Abel stretched his hand toward Adriano for a shake.
Adriano pulled out his hand, received it and bowed slightly, showing respect.
Abel knew it quite well.
Before, he used to be poor, but now, he was a man of value. A man this company saw as worthy enough that they easily credited him with billions of dollars. There was no way he would still continue to behave like he used to when he was poor.
“Thank you for coming. Please come with me.” Adriano gestured toward the elevator.
Abel nodded. He stepped behind him, letting him lead the way.
On the other hand, the junior executive, the secretary, and the security guard stood trembling.
They knew it. They didn’t need anyone to tell them. They were done for.
“Why didn’t you just check the appointment and see that he was indeed contacted instead of getting me into trouble?” The junior manager bellowed.
“How was I supposed to check? He was dressed shabbily.” She exclaimed, her heart beating fast.
“You fucking moron.” The junior manager bellowed again, his eyes darting toward the security guard.
“You said he showed you the email. Why didn’t you stop us from embarrassing him like that instead of staring and making us get us into trouble?”
The security guard stared at his feet, his heart pounding. He knew it. He needed this job more than ever.
Five years ago, his account on the Uber app was terminated because he was rude to countless customers.
For three years after that, he looked for a job everywhere, but no company was willing to hire him until he came across someone. A recruiter for NorthWest Energy who referred him to work as a doorman security guard.
He’d been doing the job judiciously, making sure he was not rude to any customers like he had been in his previous job. And the fact that this company made it easier because all their customers were wealthy meant he hadn’t violated the rule since he began working here.
But today, someone who dressed shabbily, someone he didn’t believe could be anyone important, and that he already embarrassed was the new chairman of the company?
“I’m fucking talking to you, moron!!”
“For refusing to answer me, you are fired!” the junior executive manager snapped at the security guard.
The security guard smirked immediately.
“Fired?” he scoffed.
“You can’t fire me. You don’t even know if you are still keeping your job.”
“Better pray we all don’t get fired today.” He turned and stepped away from the lobby.

Meanwhile, Abel stepped out of the elevator after Adriano.
Walking behind him, they eventually stepped into the boardroom.
“Everyone, meet the genius and our new chairman. Meet Chairman Abel Kane.”
Everyone rose immediately.
They knew it. If it weren’t for Abel, they would be at the verge of bankruptcy. A lot of companies had terminated their contracts with them. A lot of customers had reviewed them badly. They were even having a bad reputation on Trustpilot.
But this man changed everything with his battery. With its commercialization, the company was now booming once again as though the havoc had never happened.
“Please come sit at the right seat for you, sir.” Adriano bowed, gesturing toward the chair at the head of the table.
Abel smiled.
This had been his dream.
Ten years ago, when he was obsessed with the battery, he’d wished the battery would take him to places he had never imagined. He wished that someday, he’d dine with kings and queens and become a respected figure.
Now, ten years later, the dream was beginning to materialize.
Abel sat on the chair, and everyone sat down after him.
“Mr. Chairman, please sign this document.” Adriano stepped beside him, placing a document right on the mahogany table.
He understood how the law worked. Being a chairman without documentation was nothing at all.
Abel laid his eyes on the document. Seeing that everything was legal and fair enough, he signed.
Adriano bowed again.
He sat on the first seat beside the head chair.
“Mr. Chairman, now that you have assumed your position, please give your first order.”
Abel smirked. He knew what orders he must first give.
Ten years ago, if those nonentities had ridiculed him just because of his appearance, he would have let it slide because he didn’t have any authority.
But now, that was no longer the case. He must begin to let people know that no matter what, one person who feels on top of the world must not look down on another person. No matter the position, dress, race and whatnot.
“Bring me the doorman, the receptionist, and the other man in a suit.”
“Yes, sir.” Adriano answered.
“You heard the chairman. Bring those three idiots. They have a lesson to learn, and surely in the hard way.” Adriano instructed, turning to the HR manager.
“Yes, sir.” the HR manager rose and stepped out.

“What?” the junior executive asked.“What are you gonna do, huh? Beat me?” He poked his finger on Abel’s chest and began to hit him in the chest.Suddenly, he grabbed his shirt and pulled him closer. He leaned his mouth to his ear and whispered.“You are a nobody. People like you don’t get even the slightest opportunity to enter a place like this. Now, if you know what’s good for you, leave before I make a scapegoat of you.”“No!” Abel sounded confident.“What?” the junior executive blurted.Threatening Abel, he expected him to get scared and scram out of the building. Chapter Seven Reception
The security smirked as soon as he said that. He knew it or so he thought. A man like Abel could never possibly be able to provide the email. With this viable reason, he would have the right to embarrass him as much as he wants.Quickly, without allowing Abel to pull his phone from his pocket, he shoved his hand, grabbing his trouser like a criminal.“What’s going on?” Abel asked, surprised at this sudden rude behaviour.“You are one fucking liar and a piece of shit. That’s what’s going on.” He hit his foot on Abel’s heel, wanting to smack him down and dial 911 immediately, reporting him for trespassing. But Abel’s stamina was firm. He couldn’t smack him down. So, he pushed him towards the stairs down to the road.“Leave now. I don’t want to treat you like an animal.”While he was being pushed and dragged to the stairs, Abel already dug his hand into his pocket. He opened his phone. At the moment, he was at the edge of the steps.“Look!” He raised his phone without opening the email c
