Chapter 2, Commander Erika.

Within the commoner region of city rose the endless shower never seem to cease, making the streets desolate of human presence. but nevertheless as the cry of the early morning rooster pierced through the dark clouds the people of city rose finally began to go about their daily lives.

A crack of lightning could be heard as the pouring shower became a drizzle, but this sound didn’t come from the sky but from a particular house in the neighbourhood, everyone around the area were already used to it so they only sighed and thought to them selves.”Here we go again”.

Elias burst through the door of the house quickly followed by yellow lightning, “get back here Elias”. The voice of an angry woman could be heard all the way to city gates with the guards themselves smiling wearily after realising who it was.

Angel jumped down from the stairway with a flip, accompanied by charging electric currents, she punched towards the door at Elias.

Elias’s hairs stood on end as he felt an electric chill run down he’s spine, but yet somehow just when the currents were about to hit he always manages to dodge out of the way at the last minute.

“This kid has gotten better, in that case let’s see how far you can run from me.”

Elias hopped onto the railing grabbing a hold of the steel bars and propelling himself onto the next one until he finally reached the roof, he didn’t waste any time before bolting towards the next rooftop, once there he took advantage of the wet surface to slide down while reducing he’s momentum with the wall before capering into the crowd.

Angel was still standing there with an ambiguous expression on her beautiful face, her eye lids twitched a-bit before a deep golden glow began to emerge from her naturally blonde hair, larger amounts of yellow lightning submerged her petite body.

Suddenly, A flash of lightning zigzagged it’s way to the roof Elias just jumped from, when the lightning retracted Angel was revealed, she stood there looking down on the rest of the city like a war Goddess, except the waitress cloth seemed a little out of place.

Angels eyes squinted as she spotted Elias desperately trying to dash true the crowd while occasionally drawing curses from the people he bumped or stepped on.

With a flash, Angel once more vanished, it’s like her body was devolving into lightning itself and being used for instant mobility beyond what an ordinary human is capable of.

Elias didn’t stop for even a second to catch his breath, him of all people knew just how formidable that mother of his was, Elias took a hard turn into the market district, clearly intent on using a larger crowd to escape Angel’s killer senses.

Elias skipped through the crowd before sighting an incomplete building, well the building is more of half collapsed than actually incomplete. nevertheless, Elias scaled the shop stands in-front of him, using the cloths the shop owners used to hide their goods from the drizzle to propel himself through one of the buildings windows.

He rolled on the ground but immediately got up on his feet to continue running for dear life.

Elias’s reflexes were a sight of aware, just he’s immense stamina is something children his age can’t compare to, of course his current self is as a result Angel’s special parenting routine.

As Elias took a hard turn to the right before he could stop himself he clashed directly into a figure in a black cloak.

“Ahhh”.

A short but feminine cry was heard, but Elias didn’t even notice as his head rung from the impact, the cloaked individual wasn’t any better, infact they were worst as they simply sat on the ground not being able to tell left from right.

Elias harrumphed, clearly a bit annoyed, he raised his head to find a small petite figure in a black cloak staring blankly at him.

......

yellow lightning flashed and Angel once more materialised atop the tallest building in the market, the building was a massive abandoned clock tower that looked like it could collapse at any moment.

Angel’s face was expressionless as her hawk like eyes stared straight at the half collapsed building Elias ran into, but just as she was about to zap herself after him she spotted a very familiar figure at one of the shop stands, Angel immediately revealed a rare look of glee, if Elias was here he’ll probably be shocked cause for a moment there Angel seemed like a young woman excited to see her boyfriend and not a masculine and dominant soldier.

with a flash of yellow lightning Angel vanished and appeared besides another woman in men’s clothing , the woman was visibly stunned. “Angel, it’s you”.

“Commander Erika, I can’t believe it’s really you.”

Angel immediately hugged her the moment she landed.

The woman immediately responded after a short moment of astonishment. “I’m currently off duty, just call me Erika”.

They finally separated but still held each other’s hands as if worried the other will suddenly vanish. “And who was the one that never fails to remind us that soldiers are never off duty”.

Erika simply couldn’t take it anymore and once more pulled Angel for another hug, the surrounding passerby’s couldn’t help but sneak glances at the two beautiful women embracing each other, just seeing one of them can brighten up the dulled atmosphere in the city and now they’re two of them embracing, but unfortunately one of them seemed completely lacking in the chest department but just the sight of the big boobed big sister holding a small and petite little sister was something many of them secretly fantasised off.

After a while Erika and Angel once more separated from each other.

Awwww.

The crowds reaction immediately drawed hostile looks from both Angel and Erika, The crowd immediately looked the other way and continued on their merry way.
