars"

No one could go that far for this herb. They couldn't challenge Dylan and so they instantly gave up.

The young lady turned and stared at Dylan, shocked. She couldn't help but wonder why Dylan got the herb.

But Dylan didn't really look her way.

And like that, the auction ended and everyone began dispersing for their homes.

The three men sent by Oliver were filled with shame for losing their whole bids! They simply left without hesitation to avoid talks and stares.

It was the first time the Maxwell family had came to an auction and lost it all.

And while they left, Dylan got up and went to take possession of all he had won. Zane followed him.

As they got it, The young lady from earlier, Lea, had quickly walked up to her with a female assistant behind her.

"Oh! Please can I have a word with you?" Lea requested.

"Sure. What's it?" Dylan inquired.

"I want to plead with you to sell the herb to me. I desperately need it to save someone's life. So please sell it to me. I'll pay up slowly by installment. So please help me" She was so genuine with her plea that Dylan was moved.

He guessed she desperately needed this herb because ladies her age would be going after jewelleries and gold, just like his ex-wife, Emily.

Dylan could tell her ex was materialistic and liked shiny things of money! But he thought she loved him enough to stay even though he didn't have it back then.

He guessed he was just naive.

Dylan stared at the young lady with a warm smile.

"No need for that. Because I actually got the herb for you" he handed it to her.

"Take it. Saw you desperately needed it so I made efforts to get it for you." He announced while handing it to her.
