The big book floated in the air glowing an eerie red light. My body, under the control of the deity walked towards the floating book." Yes, come to me".

Chelsea on the other hand had already gotten tired of screaming my name. She stood at the end of the hall, I guess she was scared out of her wits. She was in a mess, I guess something had triggered something within her because she held her head and mumbled something while her body visibly shook.

My body kept on walking towards the floating book. When I got close enough, the deity raised my hands to touch it

"Yes, come to me".

The book emitted a red blinding light, so bright that I could not see anything else. I felt blinded by the light. After a bit of time, I could no longer feel my eyes burning from the light.

I was in a place so unfamiliar, it looked like I was in a garden a really beautiful garden, with two children around the ages of seven to ten years.

The two boys, I think were brothers, but something was visibly off about one of them; The older one looked healthy and lively while the younger one looked very sick. They looked like royalty as they were dressed in expensive adornment and clothes.

I wished I had someone here to explain this to me, Immediately I heard a voice. " You already found this place, nice work".

I turned around to look for where the voice originated, and what I saw blew my mind. There standing was the most beautiful dark-skinned lady I had ever seen, her golden yellow eyes looked like they had been extracted from the sun.

Her black hair was as full as cotton and as smooth as silk. She was tall and endowed with curves only the gods could mould. Her hips were of a parabolic curve accentuating her breasts. Saying she looked like an hourglass would be an insult to her shape, she could only be described by two words... she was drop-dead gorgeous.

"What are you looking at? You know I can hear your thoughts, right?". She walked closer to me, but the shocking thing was that her mouth did not move. "...And yes, we communicate with our thoughts here".

My face was already beet red. I was so embarrassed at that time.

"I know you have questions ask away". She sat down on a seat that appeared out of nowhere.

"Please sit".

It was now so hard to stand, it was a struggle to keep my balance after saying that and I fell but landed on a chair. "Where in the heavens did this come from? I mean where are we?".

"Well, your consciousness is inside my book...". she made it sound as if it was what I was supposed to know. "...And yes, I am the deity in your head, this is my human form".

"You are serious? This is what you look like, I was expecting...". I was sincerely shocked.

"What? you expected to see a man, hahahahaha. You are too naive".

I was embarrassed but I didn't want to be embarrassed any longer, so I looked away from her and looked towards the children in front of me. It seemed they had not noticed me.

"You want to know who they are, right?".

"Yes, I would be satisfied if you would tell me".

"All alright then, the older one is King Tofel... well not this present King Tofel, this is King Tofel the first from three thousand years ago. and his younger brother is your father, King Kozak".

"MY FATHER!!?".

"Yes, your father, the sickly one is your father. At that time he was Prince Kozak".

"This is serious, so what is happening?". I asked.

"Shhhhh... just watch it, I haven't watched it in ages".

I kept quiet and watched the scene in front of me. the two boys loved each other as brothers do. They had a close relationship with each other.

the elder brother was the ideal child loved more than the other; because as they were playing in the garden, their mother I guess, came and carried young Tofel even though he was older and called Kozak to come along.

Kozak struggled to walk as he followed his mother behind until a servant came and carried young Kozak.

"Let us fast forward to the place where it gets fun". The deity moved her hands and sometime of about five to ten years passed and the two brothers had grown.

Tofel was a strong light mage, and Kozak was a normal human without any elemental or abstract affinity.

Crowned with the fact that Kozak was not a mage he was also very sick, and he struggled to keep his life, but one upside to it was his high intellect.

He had all the time in the world, as he had no mage training to partake in because of his impairment. So, he spent all his time in the king's library, at the age of 17 he had read all the books in his father's library.

The two boys grew well, and their enmity grew as well. As a result of finishing all the books in his father's library. Kozak had no choice but to go to the keepers of knowledge to get more books to sharpen his mind and enhance his knowledge; whilst Tofel his brother was all the rage, he was the perfect prince, built like the choice son of the gods.

As the life clock kept ticking, Prince Kozak met Isabella in the home of the keepers of knowledge. She was the disciple of the chief keeper, she wasn't stunning, but she was a feast for the eyes. Her blonde hair, her beautiful smile, she was truly pretty, and from what I watched she was friendly as well as caring because she became Kozak's only friend.

They, Isabella and Kozak spent time together, gradually bringing them closer. It didn't take long before Kozak fell deeply in love with her, but he was hesitant to tell her or bring her home.

He was scared she would not accept him or that his brother would, with time, snatch her from him. After some time, he gathered the courage to open up his feelings to her, and she accepted him; soon he took her home, despite all the bad feelings he was having.

Immediately he took Isabella home, his worst fears came true. Isabella was hooked to Tofel, as was Tofel fascinated by Isabella. Kozak tried his best to keep Isabella's eyes on him, not his brother, but Isabella, as all the women before were attracted to his brother, she watched all his duels and watched Tofel's training sessions.

It had become clear, but Kozak kept his love for her and trusted that she would not do anything to hurt him.

But I guess all good things must come to an end. Isabella stopped coming to meet Kozak and spent more time with Tofel. One day, of all the days, Kozak was looking for Isabella to spice up their relationship by taking her out. He searched and searched, but he could not find her anywhere, she wasn't in her room, not in the garden nor the library.

He went to ask his brother if he had seen Isabella. Kozak came to Tofel's chamber and found the door open. He let himself inside, and the scene was not pleasant, everywhere, Tofel's clothes as well as females. Kozak tried his best not to jump to the obvious fact.

Kozak went deeper into Tofel's chamber and saw his lover, Isabella riding Tofel as if her life depended on it. The smile she had on her face; the expression of ecstasy drove Kozak to his limits.

Kozak was too heartbroken to talk, he just turned around and left. The betrayal from the woman he loved... the smug expression Tofel always had, all these pushed Kozak to his limits. he was beyond heart broken.

"THIS HAS GONE ON LONG ENOUGH!!!".

Kozak banged on the door to his chamber in pure rage, and pain.

"After a few days, he picked up some of his saved money and his books and some maps to come and find me". The deity has paused the memory to talk to me.

"After a few days of searching, he came upon where I was buried... my shrine. he prayed earnestly until I was tired of his disturbance and made him a false demon of death".

"So?". I asked.

"So... he went back and killed Isabella with his own hands and exiled his brother to one of the continents". She paused.

"Hope you get it? so, let's get to where you come into the picture".

The memory started playing again. it showed that Kozak's personality had been corrupted by the power the deity gave him. After killing his whole family, he took over and began ruling the five continents.

Fast forward to what seemed like a few hundred years, and King Kozak, became the overlord over the five continents. He had many wives and many children.

He married his last wife Mia, a mortal of high intellect as he was a hundred years ago. She had black abyssal eyes and silver-white hair. She was beautiful but not stunning. she had a resemblance to me.

"That's your mother and she is pregnant for you now, let's continue".

A day came a few weeks after I had been born, King Kozak called Mia into his chamber. "Take this with you and activate it with your blood. A war is coming. Take Marshall with you to the western continent, in the heart of the leviathan forest".

"Yes, My lord".

Mia took baby me to the forest with the help of Marshall. She activated the artefact with her blood, and it glowed a red light. She dropped it on top of baby me and it wrapped around me and transformed into a huge rock.

"By the way, Chelsea's father was Little Marshall and was the son of the western continent baron, Mason, your father's right-hand man".

Back to the memory, Mia was crying as Marshall told her that it was time for them to go. This made my heart writhe in pain. She was up and ready to go when night crawlers appeared and killed her and injured Marshall before he escaped to his father's mansion.

"I have a question, how old am I?".

"Well, you are around two thousand years old. You would have stayed longer if the magic had not worn out twenty years ago and that old woman had not found you".

"If I may ask, how old are you?". I asked.

"You can't ask a lady that question, young man. But I will tell you this, I don't want to hide it from you".

"Please do tell me".

"OK, I made a pact with your father, that his last son will become my disciple, soon you would understand". She stood up and made a gesture for me to stand as well.

"Will I get corrupted as well?".

"Well yes, your personality has to be compatible with your element, so you would find yourself becoming narcissistic, sadistic and coldly calculative, it should start from tomorrow morning".

"You can't be serious now, are you?". I asked in disbelief.

"I am, you need to sleep. let's go".

  • The Dao of Space and Time

Vladimir was in that position, for some time, thinking and asking himself what was the reason he was about to embark on this journey. After some time of thinking Vladimir seemed to gain understanding and enlightenment. Through the knowledge that was forced into his head, Vladimir came to analyze the lives of great mages in history, they all had something in common. They became strong because of something they loved, something they lost, or something they never had but always dreamed of. "what is it that I love?... Hmm". Vladimir asked himself out loud, in an attempt to gain answers faster. Vladimir looked through his life and found out that he had not found anything worthwhile, nothing had caught his fancy, because he lacked some things while growing up didn't mean he would not get it eventually. That was not enough reason for him to want to grow strong. He had never been attached to anybody, not the old woman, his 'granny' that took care of him, or her husband. Not to talk of his

[ where the fuck was Vladimir?].****Vladimir was in the healer's office and noticed that something was wrong with him, fatally wrong with him. He felt weaker, not like a level or two weaker, he felt weak, as weak as he was growing up. Cipher had sucked up almost all the blood essence in Vladimir during the fission process. Originally Vladimir had a 78 per cent pure blood essence coursing through his meridians, but presently all he had left was a puny 4 per cent purity of blood essence within his meridians, and this could merel

In the garden, the question that lord marshall had asked Chelsea kept her silent.Chelsea thought she was in deep thought. It took some time to think before Chelsea could come up with a satisfactory answer. "Father actually...". Chelsea paused to get her thoughts in the right place. "... I am not sure". Truthfully she wasn't sure what she felt for Vladimir. But this was not an answer lord marshall was looking for. " Alright my dear, it seems I did to ask my question clearly... Ahem...". Lord Marshall cleared his throat before continuing. The words that came out of the mouth of lord marshall were slow and straight to the point. "... My daughter,
