007: Lost.

Lea and her assistant stared in immense shock. They couldn't believe their eyes and ears.

"Oh! How's that... I mean I can't accept it! You spent a lot of it! Give me your number, I'll pay back as fast as I can!"

But Dylan refused "There's honestly no need for that. I did it willingly so please take it and don't bother at all"

But Lea still felt bad "At least let me pay with some money..." She insisted.

"No need. All I need for you is to make good use of it and save the person you wish to save. If you can do that, I'll be happy to have helped"

Dylan checked his wrist watch "If you excuse me... I'm sorry but I have to leave" he smiled at her "Good luck"

He and Zane left the scene as the Lea and her female assistant watched them leave.

They stared in shock and admiration while the Lea held the herb in her hand.

"Young lady... He really is an angel sent to us" the assistant expressed.

Lea smiled "He truly is. I hope I can meet him in the future and repay this kindness" she said, admiring him as he left the exit.

The three men had gone to Oliver's Mansion and broke the news to him.

Oliver was in shock. He scattered things around in fury.

"What?! How's that possible?! How can you be that useless that you can't even secure a single thing?!"

"We're sorry! He came out of nowhere and took it all! We couldn't fight back!" One apologized as they went down on their knees.

"Useless! You can't do anything! You couldn't even get that ring! That was the most important!" He crashed out, scattering the table.

"We're sorry! He was just too rich! We don't even know how that's possible!"

"How can someone be richer than me if not the governor?! How's that possible?!" Oliver demanded, angry. "Who the hell is that?!"

"We don't even know! He just kept increasing the money as though he created money himself! And he did so calmly as though he's not afraid of his money finishing!" One said.

"And we don't even know who he is! It's like he came out of nowhere!" Another explained.

Oliver was still angry. He was burning up. He couldn't believe he lost everything! Especially the ring.

It didn't sound possible to him because he never lost an auction! Not even once!

Now he didn't know how to attend the grand event without the stuff he planned to get! How was he supposed to flaunt and make everyone worship him?!

Emily calmed him down as he stared at the men.

"Get out of my sight you useless things! You're fired!" He snapped, angry beyond words.

The men didn't dare beg. They knew I'd be worse if they did. So they got up and left the room.

Oliver say down on his couch, panting furiously as Emily sat beside him, calming him down.

"Don't worry. Maybe it's some foreign guy who came from abroad to get some stuff. He's probably gone now. You'll get better opportunities to get something better" Emily calmed.

"And you can also get something else to flaunt with. So don't worry" she had managed to calm him down.

And Oliver sighed while nodding "I guess so. That bastard should pray I don't find him. Because if I do, it's over for him" he said.

He was really pissed off and this had ruined his whole mood.

Dylan and Zane were at their apartment at a hotel room.

Zane couldn't stop expressing his shock and admiration over how Dylan had gotten the whole stuff he bid for!

He spoke as Dylan simply smiled it off.

"This weekend, we'll be attending a grand event" Dylan informed him, sitting down on the bed.

Zane was standing, his arms folded as he stared at Dylan "A Grand event"

"Yes. One for elites"

Zane smiled "Woah. I can't believe I'll be attending such an event in my life. It feels so new and strange"

Dylan smiled at him "Get used to it. We're getting to the Elite road soon and we'll be attending bigger events. So get ready"

Zane casually smiled "Thanks again for acknowledging me and bringing me along with you. I'm more than honoured"

Dylan smiled "Don't mention it. You're like a brother to me now. So of course I'll take you everywhere I go" He saw himself in Zane, so he wanted to help him as much as possible.

Zane nodded with a smile, grateful "So, what are we going to do in this event?" What's the occasion?" He was curious.

Dylan smiled as he stared into thin air. He learnt some of his past enemies would be there, especially Emily and Oliver who would be there to flaunt!

So he needed to also be there and give them a grand surprise.

"Nothing much" Dylan smiled as he stared at Oliver "Just to surprise some old friends"

Zane smiled back at him. He knew exactly what he meant by that

That night, Dylan spent his time thinking about his daughter and family. He didn't even know if his daughter was still around.

Back then, he didn't get the opportunity to return back to the hospital for her daughter, and as a result of that he didn't get to save her daughter.

Dylan had a terrible feeling that her daughter didn't survive it. And this broke his heart. And it made him want to get his revenge on Emily and Oliver the more.

The Day arrived. The evening of the Grand event.

It was being held at one of the most luxurious hotels in the country! A five star hotel for the Elites.

Many people had already started arriving at the scene. Rich men and women of high profiles were already getting down from their extravagant cars.

They were all dressed in luxurious clothes from different brands. Chatting and laughing with others while flaunting different stuff they got. This was indeed a rich man's party.

The atmosphere was already rich like the decoration of the venue. Extravagant and screamed luxury in all ways possible.

And at that moment, Dylan and Zane also arrived at the venue of this Grand Event.

They arrived in the luxurious car they had won at the auction. And as soon as their car pulled over, all attention instantly went to them.
